Great park to walk the dogs love that its always clean has a great playground

This park is great for its smaller size. Lots to do here. They just added a couple of caged football (soccer) pitches where the tennis courts used to be. Good for Futsal if you bring the right ball. Have been coming here for years now.

Grew up 1 block away... attending school here from K-7th grade.

I played at this park almost daily... not sure if its still there, but it was one of the only parks that I have ever seen (even to this day), with a roller hockey rink within a very tall, completely enclosed gate. It was originally 1 of 3 of 4 tennis courts, and they converted it. Which was great because me and my friends no longer had to play roller hockey in our alley... that was super cool of the park district to do that.

Great memories... this was in the mid 90's to early 2000's and it was pretty safe. Only heard of a few altercations, but they were all late at night, past my curfew. I have no clue on how safe the park is now, since I moved out of the area around they beginning of 2003.
