Beautifully tended garden.Thanks, Bob!
Inspirational virtual Easter Service with glorious brass, timpani, choirs, and meaningful sermon.
Beautiful church, warm and welcoming congregation and clergy.
Beautiful gothic architecture. Statuary inside includes Louis Pasteur and Clara Barton. Parking is terrible.
I went here for a memorial service for a friend s mom recently. I had never been to an Episcopal church funeral/memorial service. They did a great job. This historic church is located in north Ghent historical district. The church itself is beautiful inside and out with the perpendicular gothic architecture. It was built over 100 years ago. I love the architecture. It sounds really nice inside with the organ. The church members had little microphones on and we could hear them perfectly during the service. Rev. Jess Stribling did a great job. We had refreshments here after in the Hall and the staff members beautifully prepared the spread of items. Great service for that as well. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. They have a handicapped accessible ramp to go up as well.
Attended a concert there. Excellent space for acoustic music, wonderful organ, terrific musician, historic building, just a wonderful space. Thank you for hosting concerts for the public to attend.
Beautiful historic place of worship. Stained glass collection rivals those in the great cathedrals of Europe. WORLD CLASS CHOIR!!!
I have been coming here for several years. Beautiful church and the people are amazing and welcoming to everyone.
Nice example of an American cathedral. Pipe organ and choir sounded good in there. Pews are traditional hard wood without cushions.
I was confirmed into the Catholic Church while still in high school. I always felt that if I was to attend another church I would be cheating on the Catholic Church. This is the only church I have been to in my time in Virginia that I feel welcome and at home without the guilt of leaving the Catholic Church. I haven t been in some time but plan on going back to be a normal member.
Most genuine minister ever. You can't not love him. He walks the talk.
Love the church. The chanting. The congregation. And Rev Win.
THE REASON WHY I GIVE THIS CHURCH ONE STAR IS BECAUSE ITS ALL BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORICAL CHURCH, BUT THE PRIEST IS VERY NASTY AND TO ME IT SEEMS HE ONLY LIKES WHITE PEOPLE WITH MONEY, DONT BE AFRICAN AMERICAN AND GO TO THIS CHURCH!!!!!!
I ve never been here for church but they have a great meeting room. I come here monthly for the Ghent Business Association meetings and they are a wonderful host.
