Childcare Resources Review

I had a daycare I really wanted my child to go to picked out for my appointment but the person who did my application and interview told me it wasn't enrolled in the program and wasn't on the list of daycares. Well turns out, yes, it is. They had space at the daycare and I could have been trying to get my child into that daycare for the past couple of days instead of looking at other daycares. They are now down to one space so fingers crossed

This agency has been a life saver for my daughter and granddaughter. I don't know what we would have done without their assistance. Please be patient with them. It does take about a week or more for them to get back to you regarding your eligibility for assistance. Very helpful and a God-send for those who need their help.

Child care resources is not worthy of one star. The staff is very unprofessional. Four months ago I had a meeting with a lady named F. Richardson-Rhodie and she deceived me and reassured that my child would get assistance because she has a disability, instead of being based totally on income. A few weeks later I received a letter saying that my child has been placed on a waiting list and that my family income exceeds the federal poverty guidelines. Once again I recently received a letter that funding is available. I thought about what I was previously told and that some funding would include funding for children with disabilities. Child care resources sets a date for a meeting with a date that can not be changed, and the time frame did not allow for me to give my employer a proper two weeks notice. No consideration is taken for working mothers. In reality, instead of helping a child, you have caused the mother to lose unnecessary time from work twice and the child suffers. In the future employees should make it CLEAR that an exceeded income will prevent a child from receiving services. Such a WASTE of time.

The overall front desk worker was so sweet and more helpful that most . But the Social workers that made a comment about me turning my paperwork In the last day of my Recertification is so unprofessional.

Horrible! I have been waiting for years for assistance. My child will be in Kindergarten soon and I've been waiting for "funding" since she was 2.5 yrs old, meanwhile friends and family get taken immediately.

Raven Fant is so ghetto and disrespectful. If you dont know what you're doing then quit or ask for extra training instead of being rude.

I can never get in contact with my assigned social worker. So if anything was to change, she would never know because she is never answering any of my calls!

CCRI has always been available for my questions and concerns since my first day of signing up with CCRI. I'm grateful for the assistance they provide my children throughout the year. Resources at your fingertips and always a response within 48 hours of leaving a message with your worker. Thank you CCRI for all you do for my family and countless others.

Submitted an application online. About 1 week later received a phone call from A. Wallace; telling me I needed to schedule an appointment, to complete paperwork. I was given late February. I told her I can get the documents to her that day. She saw me that next day. I m just waiting for an approval letter. She was very nice and patient and she also listened. The staff were very nice and answered all of my questions. A. Wallace also gave me tons of resources that were very helpful. She even gave my baby books. Thank you. You guys may not meet the requirements or you may not understand how the program works.

This is better than the lottery. What a blessing for my family.

This place is really disappointing. I was working and they just terminated my children daycare. So they backwards why not help a single mother who is working. They rather provide daycare as long as I'm sitting home doing nothing. Sad. How can someone get ahead when they are not really trying to help.
