I picked up my new mazda cx5 two weeks ago from here and was looked after by Matt and I received top class service.

I received more than I thought for my trade in, they serviced the car, MOT'd it and placed two new tyres on the front at a reduced cost as a good will gesture.

Their after sales service was quick and prompt as they dealt with a tyre pressure warning within the week of picking it up.

The car is a pleasure to drive and the whole transaction was seamless and pleasant from start to finish.

Professional service I recommend buying a car I am very happy

After looking on line, visiting car supermarkets, dealers, finally decided on Seat Leon estate car. But after visiting those places, encouraged me to think seriously about where I buy it from. I saw the exact car I was looking for on Chris W Roads website, I read the reviews and was glad to see they all favourable. I can see why now. I rang spoke to Peter, who booked me in for test drive following day. Drove the 90 miles, the car was ready, Peter took me out for a test drive, loved the car. Peter made every step of the transaction smoothly and efficiently. My wife and I were told that the car would have a final check by their mechanics and we could return in an hour to collect. We returned an hour later, to be told two new tyres had been fitted and new brake pads. The whole experience was made less stressful by Peter, for myself, a Yorkshireman, spending all that money. . I came across this garage whilst looking for a new car, came across one that had everything I wanted, so got in touch and drove 60 miles to view it the following day. Paid my deposit and picked it up the following week.
I dealt with Wayne who was fantastic, no pressure to purchase any extras or take their finance. Just gave me the details and let me decide myself.
Overall, very friendly and relaxing process from the first contact, right up to picking the car up.
Only had the car a few days, but I'm absolutely loving it.

Bought a 1 Series from this dealership in September. Reasonably priced but I had three issues - the old MOT had the wrong mileage logged (higher than current mileage), this should have been picked up by the salesman but wasn't. The power steering was very heavy and thirdly the engine coolant kept dropping to half its normal level after 30 miles. The garage agreed to take in the car and lent me a 2010 Seat Courtesy car (having told them I do a lot of mileage so needed a reliable car). It broke down 20 mins into my journey to work on M1 in outside lane, very scary. Needless to say the car has been returned and I had a full refund. Staff were helpful and apologetic, but I still had to wait 48 hours for my money to be returned despite them wanting me to pay over before I picked up the car!!

I had to cancel an intended car purchase. Despite this Ash was the most helpful and friendly.
Salesman I have ever spoken to. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of purchasing a car.

The salesperson Martin was really helpful and provided a friendly, professional and welcoming service. The car was prepared with care and a new rear tyre put on. Craig, in the service department was efficient , professional and courteous when sorting out the few jobs we requested (fixing a couple of radio buttons, balancing rear wheels, repairing stone chip on windowscreen). The whole buying experience was first rate and we recommend Chris W Roads to everyone. We are very happy with our new car.

All the staff played a part but Martin was very helpful. Overall experience was great, even though you are spending large amounts of money we where made to think it was the right decision and made to feel very comfortable nice to have no pressure.

Dodgy garage! Avoid! 4 times in 6 month time car was brought back for warranty repair (not repaired). 2+ months without car.
Incompetent mechanics. (not repaired 4 times, track rod end not tighten after change) Paid for the parts which were not changed. (Clutch, DMF)
Car supposed to be HPI clear without any insurance categories. Sure.
Almost all car re sprayed, so advice, get the machine to measure paint thickness or just use whiteboard magnets.
Agreed a refund after 4th attempt of repair and a month waste of time from Garage. (didn't had choice, had desperate need for the car) Of course, why he have to invest if he can waste the time and sell that car to someone else who don't understand much about cars.

Avoid. This garage is not worth that. They are friendly until they have to invest.

