Gorgeous resort with great wine tasting room. Rooms, restaurants, and staff were amazing. I will definitely be back to try out the Spa!!

Beautiful renovation. Great space. There isn t any free parking despite the posting. Fun bike rides and a nice wine tour. I will definitely go back. Almost 5 stars but the parking discrepancy declined the ratings. Yeesenia was awesome!

Chateau Elan is definitely an wonderful places especially if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion in your life. The view is simply amazing and the food was fantastic. My wife (Ishika) and myself really enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful place and their wine is delicious. However, the cleanliness of our villa by the golf course was questionable. Our toilet was not cleaned and you can see it too which was disgusting. Thankfully one of the cleaners was near by where we showed her and she cleaned it right away. It just made me question if anything was wiped down since the toilet was left like that. Other than that, the scenery is gorgeous. The customer service is exceptional. Will definitely be back again.

I spent four nights at the hotel for a training class with my company. Really nice hotel, great food, very nice staff.

Update: Stayed another week for training and this time I was at the "Villas". I started in one of the two bedroom Villas and they were really nice, but since I wasn't golfing I didn't enjoy them as much since they're not as convenient as staying at the hotel in terms of accessing the restaurants, pool and other amenities at the inn.

I was disappointed in our recent stay in 8/2020. The facility seemed to be aging in the spa area, paint needed, outlets were yellowed, simple things that could make it so much more appealing. I've been to a lot of spas and this is not at the top of the list. The pool area was covered with used plates and cups, napkins floating in pool, used towels on chairs, none of the staff was picking up the trash, just walking by it. Trash sitting on tables in lobby. Our room had a dirty cup sitting outside the door (even though housekeeping had a sticker on door stating it was covid clean). Then inside there was a dirty sock under the luggage rack by the TV. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the way it just wasn't clean! I really don't recommend. If you want a good spa, clean hotel, resort, go the extra miles to Grove Park in Asheville, NC.

Stayed at the villas and it smelled as if someone just got done cooking in the kitchen. For $700 per night this was a huge let down. Also paddy s was very disappointing as well. Bill was $195 for 4 meals. We each had one drink. Would not recommend. Save your money!

It was literally like we were being ignored from the staff and bartenders. Will not come back, such a shame because I heard great things.

Went in for a wedding which was fabulous. Didn't know their wine was so good! Unfortunately there was construction in the lobby and thought the hotel which made our stay just so so. I would go back when it's done, though

This was a very beautiful place! We had a great experience! Everyone was nice especially at breakfast time! The waiters and waitresses were awesome! The buffet runner was doing it all one day and he was super sweet! I do think they could have had more of a variety because my pickings were slim since I don't get much. A waffle or pancake would have been perfect. The only thing I did not like was the fact that they did not change our sheets! We stayed 2 nights and normally the same sheets would have been fine but we had a toddler with us & blood got on the comfortable and a little on the sheets. You can clearly see the stains!! When we got back from breakfast we checked to make sure it was changed and moved the pillow & there it was a big red stain they covered up with a pillow. Not sure why they wouldn't had just changed them. They also didn't vacuum my daughter had cereal on the floor that we accidentally stepped on and it was still there after they cleaned the room & there was a pubic hair in the tub and 1 on the top where you would place your wine which was an indicator to me the tub wasn't cleaned out!! Gross! While it was a great experience and a beautiful place housekeeping could definitely use a refresher course. It was definitely on the lines of a 2 star hotel. Very disappointing in that aspect! For the type of money you spend here you should definitely receive better housekeeping service!

Really great wine. The meat and cheese plate was very well balanced. This winery is definitely more main stream than the ones in North GA but it was a very nice time.

My husband planned a spa day for me for our anniversary. It included a massage, lunch, spa manicure and spa pedicure. I enjoyed the massage and lunch very much. I was, however, quite disappointed in the service/quality of the manicure/pedicure. For one, the results I left with I could have received better for half the price at any other nail salon. My technician was late picking me up and seemed rushed through my manicure. I had to direct her attention numerous times to spots missed in painting. Additionally, my hands were very oily and still covered in lotion when she applied my polish. The end result doesn t look completed. I had plenty of time to sit and let them dry while she did my pedicure. They still ended up smudging and looked undone when I left. $130+ for a manicure and pedicure I expected much better results. While I d return for the massage services, I will not waste my money on the manicure or pedicure.

Beautiful hotel. Mandatory masks right now. Hand sanitizer everywhere. Thermal scan at entry. Felt safe. Clean and comfy room. Great bed. Super bathroom, shower and tub. And make sure to try the Velvet Reserve wine at the winery. Outstanding!

