This resteraunt is is new to Benton area. We came in with a party of over 20. They didn't add gratuity to ticket which I like because you get to tip based on service. The service was great they had 3 servers handling our party and no one went without. The portions we're huge and the price was low. I had the Fajita Taco Salad and I took a third of it home. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. They serve alcohol and have lots of outdoor seating to. They also have plenty of flat screens to watch sports on also. I highly recommend this resteraunt. I will add pics and next visit.

Got a pitcher of margaritas for $20 - literally no tequila in the mixer at all when complained the server said it wasn't the first time that he's heard that. Refused to refund. Food was good, but considering the amount of Mexican places in Benton I'd recommend going elsewhere.

My entree was excellent (shrimp enchiladas), but my wife's beef burrito was very bland. The queso is very good and the place has a nice, open atmosphere. It took a while to get the ticket, and the first one was completely wrong (assumed we simply got someone else's by accident), but once I finally got the right ticket, I noticed we were charged for 2 glasses of original punch (my wife ordered water). When I asked about this, the waitress explained that the manager pointed out refills on the house punch aren't free, and when she offered to refill my drink, she didn't know that. Just fair warning to anyone else-- There are at least 2 other local mexican food venues within 5 minutes of this place in Benton that don't charge for refills on house punch, so if you eat here, just order water, tea or a soft drink, instead.

Overall, it was an ok experience, and we had to try it for the novelty, but it doesn't really compete with the local place you can see just across the interstate from the parking lot.

Great service. Everything we had was good except the street corn. Might be a personal thing with me but I love street corn and this had something about it that I really did not like. Curious how others feel. Queso and salsa was good but not a big fan of the chips. I still will go back..

I'm not usually impressed with many Mexican food restaurants, since I grew up with Mexican food at home, but this please was very good! I was impressed with the selection and my carne asada plate was delicious. This place is very busy on a Friday night so be prepared to wait or sit outside. Happy hour drinks were good. A bit pricy menu items, but good. There was mariachi on Friday. Would likely go again and would recommend!

The atmosphere is relaxed and festive. Food is tasty with little kick if your choose. Dessert selection is good with something for churros lovers. Drink selection and preperation are great. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. Will definitely be returning!

My wife and I visited for our first time last night, joining some friends for dinner and drinks. The service was great, we recognized our waitress from another restaurant we frequent and really like her.
My wife and I initially ordered the house margaritas on the rocks with salt. After a few sips I wanted to get my wife's opinion on the flavor, or lack of. We agreed that the taste was extremely watered down and little to no tartness, sweetness, citrus, nothing. Upon mention to our waitress she immediately took them back saying she would get it taken care of. Our glasses were brought back full but there was absolutely no change in taste. That is absolutely no fault to our wonderful waitress. We decided not to complain any further and finished our drinks. One of our friends ordered something called La La something ??? The menu says it contains tequila, gin, triple sec, red wine, served in a wine glass at $9. Six at our table, all agreed, horrible drink, Yuck. Interesting looking items on menu, everyone seemed very friendly. Not sure we will be going back.
We ordered tacos which were okay, nothing special, okay.

The food is very good. The atmosphere is laid back. They can accommodate a party of 15+ very easily with 24 hour notice. Joe(Chepe) is the owner and he is always out on the floor, really nice guy.

This was our first of what will be many visits. The service was excellent as was the food. The flavor. freshness, and portions all checked high on our experience. The salsa had a nice bite without being too spicy for my wife. Our server was very busy but he never missed a beat and drinks stayed full. The fried ice cream was a treat not normally ordered and it was good. All of us had the Enchiladas Tripicas which really was made well.

Recently visited Chepe's for the first time. Many things led us to believe it's owned by the same people who have Salsa's. The food as similar and equally delicious. Good service though our waitress go a bit harried by the crowd before she could bring our check. We'll go back for another visit soon.

The enchiladas was dry.

The enchiladas was dry.
The salsa was hot if you like that.
The cheese dip was very good.
There was no waitress around when we needed her. Had to go to the door to get my check, to pay out. Suppose to pay at the table. Will not be back

Had the pleasure of dining there for the first time last week. I ordered Molcajete. If someone has never had Molcajete it is treat for the inquisitive palate. My order was combination fajitas. They are served in mortar that is heated to a very high temperature to keep the fajitas mixture warm. Cactus is also included, which is very tasty. I would recommend this dish to those who are adventurous and have a big appetite.

I've never ate here before so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the grilled steak with onions, bell peppers and shrimp. I told the waitress medium rare. The first steak came out and the thickness reminded me of a Waffle House steak. The steak was cooked well done. I attempted to cut the steak and I honestly thought the steak knife would bend. I was finally able to cut/tear a small piece to try. It was extremely hard and had a nutty flavor to it. The nice waitress ask me in her best English how was it.. I told her about the steak and they sent it back. Another steak was brought out about 15 minutes later. It was properly cook but again reminded me of a waffle House steak. The taste was okay. In essence if you want a good steak go to Texas Roadhouse right down the road. My wife ordered a taco salad that looked fresh when it was brought out. But it turned into a soupy mess that was not good at all. SOOOOO. The steaks are not good and overly priced at $15 and the taco salad tastes like a soup burrito. The avocado dip was good . I don't think I will be back because Saline County has like 300 Mexican restaurants to choose from.

Nothing fancy inside still looks like previous restaurants just with their touch and adding outside patio's. The chips are ok not the best and the sauce man had way way to much onion flavor and chunks of it in the sauce, however it had a nice kick to it but had better at other places. We waited for a long time to get our food and the portions are small and compared to other place their portion they give lot more and what is sad that my margarita cost more then my meal and hardly in alcohol and it's watery. The large drink is about a medium size in comparison to other restaurants around. Sad thing this was our 1st experience and we probably won't go back. So don't expect to much from this place.

It was a great experience. We had dinner with friends out on the open patio. Service was fast and friendly. Food was even better. It was our friends daughter's birthday and a bunch of the serving staff came over and sang to her and brought her a free sopapilla. Definitely will be added to our list of favorites.

Came on a busy Saturday for lunch but were seated right away. Our server was very busy taking care of a large group next to us but never forgot about it. The food is really top notch and ranks among some of the best Mexican I've ever had, even having lived in California. We had Molcajete (which you don't see at many Mexican restaurants) and Burrito Verde, both had deep flavor that we really loved. Just beware things tend to run a bit spicy here compared to most. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely delicious! Chips are sturdy, salsa is spot on, guacamole fresh and delicious. Both entrees were terrific; veggie fajitas were heaped with vegetables and seafood fajitas were surprisingly full of shrimp, crab and scallops. Prices were very reasonable, service was excellent, and they have a fantastic drink menu. Will definitely be back!

The food is good and the salsa is the best. The only problem with this visit was the slimy and just washed with chemical lettuce. It was not edible and when I let them know the lady said she would tell them in the kitchen.... that was it.
