Great zoo, with loads of variety of animals great to take your kids and just a all round great day out.

Been members for few years now and always love to "pop" in and see new animals/attractions

This place is just awesome, the animals are amazing, so much to see. A wonderful day out, some animals I've not seen before so it was very exciting.

Brilliant zoo, conservation work fantastic, lot's of babies born so they are doing fantastic work. Very informative and reasonable price for the size of the zoo. Staff really friendly.

A great day for all the family. Highly recommended!

Wonderful family attraction. Arrive early to avoid over crowding and if likely to visit multiple times a year get a family pass, great value.

Chester zoo is a great place, we have a family membership and it's one of the best things we did. Great for all ages.

Absolutely fab! Loved it, and was so happy to see the sloths! The only thing that could make it better is if you gave history on the animals how they were acquired and what their names were etc, would be lovely!
Food was a bit mediocre but met my expectations for the kind of place it is food wise, ice creams were good but overpriced.

Haven't been for a while but it just seems to get better and better.
New enclosures for animals and they are building new ones all the time.
Well worth a visit and I am not going to leave it as long next time.

Big zoo , also very crowded . Word of advice : download their all , can't buy maps of the zoo there .

A brilliant day out,very clean and the animals looked well looked after.

Took grandchildren had a great day, lunch was very disappointing five of us ate pie or burger chips an peas nobody finished meal, three of us hardly ate anything it was horrible and to top it off it was served in a box to eat in.

Great animals and enclosures but catering dreadful I suggest take a picnic

Great family day out, facilities were good although a couple of things were closed due to Covid restrictions. Zoo was very well maintained and clean.

Brilliant no matter what time of the year. Come rain or shine, cold or hot. Kids love it.

Great day out good for kids great food and it's a really relaxing day out to enjoy looking at animals and good experience days such as meerkats and penguins and many more. If your the age of eighteen you can be a keeper for a day.

I love Chester Zoo but this visit was a let down . So many pens empty with nothing in them . Even the ones that had animals in were either asleep or hiding . The aquarium was very mundane just full of tiny uninteresting fish mainly . Food as you'd expect grossly over priced but the fish and chip shop with only 6-7 people in front of us took nearly an hour to get served with just chips . None of the vinegar bottles had vinegar and all of the sauce had gone except BBQ sauce and this was only at 1pm. So over all it was very disappointing.

One of the best in the UK. Very well organised and there is so much to do and see. The staff is very helpful and friendly too. My kids loved it.

We had a wonderful time. Animals were all out. Loved the baby rhino and all the giraffes

Went on Friday to see the Laterns, had a brilliant time, really interactive and definitely worth the money! Will be back next year!

It was a really good day out. Gutted that we didn't see any tigers

Had an amazing day here. Spent around 4 hours.
Sign posting could be better to ensure you don't miss anything though.
We stopped at the cafe for a coffee and snack and prices were reasonable.
The animals look happy and have spacious enclosures.

Creative, natural looking environments. Most animals are easy to see (except jaguars). Free map with tickets is really helpful. The only part I found a bit disappointing was the aquarium, which seems a bit dated to me.

Family day out. My little boy loved it. The zebras where right up by the wall.

I really enjoyed today was refreshing to be out with family .

The layout of the zoo is great, with the maps they provide it turns the place into a bit of a treasure hunt to find all the animals you want to see and the kids loved it. Found the range of animals a bit disappointing.

I was disappointed with all the animals not been out we know the money is for the animals but was disappointed

I hosted a corporate party at the zoo in July of 2019 and absolutely loved it.

Having the entire zoo to ourselves, and a private safari was so special. The pub was fantastic and the staff was very accommodating. Everyone absolutely loved the experience.

Beyond that, the zoo is truly fantastic. One minor complaint for those in wheelchairs. There are some boardwalks which are very bumpy and uncomfortable according to one of our guests.