Great staff, beautiful grounds, all around 5 star resort.

Recently spent the weekend there for our parents anniversary. Somethings could have been better than others. However, John (from Turkey) stole the show and made our evening. Wine tour couldn't really happen because of rain. John was extremely charismatic and engaged our entirely family in conversation throughout our time with him. He made the wine tasting fun and really left a great impression with the whole family!

We visited the winery. As always the service was amazing. The staff is alway helpful and full of great suggestions. We got a lot of wine recommendations for a friend that was trying it for the first time. They start also informed us of upcoming releases. Can t wait to go back.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time this weekend for her birthday. When we arrived on site everything was absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. I'm giving the place 3 stars for the simple fact that I feel like the place is lacking for the money you spend to come here. We also did the wine tour and tasting which was the best part of the whole stay for me personally. Only having certain reasturants open at certain times and only serving portions on the menus is just too much for me. If I go to a resort I expect to be able to grab a drink or a snack at any time day or night. The scenery and views were great and the room was nice and clean but I personally felt like the venue isnt worth the money. I will be back for the winery but will not stay at the Inn again.

Incredible winery and resort. I was fortune to be invited to this space for a work related event and I was not disappointed one bit. From the moment I walked onto the property I was transported to the south of France countryside. You will absolutely love the staff too! The food was incredible and everyone working there made the event successful. Thank you!

Beautiful place and winery tour is fun. This was our first time out to anyplace like this since quarantine and it was nice to walk around nap public place outdoors. Social distancing on our part for sure. Took granddaughters walking through the vineyard and around then grounds. So peaceful and gorgeous sunset views

We went there for a birthday celebration. It was a great memory. We spent about half of the day there. Tried one restaurant, okayish. The wine tasting and the tour were really great. Definitely a must do. The view was stunning but it could be real hot during summer. We will come back for sure!!!

Had a lovely visit to Chateau Elan! The room was spacious and updated. The tour and wine tasting was such a fun way to spend the day. Food options were fairly limited, but good quality. We loved being so close to Atlanta, but feeling truly away from the hustle and bustle. An extra special shoutout to Rodney for my massage. Amazing!

One negative: It ain t cheap! Definitely wish they d rethink the pricing for their packages/spa services.

Great place for a quick getaway. Friendly staff, clean and lots of food options. The wine tasting room had great selections.

The first time I went here it for a car show. Which I loved. The second time I went it was for a birthday re-do due to Covid 19. I will say the wine tasting and tors are great! You learn more about what kind of wines you really like aside from the traditional sweeter wines. Now I know I really like red wines and white wines. I recommend coming here as a fun and educational experience!

Beautiful resort. Most staff was dismissive and seemed to care less that we were there or bothered that they had to wait on us except for Max in Versailles. He was so nice and went above and beyond for us leaving a lasting impression! The food was great. Prices are high so package deals are the way to go. Disappointed we couldn t get spa appointments even with calling a full week in advance so definitely book spa when you book your stay.

Don t stay here if you care about COVID-19. There s a huge sign on the front that masks are mandatory, yet at least 1/3 of people are not wearing one. The staff does not enforce this, and unfortunately the restaurant hostess is constantly at risk due to guests without masks standing 2 feet away while checking in.

Places like this need to enforce their policies to keep their staff and guests safe

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend. The resort and staff did an amazing job of keeping us safe, and making us feel comfortable. The Wine tasting is a definite must. One of the bartenders went out of his way to make suggestions and explain the differences. And the dinner at Marc Bar and Restaurant was amazing. We can not wait to be back.

I only did the premium wine tasting. I did not really explore the grounds or other amenities they offer. With that being said, the wine tasting was excellent. I went with my boyfriend who is very educated with wine and has his Sommelier certification, and he was thoroughly impressed. Highly recommend! We bought three bottles :D

Tammy got us a great room and I'd like to be complimentary of the staff we dealt with. From Sean in food and beverage, Sara at the wine tasting, Madeline as our Chef making some delightful scallops and visiting our table and our server Bobbie Jo at breakfast.
We had a wonderful visit and everyone made us feel welcome. This is one of the best Hotel experiences we've ever had.

The new owner and new management seem to be working well together. Covid friendly practices are being applied nicely with private tasting booths inside and amply spaced outdoor seating. You wait at your table until called up to the counter for your tasting. Much more organized and less cattle car feeling than the old ways of crowding around the bar waiting for an over worked pourer to make it your way and rush through your next selection. Don't expect to be in and out for a tasting in less than hour. Come when you have time to sit, sip, and enjoy a nice look at how a business can thrive in this new world we are all living in.

