After doing a lot of research of enclosed snowmobile trailers I chose to purchase Charmac for its industry wide reputation of quality and customer service. I chose the 30 Tri-Sport with heat package. 6000lb axles, auto transport capable. Nice trailer.
The issues I ve had were all fairly minor and immediately backed by the manufacture. My only regret was having the dealership perform the warranty work, because they ve caused more issues as a result than I had to begin with. I wished Charmac had more dealer support in the SALT LAKE CITY, UT area.

I do wish that the 30 trailer would have been available in all aluminum.

I bought a new Charmac Tri sport, over $15,000.00 I was told they were top quality among cargo trailers. However they forgot to put the outside plug on the trailer for the optional Electrical package. The man door works very poorly, a panel under the front ramp door was bent, the tongue has some dings in the spray coating, it was very dirty when I picked it up, I have tried to contact the factory but get no response. Also it has the goofy rubber torsion axles, that do not have much flex/articulation so on some inclines the tires on one axle come off the ground, I prefer leaf springs that have some real travel. The guys at the dealer are nice, but when I took it in for them to install the electrical plug, they dented a panel putting it in their shop. So now that has to be fixed. This has been a terrible gut wrenching experience! I have no time frame for that to be fixed yet. I have lost a lot of time, not being able to prepare it for this winters snow mobile season, much less actually use it! Very depressing!

Customer service sucks! Trudy was extremely rude. Didn't let me finish my sentences, and was very rude and sarcastic when I asked if they had of record of the model of the hydraulic jack I purchased from them for $2,000.

We bought a new cargo trailer for our business and it was the best cargo trailer weve ever bought. We pur a full wrap on the trailer and the company that did the wrap had to remove some caulking so we went to charmac and they caulked it right away. Very very good customer service. I dont understand why other customers say they have poor customer service. We definitely will be working with them again.

Worst company ever!! We bought a Keith Curtis Edit...

Worst company ever!! We bought a Keith Curtis Edition 40ft gooseneck for close to $40k. This trailer breaks every time we use it!! We talked to customer service. It takes them weeks to respond and will only ask a few questions. They never solve anything. Some of the problems we have are. Water leaks, heater breaking, no brakes, corrosion, hinges snapped, water in the walls. The list goes on. Please do not buy these trailers!! They will only offer discounted parts. We are not the only ones this happened to. People have started a website against Charmac!
