My husband and I ate here today for the first time! We ordered fajitas, chicken and beef and omgoodness, they were delish. The food tasted fresh and the portions were large. The staff was wonderful...very friendly! We will be eating here again!

Not cheap. Not hot. Just barely ok.

The ceviche tower was a great way to get this experience started. The staff was kind and on point with their service. Probably one of the best chile relleno's I have had in the central Arkansas area.

It was so good even the person had a question about someone else. That restaurant is so good. This realized the Mexican Restaurant has a new place within the type of the restaurant. Finally it's was the restaurant by itself.

Excellent food. Authentic Mexican and wide variety. We go there frequently. It's usually pretty quick seating, as they have room indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff.

First visit. Arrived before noon on a holiday. Fast service, friendly staff, great food. Just spicy enough! I had the enchilada Mexicano and my spouse had the steak ranchero. The ranchero sauce has a bite to it if you prefer milder fare. We will come back again.

Whoever s cooking in the back knows how to season food. My only complaint, which impacted no stars, was the service at the bar and the soggy street corn. Excellent table side service with really good flavors.

Margarita was very salty, so was the chicken. Had to ask for utensils 5 minutes later got a fork.

I'm not sure what happened to this place or maybe it's just the night time management but this place has really went down from when they first opened. Food was luke warm at best. Chips were definitely cooked in old grease. We got put on the patio at night, in chilly weather, and served bottom tier food. 2 stars only because the server was decent.

Great food fast service salsa and chips are good. I love the chilli relleno!!! Fajitas are good fajitas taco salad is good fresh taste. Tacos are great especially the street tacos I do plan on going back soon.

WE are spanish and have eaten at a lot of good Mexican restaurants. This is by far the BEST we have ever had period. We were blown away by the food. It is well worth eating there. We stopped twice at same place . Traveling west then back east.

My 1st experience wasn't so great... but I've been back a couple times anyway and each visit after that was great. Great food and good prices... guess I just had to give them a 2nd chance.

Specialty dishes are really special! Great service.. We had chili colorado and chorripollo with 'California' vegetables instead of rice and beans.. It was all wonderful..and a great price.

The staff and food are fantastic, but it seams that the owner needs a little work on how he treats his workers.

We had a wonderful first experience at Chepes! The street corn was awesome and the cheese dip was too! We had the Burrito Loco and the Burritos California and both were very tasty!

Holy schmolly get yourself down to chepes and get some fine eating! Best Mexican food in central Arkansas!

There were four other tables occupied. Service was fast and good was great. Would stop there again, if in the area.

I had tried several times over a couple of months to dine here. (after church on Sunday) The parking lot was so full, and people waiting outside for a table on each of those occasions. One afternoon my niece and her family joined me for supper. We decided to try Chepe's. The parking lot was full as usual, but this time no line out the door. We only had to wait about 15 min for a table. We receiced great service and enjoyed our meal.
Chepe's is a little pricier than other Mexican restaurants in the area, but it is very good. We all had a good experience here and look forward to going again.

I was served the wrong enchiladas and at first they didn't want ro fix it because I had already cut into them to see what kind they were.

Disgusting, the wait was absolutely horrific we had a 40 minute wait and people that came after us got a seat before us and they even had 7 people in their group we only had three, and to even get a seat we had to go ask the waiter about the wait twice. But it doesn t end just yet, once we go inside and they have us a booth we had to clean the booth our selves because they didn t wipe the table and the seats off. And when we got our drinks I had what looked to be the corner of a plastic pouch from a Welch Fruit snack, of all my time spent at many restaurants all over the U.S. and even outside the U.S. that is by far on of the worse things I ve ever seen in a drink. So we left and went to Tamales and in the time it took us to get a seat at Chepes we had our food and I got my drink Welch Fruit snack free too.

Sat at the bar with my wife and had a great time. We met Oscar the bartender and we're so glad we did. The drinks were excellent, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be stopping by this place the next time we're in Benton.

A new and absolutely wonderful experience. Superb drinks and delicious food. Definitely one of our all time favorites!! Highly recommended!!

The staff was wonderful. The punch was so good. You get a lot of food for the price you pay. I went at lunchtime. The food was good but very spicy. Cheese dip is great. The restaurant is very beautiful.

Been here twice. Ordered the chicken fajitas the first time which was very good. The second time I ordered the chili relleno dinner. The pepper was cooked to perfection. The best chili relleno I've had in many years. I never get the sauce on top, only on the side. It tasted more of a Italian marinara sauce.

Beans were bland, carne asada had no flavor, and had some seasoning sprinkled ontop after it was cooked instead of it being cooked with the Carne asada

Carne asada and strawberry margaritas blend perfectly the atmosphere is very soothing, staff was so nice and made my 10 month olds experience there one of the best shes had at a public restaurant. A little pricey, but worth it!

Meh. Not a bad experience. Not a great experience either. Fairly inexpensive. Decent service. No signature dish. The salsa and guacamole both are bland. Which pretty much describes the food. Not good or bad....Meh.

Does a great job having a variety of food options so it's a plus for me. Plus the staff is always on standby if you need a refill or something similar. But it really depends on where you sit though.

They hot my order wrong but they just got a little confused it was more on me cause I may of miss pernounsed it but then I got my meal and it was one of the greatest things I have ever eatin

Just order curbside for street tacos. Corn tortillas were ripped and couldn t hold the meat. Just a complete mess. Then on top of that gave me some stale chips.

Shredded beef tacos are amazing. Good chile rellano. Best house salsa I've ever had and the guac is good too. Decent prices.

Margaritas literally had no alcohol, asked the server and he said it was not the first complaint of the day, he said he would discount our 20$ pitcher that tasted like nothing but mixer and then said the manager said no because it was their "secret recipe". JOKE.

Absolutely amazing. And for the amount of food you get the prices are cheap. And alchohol is a nice different taste. Not your usual American style. Please enjoy your visit and be open minded if getting adult beverages.

First time for both hubby and I. I had tried with my granddaughter and loved the food and hospitality. The waitress was fabulous. We will be back!! Great place to eat. 2-14-2020

Chepes is a very good value in delicious Mexican food in Benton, AR. I had the Tallapia, which was similar to cajun style, and superb! My wife had the Carnitas Supremas. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The portions were too generous -- we had to take boxes home! Attentive, friendly service tops it all off nicely. We will certainly return, and often.

This restaurant is fantastic! The service was excellent, the food was fresh and quick, and the menu is broad with Gluten free options as well.

1st time visit and very glad we stopped. Told they've been open for 3 months. Clean, fresh, friendly atmosphere. Menu selection was complete. Our food was wonderful, but beans were a tad on the blah side but okay. Service was great. Reasonably priced. I will be back
