I would absolutely give no stars if I could. This is the SHADIEST place to do business. I had been with them for over 6 years.Its been nothing but problems. Finally had the chance to trade my car in a few weeks ago. Thank God. Now, they are refusing to close out my account!! Despite them already sending the dealership I traded the car at the title. Even though they say they will not send the title out until the account is paid in full??? They are also saying I am past due on the car I don't even have anymore. Also stated that I would be responsible for the late fees and interest that will accumulate and if neither were paid it would effect my credit.

I purchased my car 2 years ago. 2 years of payments and all payments have went towards interest. My interest rate basically doubled my car price! I am now looking at a way to get out of this deal. I was young and not too knowledgable about this type of stuff back then but now I know and I know they are getting over on me. Then when you call in to pay your note, they charge $8 just to pay. Complete ripoff!

Horrible organization, their contracts are written in a predatory way and in coordination with the dealerships that work with them they scam people to get into 3 year leases telling you that you can break the lease for a penalty of "a few thousand dollars" when in reality you are locked into crazy liability of potentially the entire value of the vehicle. If I could give them a zero for rating I would worst company to finance a vehicle through. Repossessed my vehicle for 2 missed payments but sent partial payments. when I called after vehicle was taken they wouldn't work with me at all to regain my vehicle. They told me policy is they wil not reinstate my vehicle unless I pay the remaining balance of 26,000.00. Offered to send a few months in advance bc I had a medical financial emergency and they did not care show compassion understanding or anything told me my truck would go to aucdion and I'd be responsible for whatever balance was remaining after it was sold at auction. There was no alternative or way to help me with understanding my situation and left me without a vehicle with 3 children and no way to get to work to support my family

My son bought his truck 1 week before the covid shut down hes hours got cut but still managed to make his payments on time every month...NOW unfortunately his been laid off due to covid called Chrysler capital told them his situation..they're response well give you till next month to make your payment with interest...wow very heartless

You're better off going through an actual bank where you can actually talk to someone who knows what they're doing. I asked a "manager" about their policies and she stated only the lender would know that, but the lender only speaks with dealers (who could be falsifying/forging information and they'd never know because they don;t do their due diligence to find out) They will not provide any information the the consumer (the actual people paying to keep them in business lol)They won't cooperate even if they may victims of auto loan fraud. I cannot wait for Dodd-Frank to take over the auto industry.

Just got off the phone with Chrysler Capital concerning our recent lease-end. They were charging us over $1500 in lease end fees, including Excess wear and tear and a late fee for our final payment.
Here's the rub: I had our account set up for auto-pay, but CC stopped my final payment without notifying me, so it was a few weeks late after I paid it manually. Also, we always purchase a Lease Excess Wear and Tear policy because it's always cheaper than the wear and tear bill. All damages under $5000 are covered.
During my call, I proposed that it was odd that they had no record of my Wear and Tear policy or that the dealership wouldn't share that with Chrysler Capital. It turns out the dealer HAD share it with CC. When I pressed the point (angrily) She suddenly found the Wear and Tear contract and informed me those fees would be waived. They are also waiving the late fee (after I told the woman that ending auto-payments for the last payment sure sounds like a scam). I also told her that it's these lease-end "flaming hoops" that make me hostile towards Chrysler in general.
I learned this lesson through Chrysler: Be prepared to fight for your money.

If I could give negative stars, trust me, I would. This company is absolutely horrible and it s practices are borderline fraudulent at best. I won t get long-winded with this review, but if your options are Chrysler Capital or the bus, you d be better off on the bus.

First of all, I was a victim of fraud. I was selling my car and the person wanting to buy it sent a fraudulent cashier's check. CC representative tells me that the check has cleared and I can release the vehicle to the person buying it. I get a call from the fraud department telling me not to release the car because the check is fake. Luckily I hadn't given him the car yet. They woucan't reopen my account until they officially get the check back but assure me that nothing negative will be reported to my credit because of the circumstances. They wouldn't let me make a payment until the account was reopened so I just traded the car in. Now they are calling me telling me that I have been reported to the credit bureau for missing a payment. Awesome business practice!

Never lease a car form them. Questionable business practices which are really just a masked fraud - they charged me nearly $1800 in fees on my lease, which they were unable to even explain! Multiple calls to their customer service - no help, they just say "we will investigate and contact you", which of course never happens.

The worst experience ever I am in a very difficult situation financially in my car is sitting in the garage that I cannot use and I won t be able to use for many months and there is no compassion there s no understanding there s no desire to help at all and this is the worst company to work with never buy another car from them again and please if you read this don t.

Another bad review! Had a lease for a Ram 1500 and traded it in for a different vehicle back in 2017. However, 2 months ago I got a call from Chrysler Capital collections saying I owed $75 for a traffic violation (toll road charge)... but when that actually happened in 2017 I had a toll tag that didn't read and I got a notification about it... when I talked to the toll authority they said it had already been paid but since I actually had a toll tag the violation would have been deleted . now more than a year later they say I owe them and even disputing it has had no positive results! My company and I will never lease or purchase a vehicle through Chrysler Capital again!!

Need to reconsider your lender... I work for a dealer and will steer people toward Ally or US Bank. Otherwise, I may end up losing customers over the difficulty working with this payment system

I will never do business again with this company. They have no communication with the dealership I purchased the vehicle from. They could care less what happens. I've called them three times to have them send me a final bill on a leased vehicle and its been over a month. I've never had to chase someone down to pay them so that my credit wouldn't be hurt. Everyone stay away as far as possible. I do hair and I've been telling every single client I have to stay away. HORRIBLE SERVICE. UNPROFESSIONAL.

I Made my (1st) truck payment on the 31st using Chrysler Capital's Website who uses Western Union Speedpay for $ 2.50 convenience fee. After the 3rd of the month, I noticed the payment never posted to my checking account. I sent 2 emails and finally called them on the 6th just to be told that even though I got a conformation number that the payment was successful, and they last for numbers of the checking account was correct, and they had the right routing number because the bank was correct, I was being charged $25.00 service fee since it didn't go through. I asked what the full 9 digit account number was and no one could find it. I WAS MAD. I made another payment over the phone with another account from the same bank, and guess what. Here it is the 11th, and it still hasn't " WAIT FOR IT " .....Hit my bank account yet. I'm more than pissed off. I've also sent a check through my banks bill pay just incase on the 6th, so this story will be continued. I swear if I find out the phone payment didn't go through I'm paying this off and forget the credit bump, I will NEVER do business with Chrysler Capital again. I RATE THEM A NEGATIVE 10.

Okay Update : I received a call from Chrysler Capital today, and I must say I'm impressed with the customer service rep I spoke to. The problem turned out to be the payment was submitted as a savings account and it was a checking account. She was more than happy to refund the $50.00 dollars I was charged, and spoke to my bank on a 3 way call. I'm going to update my rating, and give this a thumbs up. Thank you Chrysler Capital for restoring my faith in you. going all out for a 5 star

Horrible customer service and out to just get money! They sold a brand new car which ended up being a lemon and had issues within 4 months of owning. Now we are PAYING THEM to take it back. Wth just so wrong!
