This was a nice way to spend an afternoon. Taking the garden map and locating all the herbs and there uses.
Lovely little market wish we could have seen it in the spring when the labyrinth was in full bloom
The best cherry strudel, turnovers, and pie anywhere in my opinion! Also a very good lunch served in the barn--loved the grilled brie, turkey, and cherry jam sandwich.
Cherries cherries and more cherries. Wonderful fruits and veggies that are in season.
Went to fish boil and the lumberjack breakfast. Great story telling and learning experience.
Everyone was so friendly! This place is adorable and has unique merchandise! I'm so glad we stopped!
Cherry Point has been a family staple for years, and I don't think that will ever change. We always spend more than we intend, but we never regret it. The food and snacks are always fresh, and we have literally never been disappointed (we've been coming for 16 years).
Love the place and the Fish boil is the best been there for 2 of them were Great. And loved the story of the fish boil. And the store is allways Great.
Not a winery. Tiny shop with a few pastries and some Michigan tchotchke. Didn't seem very clean. But, the people were nice
Was a good experiance, food was good. Plants looked well grown, very pretty.
As a mobile DJ since the mid 70's, I've had the pleasure of providing entertainment at hundreds of locations in many parts of Michigan, and I'm pleased to experience a gem, hidden in the back roads of West Michigan. Cherry Point's staff was professional & extremely courteous to other vendors & especially the guests. This rustic location is ideal for a destination wedding couple who wants to get away from the big cities (Chicago) & experience something out of the ordinary. The fish boil is something to experience & their labyrinth is huge. I loved the experience!
This is a farm with a beautiful herb garden. The Lavender Labyrinth seems misleading to me. There are rows of the plants but you don't walk thru them and it is a smaller area than the pictures make it seem. We still enjoyed our visit but would not have spent 2 days in the area thinking this would be a all day activity. You can see it all in 1-2 hours.
Loved the labyrinth. The market was a little pricey especially the cherry pie.
I love this place and come here every time I visit the area to see the beautiful garden and produce. I recently attended a fish boil as well and would highly recommend it. It was fun and had delicious food.
This is a wonderful place to stop and picnic with the kids. I love the cherry muffins in the shop. When the lavendar is in bloom the whole area smells so amazing.
Love this place, a must stop spot! Best cherry jam I've ever tasted.
Cutest little place bought jams cherry and raspberry also bought a cherry Danish was delicious!
Besides the good baked goods and area crafts/arts, the herb garden was amazing . Too bad the cold got to the lavender, so the labyrinth was well, not there. Ask about the summer fish boils. Great experience, food and history lesson. BYOB, coffee and lemonade served with the meal. Winery around the corner, if you forget
Best cherry turnovers ever! This is my 2nd time at this darling little market and I absolutely love it. Thank you
This is the location of the famous lavender labyrinth. The labyrinth is free! The lavender seems to be in a state of replanting so it's not as regular as it is designed for. But it is definitely worth the stop if you are near! Stoop down to the lavender to activate it to smell it. It is wonderful. I love the fragrance of lavender, our yoga instructor places some lavender essential oils on our neck during savasana. I love it! The flower garden in the center of the labyrinth is wonderful.
They sell excellent cherries and cherry strudel and many other treats. They serve lunch, but you need reservations, and we didn't do that.
Nice Staff and great selection of produce and baked goods !!
It is probably very beautiful not unfortunately went at a time where the lavender was not in bloom
Wonderful place for a stroll and to purchase local produce, homemade baked goods and souvenirs, and the owner Barbara is wonderful.
Cute garden, but the market didn't have a lot of interesting items.
The people are very nice and the food is all home made
Worth the trip! Great baked goods in addition to a fabulous herb garden.
I do NOT wear a mask and it was mandatory... Lady was nice and offered to run and get what I wanted. Lavender wasn't in bloom yet. Call if that's what you are going for. :)
Large fruit and vegetable stands. Beautiful gardens and orchards.
So we were not in a hurry, but an hour and a half wait for food was a bit much. We watched family that was in front of us in line, finish their meal. We must be next, but no we were not, checked with one and only server, only to be told two more orders were before us! Got our money back and left the building!!!
Went to fish boil a Saturday evening. The herb garden is beautiful and I loved that they had a guide book for all the plants. Dinner was amazing. The cole slaw was delicious. The only negative is that all the tables are close to the road and every time a car went by it was difficult to hear any of the conversation. Also, it's BYOB if you want wine or beer.
Always a pleasure to stop by here on the way to Silver Lake.
Nice little farm market with additional things to see. Highly recommend!
This is a very pretty place, lots of beautiful lavender and other herbs. Nice little shop also.
Beautiful flowers and the gift shop/farmers market had lots of cool goodies.
The herb/flower garden is gorgeous and worth a stop. The whitefish chowder and grilled cheese were pretty tasty, if a smidge pricey. Cherry pie didn t do it for me.
Love this place, wish their products came gluten free (breads), but everything is so good.
Beautiful herb garden and delicious lunch. Try the grilled turkey and brie sandwich that is spread with a bit of their cherry jam!
Beautiful gardens inside the labyrinth! We drove two hours to see, and even though the lavender had been destroyed (by the weather) and replaced in 2019, it was still amazing to see. Coupled with the delicious cherry strudel and turnovers, it was well worth the drive!
