While driving home from there in our Vue, the oil light came on, i called back and was told to get an oil change and we would be reimbursed. A month later nothing. Also we were promised the side molding on door ...... nothing received yet......

Update , i thought i had deleted the bad review after receiving check for the oil change. The wrong part was sent the first time BUT correct part was sent after being notified. My review is 4 stars only because of the oil light which eventually went out. In my opinion if your warranty covers "oil lubricated parts, make sure the oil is top off. LOVING THE SUV

Hey there kind of late with my review but as they say better late than never. My purchase was back in March 2018, The vehicle I purchased is still running strong. Carey was very attentive and from the moment we spoke on the phone to when I showed up to see the car. It was a worry free pressure free puechase. Definitely recommending Cherner Bros. To friends and family and if I have any car purchases on the future I'll be sure to stop by Cherner Bros first.

I recently bought a used car here and I had a wonderful experience. They were able to provide me all the information I needed as a first time buyer and accommodated my limited time slots, staying a few minutes after their closing time to answer any and all questions I had. It never felt like the salespeople were trying to convince me to pay more or swindle me out of a good deal. Ray was the salesperson I worked with and he was wonderful. Very good response rate and I ended up with a great car and reliable service.

Amazing service. Amazing Dealership.I had a 2013 Ford Fusion that I was looking to trade in for a SUV. After looking and looking I came across a 2013 Ford Explorer online and it was the exact car we were looking for! I happen to pass buy the dealership on my way to work and stop to ask about the car. They were super friendly and nice as I walk into the dealership! They told me I could test drive it and I was supprized I didn t even need an appointment to test drive it. They offered my a better than good deal and the next day I drove off with my new car. The key they gave me was broken but offered to get me a new one. Other than that I really recommend this dealership and hope to work with them again!

This is a true family-owned business. Everyone there is honest and transparent about pricing and the sales process. I got exactly what I expected for my trade and got a great deal on a very nice car. The only struggle is the roads in the area get pretty congested so test driving can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't familiar with the area. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used car.

Checked out a truck that seemed ok on the surface. Went and checked it out and found that the floor on the drivers side was wet. They claimed they had no idea about it but there were two all weather mats stacked on top of each other, the bottom one was dripping. The truck had already been "inspected" so their inspectors are either incompetent or they were trying to hide it. They told me they were going to get it checked out and they would inform me when the source of the leak was located and fixed. The next thing I knew I was getting an email saying the truck had been sold. Seems pretty fishy to me. Hope the poor sap who bought it was made aware of the leak and the rusted floor board.

I had a terrific experience buying a car from Steve - they took care of all paperwork and saved me a trip to the MVA. Steve even made a follow-up call, I am very impressed. HIGHLY recommend!

The was the best experience I have had at a car dealership. All the staff was extremely responsive to me. I wold recommend buy a car from Cherner Brothers.

Bought a 2008 BMW 335xi from them. The price was competitive, around $17,400. The trade in value for my 2008 328xi was a little low $12,250. The car needed a coil, oxygen sensor, front bushings and some maintenance items were neglected. They offered me $400 towards the repairs or I could back out of the deal. I was just down for the day so their mechanic couldn't rectify any of the problems. I took the $400 and put about $4000 into the car, some of it elective. Overall, I would say that it was a poor deal because so much needed attention. My advice is to take the car to a mechanic before buying it.

Made an appointment, had everything set to see a specific car, drove 50 minutes just to arrive there and be told the car was sold 30 minutes ago Would of been nice to have been told that. Also would of been nice if they offered to show us other cars, but They couldn t even do that. Not even an apology.

We placed an ad on Craigslist for our car. Cherner Brothers, without indicating they were part of a car dealership, inquired about buying it and came to our house.

Two people showed up, Carey and another person, who I will refer from here on as the "angry guy." They did not say what dealership or company they represented. They seemed very unhappy about our car and some issues with the paint job. The "angry guy" repeatedly asserted that the door had been replaced and that the car had significant damage.

After repeated questions (which began to feel like an interrogation), I finally asked if they wanted to buy the car or not. The "angry guy" said he did not. Not satisfied to leave our unpleasant interaction there, he then said that I had been dishonest with him and should be more forthcoming in the future. (Thanks!) I should also mention that at the same time as he told me our car was terrible, the "angry guy" repeatedly also offered a low-ball price.

It is not every day that used-car salespeople, under pretenses, arrive at my home and insult me. But yesterday was a special day. I believe these people are unprofessional and are using intimidation and insults to try to negotiate better deals for their car lot. And I am quite certain if there is anyone who needs to be wary in dealing with them, it is you and I, the consumers of Yelp.

PS, this was our review from Yelp. Afterwards, we went to their site where they bill themselves as "The most friendly car dealership in America." Hahahaha.

You can t put a value on his knowledge of the car business. He guided me to a Lexus LS460 that is BETTER than IDEAL. The car is in pristine condition at a great price.

Actually, it's Frank . . . but I've never been able to figure out how to get Google to recognize me. Maybe they just don't wanna. At age 75, I have bought almost as many cars as I am years old, since I began at about 20. The experience with Cherner has been better than any other car-buying experience: a very good, friendly, and professional group of people.

I have been looking for a used car for my college son. After many frustrating visits to local dealers, I say Cherner had the car I was looking for. I called, Carey answered and immediately gave me his best price, negotiated the trade in value and set up a delivery date. It was a wonderful experience.

Best customer service. They keep their words. My car has been in good shape. I will always recommend Cherner Bros and will buy my next car from them also!

