Surprisingly rude customer service. Flat out said we re good and hung up when I tried to engage their services. Don t believe me that a small business could have this much disdain for customers? Just look at the blame shifting response to Chanda s complaint in the poor review below. I will not use this business even as a last resort and I m actively encouraging all my colleagues to do the same. Try a service like Velocity; one who values and respects potential customers.

I called Chicago Messenger Service from New York as I needed a package delivered from one of our customers to one of our employees staying in the city. I explained that I needed the package to be delivered as soon as possible, as the product would be showcased for potential buyers. CMS was nothing but helpful, courteous, and most of all FAST! Had my package delivered in 30 minutes from clear across town. Thank you to Amanda and the rest of the staff at Chicago Messenger!

I have been using CMS for about 8 years for my graphic arts company. During this time, I can honestly only remember one instance of a delivery not being within the quoted time-frame. Very easy to use, courteous and of good value. They service better than any other courier. - Brian W., Evanston, IL

I've used Chicago Messenger at 2 different jobs now and they have always been timely and considerate. The sales team is so nice! If you ever have a chance to speak to Dan in the Sales Department he goes the extra mile to help satisfy your messenger needs.

By far the best in Chicago, and the track record to prove it (they've been around for 50 years!) Forget the others.. I ALWAYS Choose CMS for our messenger work!

I ordered a courier for this morning to pick up at...

I ordered a courier for this morning to pick up at 8am. At 8:14am the courier was still not at the location, the courier stated he was 5 mins away on this call. The courier arrived at 8:26am in the lobby of the hotel.

My boss was furious that she sent the bellman away to when he came to get her bags because the courier should have already been there. She had to kick the box down the hallway and into the elevator down to the lobby. At that time the courier had just arrived at 8:26am. When I called back (at the same time the courier arrived at the hotel, they beeped in on my other line) the lady that answered said that my pick up time as "around" 8am, which is not true. Event phone call I repeatedly said 8am, because my boss has an appointment to get to and she was checking out of the hotel at the same time. She waited past the time she could waiting for the courier.

I requested a refund.

Wow, what an awesome experience during a very frus...

Wow, what an awesome experience during a very frustrating time! My daughter-in-law had to fly into Chicago from Florida to pick up a passport for a trip out of the country the very next day! I contacted Chicago Messenger Service to arrange for a courier to pick up the passport at the passport agency and take it to my daughter-in-law at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. I specifically worked with Michelle, who was exceptional and went out of her way to accommodate our needs. I must have called her 8 or 9 times to change the time or ask a question and she was professional and helpful during every call. Time was of the essence as my daughter-in-law had to immediately board another flight from Chicago back to Florida and had the courier been at all late she would have missed her return flight which would have caused her to miss her international flight! Michele and this service were superior and I would recommend them to anyone that has a need for a courier service in Chicago!!!

This company is amazing ! They can provide you with any type of delivery service you may need. We use Chicago Messenger Service for all of our delivery requirements, inbound & outbound deliveries. They provide the same great service for a 1 box delivery, to a full truck load delivery. This company also has storage programs available, GREAT COMPANY !

Have been using Chicago Messenger Service for over a year now & couldn't be happier that we made the switch. BIll is fantastic to work with and his staff is exceedingly professional. Packages and any delivery requests we have had from our business are always handled in a timely manner! Their drivers take extra care in handling valuable packages and we were impressed with the level of detail that is taken at the the point of delivery! Would highly recommend Chicago Messenger Service for any business or personal use.

Outstanding and reliable delivery and pickup and courier company. Excellent communication. They helped us with a pickle of a situation collecting a package. Worked with them mostly through email and worked great. Smart people. We will use them again!

I called them at 12:30 and told them I needed a pa...

I called them at 12:30 and told them I needed a package delivered to the suburbs before 4 PM (from downtown). I called at 2 PM because it hadn't been picked up. I just called for the status and they said it will be delivered before 6:30. My client closes at 5 PM. There was no sense of care or urgency on their end, and they offered to knock $10 off of my $75 bill. I just called them again and they said the best they could do is 5:30. Again, my client's doors lock at 5 PM. Don't use them if you have a deadline.
