I loved the veal and wine as well as friendly waiter

You can always wake me up for it: Chez Julien, Le Marais en Truffel, Truffel and Truffel: summer evening in Paris! We come there at least once every year from the Netherlands: perfect service, sublime food, fantastic ambiance

Nice truffle menu - and very good selection of wine.

Nice decor, but deplorable staff, we do not come to serve customers, after more than 15 minutes to wait while there were almost no customers, once on the departure we finally sit down and agree to take the glasses, the cutlery were dirty and the staff do not care about customers' mouths when they are kindly told. Do not put the heating when you ask them, slow staff and totally amateurs, it is even to ask if they want to work. A shame to have kind of "service" in a tourist country, foreigners must hallucinate of this mediocrity.

Pleasant service, pretty well-appointed terrace. Prices a bit high but the cocktails and food are delicious and well presented.

We booked in early as we had three young children with us but still wanted a nice meal. The food was fab, they split the risotto up on different plates for the kids before it ever reached the table and brought us a big bowl of fries when the kids tried to take ours. Great chateaubriand, risotto was delish, perfect wine to go with! Thanks! We will be back!

Super slow service despite comparably empty cafe. Did not try to make a big effort, even for Parisian standards. Check your bill, they tried to charge me a more expensive wine than we had!

Food was very good. They also have good wines. But We had to wait very long for our dishes. I like the location and service.

We had Christmas dinner at this restaurant and it was wonderful. Excellent service and the food was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Nice frame, professional staff, and a Chateaubriand of hell ... More than 30 the pieces but a real wonder.

Outrageous, luxury prices with just acceptable dishes, cold scallops without flavor ... no effort on training.
The framework is however not bad.

The toilets to access it must be spanned by people sitting upstairs ...

Good food and nice place on our 10th visit, but management failed to staff properly (or over booked) tonight so both customers and staff suffered. Last time for us.

Fantastic food, words can not describe how good it was.

Waiting 30 minutes to NOT be served is no. Sunday afternoon on the terrace, we are the third table to leave after waiting too long. To avoid.

I was almost put off by some of the reviews on here but I m so glad I gave it a go!

Raphael provided us with amazing service! He went through every item on the menu with us in English and was so polite and helpful!

Food was really nice and I enjoyed my experience! I had the risotto with truffle which was done to perfection.

I would definitely visit again on my returns to Paris.

PLEASE RUN ! AVOID THIS PLACE ! really bad service (paris style), food disgusting and expensive !! A trap for tourist.

A restaurant that fires higher than its standing. Only positive point: its pretty terrace. Value for money very unfavorable. Amateur service, unfit staff. Products of very average range. Decoration that wants to be neat but that is actually quite old.

Very nice atmosphere with very good, professional and very friendly service. Also our dog would receive princely. Good quality food. Always my pleasure.

The cook could not be in good shape that day but the dishes were not quite fair. The seasonings are missing on some dishes, no research on the links on the same dish, we do not understand the story, a lifeless tuna tartare but which is caught up with something else just after.
The reception is catastrophic, however, the person who takes care of placing you is obsessed with optimizing the placement of guests. The service is courteous and friendly, a good point with the place which is truly exceptional, especially in summer.

Nice setting and super nice service.
We accidentally stopped at this place with a friend. A cafe with a very Parisian decor and a really adorable and smiling waiter. We ordered 2 glasses of Bordeaux - very good - and a plate of cheese. All served outside on a beautiful white tablecloth. So beautiful that we made a photo! I do not put 5 because it is not given ... But I put 5 stars to the server who took care of us, today, Sunday!

A very good time spent tonight "Chez Julien" quality cuisine a very nice wine list. Count on average 15 to 20 for a starter 35 for a main course and 15 for a dessert. For a special occasion I recommend this place.

A unique terrace, a lot of benevolence and the quality of the plate is there. Champagne Deutz Excellent. To recommend !

Personally not very "Costes", this one stands out thanks to its very pleasant terrace; so 4 * in summer, 2 * in winter (any indoor room).
A service that makes sense is good (am I privileged?) And dishes are under control, there are "only" tariffs that sin. Indeed, wines and dishes (the latter not below 30 ) can turn dizzy and become quickly crippling ... unless you want to take the air during an episode of Paris heat wave and stroll during his dinner; there the place becomes very good.

A friend of ours recommended Chez Julian and booked the table for us.

The location is great and thanks to the lovely weather, we were able to sit outside. Loads of other customers were doing the same and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed.

Out waitress was attentive and helped by speaking some English for us. The menu was varied but not too long and the wine list was great. All 5 of us were very happy with our choices and we had a great evening.

This is not a cheap meal out by any standards but for a special event, it is perfect.

Food is good enough but prices very stiff for what comes in your plate. Chateaubriand served very simply in a white plate with your fries and sauce. It's not very enticing. Amazing desserts and lovely decor and location in Paris.