If you are a person who loves wine and golf, this is a place for you! I would highly recommend. It was absolutely beautiful! We stayed for one night and I wish I had stayed another! The staff was very pleasant and the food in the restaurants was delicious and the hotel was still being renovated but still beautiful! Can't wait to go back!!

The stay was wonderful. All the employees were super friendly. The room was very comfortable with good views and a huge tub. It was also very clean. The lobby area was clean and very comfortable. The winery was excellent and had a wonderful selection. We were able to hear our neighbors on one side of us and the pool area was only somewhat clean, but overall a very luxurious stay.

My husband and I went for a wine tasting tour! It was absolutely wonderful! The grounds were gorgeous, the tour was very informative and we tasted 5 different wines! The tour started promptly and moves swiftly! I would recommend if you are looking for a date outing or just a girls day!

Oh my goodness yall! Everything was completely excellent from the greeting to the departure. Some girlfriends and I needed a getaway and this was the perfect place. Lunch was the bomb, several delicious options. The massage, the hot tub, the facial... I could go on and on. Definitely worth every dime

Beautiful place + lovely rooms. Absolutely, loved the jacuzzi tub...so relaxing. My company hosted a one-night retreat and planned various activities for us to choose from. I attended the cooking class-- highly recommend taking one here. The meal choices were great + we got to keep the aprons & recipe cards. Will definitely like to visit again during a warmer month.

glitchy website. Non existent customer service. I tried booking this hotel on their website (after calling and being told booking department had gone home for the day.) As I browsed through rooms the website kept defaulting to the first room and date I had viewed. After some time I believed I had booked a room for the next night with a king bed-- got a confirmation and a charge to my credit card. On the drive to the resort I notice an e-mail stating that my reservation had been canceled. (Not my doing.) I tried calling at least 5 times during our drive to Georgia and the line was busy every time. I finally ended up booking a different hotel. But guess what wasn't canceled? The CHARGES for the room on my credit card. I have now called 2 times to get the charges resolved and got a voicemail the first time and a call back later message the second time. Unacceptable customer service.

Very nice place to visit and enjoy all the amenities. 5 star dining, rooms, golf and wine. hint: they own the Hampton Inn on the property and you still get to do things at Chateau Elan at a cheaper level.

This is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon having tea! The food is good and they have a nice selection of teas. While not required, do yourself a favor and dress in your best tea party hat. And say yes to the glass of bubbly!

Went for the first time today and everything was nice. I do think they should be a little strict on the mask wearing.

I was there to celebrate my birthday with a massage and facial also lunch and wine tasting. Upon getting my facial i was asked to remove my necklace. After receiving my facial 50 min later i totally forgot my necklace . So about 15 min later i called to aee if someone could retrieve my necklace from the room. I was told that I was the last person to receive a facial for that day.The front desk manager said that they looked for it but it wasn't found.I'm Very disappointed by this. Please don't wear your jewelry.

Doesn't feel like a true resort experience but OK if you can't get to an actual resort. There is no attention to detail, and many workers seem confused by any question. Light fixtures seem like they haven't been dusted in a while and just not what I expected from a resort.

Customer service is always A-1 here! Even during this pandemic, they have maintained a high level of service.

Sarah was our tour guide and she was 100% Amazing.
I enjoyed the wine tasting and the group I was with was amazing after that 1st taste.

This past weekend we visited Chateau Elan for their annual vineyard fest. Upon entry you are greeted with a beautiful backdrop of vineyards and holding hills. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. Great atmosphere to enjoy a wine tasting!

We had an event here. Very easy to navigate. As soon as we arrived the hedges in the front lawn spelled Chateau Elan. That was a really beautiful touch.

The venue is big ,bright, ,and beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We requested 4 chairs for our set up and they quickly brought them out to us.
The lobby and banquet area was clean and fresh. Flooring is beautiful. Oh, the food was DELICIOUS!
The goounds were quiet and neatly groomed. This place is gorgeous. Perfect for weddings and corporate events.

Stayed New Years eve. Had a great time. All the staff were great. Lost a couple of items but the hotel staff found them. Very grateful for their help. Will stay here again.

The resort is beautiful BUT due to covid there is a large problem they are booking the inn at full capacity and on all the amenities cutting everything in half for occupancy but charging everyone full price so if you expect to dine or lounge around the pool save your time and money don't come here due to poor management and lack of reservations at all amenities it's like a lottery if you get to eat or drink first time here and last time here

My wife and I went for our anniversary and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It's pretty pricey, so I recommend doing what I did and go during a package offer. It also helps to stay during the week if you're on a budget. We only stayed 1 night, but my wife is already looking forward to going back. Everything was very clean and the staff was beyond welcoming. Already budgeting to go back lol.