Adorable little country store with a HUGE herb and lavender garden. Check out their baked goods and lavender honey - so good!
There is a nice little word garden, a garden labyrinth, and a shop filled with fresh-made baked goods, maple syrup, and fresh-picked cherries and raspberries. There is also cherry trees out back.
Great little market with good backed goods and a cool lavender garden.
We go here every year and it's the best! They have a lunch that we tried this year and it was amazing. We plan to go back before our trip is over!
Awesome cherry strudel & pie, and super friendly staff. They are also doing great managing the market & sandwich shop during the pandemic - super clean, everyone masked-up, hand sanitizer at the entrance. Been coming here for 30 years and it just keeps getting better!
I think this place would be beyond amazing.... during the full bloom. The 19th of August was just a bit too late. Love the market store though. Wonderful homemade items for sale!
Me and my girlfriend traveled to Mears for a getaway trip and stopped at Cherry Point Farm because the Lavender Labyrinth was on our list of site's to see. We really enjoyed our time, despite the lavender being absent this year. The market was fun and very cute. All of their baked goods are phenomenal. Super friendly staff. Will definitely go back and support their business.
I enjoyed my visit here! The Labyrinth is beautiful and full of lots of different flowers and herbs. The lavender field is quite impressive though not as enormous as the picture makes it look. The gift shop has lots of great things for sale, (sourvineers, baked goods, and lots of produce) though the prices are a bit high. The baked goods are delicious: the bread was tasty and reasonably-priced ($4) and the Cherry muffins are to die for! (Moist, tart & sweet, but not too much so.) I would highly recommend!!!! On Sundays they have a brunch that you can make reservations to attend and they also have a lunch menu.
Note that if you are making a purchase of less than $5, you will need cash. I went with a friend whon didn't happen to have cash on her, and the lady at the register gave her a bit of a lecture about it.
Other than that, I would say this is a fun place to visit!
Read 5 books by Barbara e bull owner of cherry point. None of her books are in the englewood fl library where I winter.
Need help getting books like "cloud cottage" down here. I live in silver lake and eat cherry turnovers from the point.
Tasty, bread fish boils , nice scenery it's got it all!
It has a lavender labrinth to walk through along with herbs and other flowers. Beautiful lavender. A place to have lunch and a nice gift shop.
Love this little shop with excellent baked goods. I recommend the blueberry pastry, too!
Nice place to visit but items to buy I find too expensive. Fresh cherries were $8 a quart???I went cherry picking the other day for $1.80/lb picked was $2.50. I didn't dare ask how much the pastries we're.
The owner chatted with us for quite so time and was very gracious.
The herb garden and lavender labyrinth are breath taking! Attend a fish boil and take home some country grain bread, handmade small batch jam, and of course strudels!
The herb garden is so neat! It was worth the 1 hr trip there.
We stop by the Cherry Point Market every summer for the fish boil, which is a great experience, sitting at picnic tables with other families and enjoying drinks (BYO) under the maple trees. The whitefish is fantastic, as are the supporting cast - potatoes, garlic bread, onions, and cherry pie. I would also highly recommend purchasing the cherry strudel, a great breakfast pastry, and the cherry doughnuts are pretty good, too. The labyrinth is an herb garden this is nice experience to just wander through and smell all the various plants that grow there.
Wonderful little roadside farmers market. Nice people
Best Homemade bread and absolute best Cherry Turnovers. Been going there 44 yrs. one of my favorite stops when going to Silver Lake.
It was a pretty decent place but I thought they were a little pricey
An herb garden, a bakery, a lavender labyrinth, a whimisical rock garden... and they serve a fish boil.
Beautiful spacious facility with petting zoo, country store, seed sales, produce market and children's play area. Clean and wonderful to visit and shop!!
It wss unique beauitful smelled amazing lovley storr and produce.
Very beautiful for pictures, and great fruit. My current profile picture for my account, I took in the lavender fields.
We went for the lavender labyrinth and the fish boil this time. Their cherry products and and farm market is always nice!
A bit disappointing. The pictures of the lavender and herb garden on the website must have been taken awhile ago. It did not look like that when we were there this summer. Hardly any produce available and it was all horribly overpriced. We drove almost three hours to visit what we thought was going to be an amazing garden, luckily there are a lot of other fun things to do in this area.
What a great cozy place! Epic grilled cheese , cherry pie and cherry strudel!
Herb garden and lavender(got hit by polar vortex of 2019). Nice fruit and bakery. Great tasting fudge.
The lavender was in bloom and looked and smelled so nice. The bakery items were very good.
The cherry turnovers and strudel were delicious (heads up for tree nut allergies...there are almonds in both). The lady at the register was friendly but the younger gal stocking shelves looked at me like I was an alien when I asked her a simple question. It was my first time ever visiting and I am sorry I asked if you had frozen cherry baked goods (there were blueberry frozen goods so I thought this was a logical question).
One of our favorite places to stop in every summer. We like the fresh bread and the fresh picked cherries we can find here. It's also a nice place to pick up post cards, they have a nice variety. The staff is friendly and there's plenty of parking. They so have a nice collection of shirts and other trinkets to browse and buy.
A truly wonderful experience, great food and wonderful lavender maze gardens
Love the dry river bed poetry rocks! Beautiful labyrinth!