Well here goes ide like to say thank you to start with I collected my car on Friday ford focus I went in early on purpose to learn more about the place people I was dealing with I sat with a old gentleman waiting for his Renault capture warning light come on he was approuched by some one telling him car needed to go main dealer we've got a little run about for u sir so u and ya wife can still do ya bits bobs very warming approach that was first box ticked for me nice cup coffee clean waiting area then it was my turn a lady with dark curly hair and Tom came to me with a lovely smile hello Mr gelsthorpe shook my hand from then the ship set sail nothing and I mean nothing to much trouble I came away with two freinds as that's exactly how they made me feel laughing joking about stuff nothing to do with car proper banter with proper people box two ticked as I left I walked by garage workshop three engineers sweeping the floors mopping workshop I saw it as a sence pride late Fri not thinking leave it till morning the whole frame mind I sence sort it today box three ticked and probably think this is a long message exactly that I've given the people who game me the time day the same back good health be safe many thanks ady xxxx

absolutely amazing service, the way the whole process was dealt with was so professional! so trustworthy as the purchase was done within lockdown so the car had to be delivered before i could see it, but the car was in absolutely immaculate condition like i was told by the company! really would recommend, i am so pleased with my new car!

A shining example of how customer service can be at its best. No pressure from sales people, but no negotiation on prices, like most dealers. Process are good and finance options are competitive. In business for 40 years and I'm not surprised. Will definitely go back next time I need a car.

Went with my daughter to look at cars, the salesman was patronizing bordering on insulting! He kept referring to my daughter as a kid(she is 24) and suggested she didn't know what she wanted, and that she was choosing her car based on its colour! Excellent service,salesman explained everything in detail but no hard sell on things like warranty. Plenty of hot drinks nothing too much trouble. Large amount of stock to suit all pockets. Brilliant service from the start to finish. I purchased a Citroen C1 VTi a week ago and it's a ' brilliant little runner. We were offered a good price part exchange on our Astra Estate car. Martin was very professional and were very helpful with the purchase of the car and made us feel very welcome. On the day of collection everything went well and collected our car with ease. Just bought a Tuscon from here and after having looked round locally- South Yorkshire- I stumbled across the Roads website on the bet , and there it was. Genuinely very happy with everything. I would suggest this company looking for a reasonably priced second hand vehicle. Much of the stock appears to be ex-lease and well treated .

Did not buy a car from them sadly due to make/model not being avaliable at the time. However, i dealt with their sales team both on the phone and in person. They were extremely helpful with finance offers and knowledgable on the stock of cars they have owners/accidents/mileage ect but they also had quite an understanding on car needs .

I recently visited Chris W Roads to view a car I was interested in. As they have been in business for many years, this gave me assurance that they would be good to deal with.
I was not disappointed. I was offered a test drive, which was very thorough, enabling me to fully test the vehicle.
I went ahead with the purchase. The service provided is very professional, yet friendly. Wayne was very helpful, and offered sources for me to buy additional items that I wanted for the car. I was offered, in line with FCA regulations, GAP cover and a warranty, but this was not at all pushed onto me to purchase.
Collection day arrives, and again, everything goes smoothly and I drive away one very happy customer!
I would recommend Chris W Roads very highly, and I hope that, in the future, I can do business with them again.

As after trawling the internet and doing the rounds around the usual car supermarkets and independent garages. I have to say Martin at Chris W roads was excellent from start to finish and the service I receieved swing the buying decision in there favour. Friendly, absolutely not pushy in any way shape or form and kept me informed every step of the way. I've worked in a retail sales environment for 20 years and this buying experience was excellent. The garage is very presentable and has high quality presented cars on the forecourt which gives a reassuring feeling when buying from them that if something was to go wrong you'd be looked after.

Found them to be very helpful up to yet, bought a car from them and was treated well. Fingers crossed all is well with the vehicle and many a happy mile to come.

I came across Chris W Roads following some online research into local car dealerships and the remarkable reviews they were getting. They also had a car I was interested in. The receptionist was friendly and professional on the phone when I enquired and their sales people soon got back to me with a much fairer offer for my car to trade in than dealers I had previously chatted to. I popped down to the showroom and I have to say what a fantastic experience I had. Great sales guys in Andy and Matt, who were very open and honest with me and we soon had a good deal on the table. I later met their service / workshop manager, Craig, who was also friendly & most professional. To top it off, I spent time chatting to one of the Directors, Ash, who was brilliant and clearly has a passion for excellent customer service. This is by far the best car buying experience I've had, these chaps really do go the extra mile - and most importantly I've got a fantastic quality car.