Shady car dealer. Complete trash. Car wasn't state inspected, had cables holding up the front bumper, lights near the plate were all loose, claimed to never had an accident yet the VIN on the left side of the car wasn't present showing it had been in an accident and the hood had been changed due to the fact it wasn't level. To top it all off the customer service was just as trashy as the office. Angry workers who don't seem to care about customers in general. No respect and no kindness. Oh and a 30 day warrenty on a car that had all these scratches and dent literally all around the car that again WASN'T STATE INSPECTED.

I am SOOOO pleased with the service and care that I have received from everyone at Cherner Brothers. They brought an Explorer to me to test drive then came back and brought me to the dealership to choose what I wanted. They listened to what I wanted, they let me choose what I wanted to test drive and I fell in love with a Durango. Great customer service good down to earth people never felt like I was being sold anything. My only one complaint if I had to give a complaint would be the prices are fairly firm not a lot of wiggle room. I had an awesome experience at Cherner Brothers, from the second I walked in the door, I was greeted and talking with a salesman about my car right away. I had been to 7 other dealerships in 2 days, sitting in their waiting rooms drinking lukewarm coffee, then getting the run around from multiple salespeople was getting old. I felt more like a number than a person. I walked into Cherner and immediately felt like my time mattered. I had 2 better offers from a nationwide chain dealership and another local establishment, but chose Cherner because of their superior customer service. Steve was brutally honest from the start about the current car sales climate and still gave me a fair deal. When I decided to return to Cherner to finish my sale it was quick and easy, thanks again to Steve, Laura, Carey and the rest of the team at Cherner Brothers.

The best-used auto dealership ever. When you think of buying a car from a used auto dealer, you think sleazy and untrustworthy; this is the total opposite with Cherner Brother. They are the most honest ad friendliest auto dealer I have ever dealt done business with. I bought my car online sight unseen, and they never gave me a reason not to trust them throughout the whole process. They answered my call when I had a question about the vehicle and were very text friendly from start to finish, which is a huge plus due to work. I live 2 hours away from the dealership, and they were able to arrange to deliver the car right to my door without me having to drive 2 hours to go pick it up. They come highly recommended from me, and this is not a paid advertisement but a highly satisfied customer who highly recommends them.

Terrible Service. Claimed their vehicles are Maryland Inspected yet the vehicle I purchased wouldn t start after the first day. I had to leave my car with a mechanic overnight, being told my vehicle would be ready the next morning yet I didn t receive it until 4pm. I am left with multiple repairs when all of these mechanical issues should ve been taken care of prior to having the vehicle up for sale to the public. The salesman I dealt with attempted to calm me down by saying the repairs would be free... yet I was reassured there were no issues with my vehicle. 0/10 would not recommend purchasing a car from this place, Not trustworthy what so ever!

No nonsense car buying experience. When a salesman walked up to me, I asked for an out-the-door price. He promptly returned with a line-by-line print out of the cost. Their final price is very close (just a few hundred dollars less) to the advertised price- there was not thousands of dollars in hidden fees. I made a simple counter-offer and they said ok. I got financing there at a decent rate. I found a small problem with the car and they fixed it promptly. Overall, I couldn't be happier.

I was excited because the Honda Pilot 2014 that I wanted was in great condition and I believe that the people here have good intentions. I was there on a Saturday but they appraised my current vehicle too low and so I went to go find someone who would appraise my vehicle higher (which I did, $2,100 higher). But I still really wanted the Honda Pilot and called the owner back on a Wednesday. I explained that I found a higher price on my appraisal but I d still like to get the Honda just not trade my current car in with them. We had a good conversation and he said he would call me back. He did not. Today I see that my credit had been pulled and when I call them back the gentleman who answered the phone said that the owner was so busy yesterday, the car was no longer available because someone put a deposit yesterday AFTER I spoke with him, and the finance manager must have just pulled my credit because he/she is working from home right now. Very poor communication and I m extremely upset that my credit was pulled and yes, I understand first come first serve on the vehicle but somebody could ve told me ESPECIALLY because I spoke to him hours before my credit was pulled. Unacceptable.

Just got a 2014 Subaru Forester XT from this place. I was buying from out of state so I never got to look at the car in person, which I knew wasn't the smartest thing but I looked at the reviews of this dealership and it seemed trustworthy. I had the car shipped out to me and when it arrived it was covered in cracks and scratches, no wonder the quality of the pictures were so poor. The gas light was also on. I was looking all over for a BLACK Forester XT and the dealer had listed this car's color under black and guess what, the car color is wrong.

Great pre owned car dealership. I have been trying to purchase a new car for the past few months as my old Toyota Sienna mini van is literally falling apart. I haven't bought a new car since 2002 so this is A big step for me.

I've looked at many of the cars at the Cherner's and have test driven about 7 so far. I really appreciate that they allow customers to drive the cars without a salesperson coming along. It is so much more comfortable that way. I've always found it rather awkward to drive around with a total stranger. Also I live nearby and know the streets well. There is an excellent loop to drive down Metropolitan then turn by the Mormon Temple and cruise down Beach Drive to Kensington Parkway and back to the car drslership.During my car quest l've been to some other dealerships in MD and VA where my experience has not been very good at all.

At Cherner's the people have been extremely pleasant and patient with my indecisiveness. I was worried they were getting annoyed with me, but the salesperson said that so far every car I've driven has sold, so I'm welcome to keep trying out their cars. I'm really trying to buy a car from them I just haven't found the right one yet!
