Definitely do not drive around. Pay to park and walk in. You'll waste over an hour of time to see an underwhelming light display. It's a cute place for young kids..playground, live animal manger scene, train ride, etc. Not worth the drive if you don't live close by. I would have given it another star but my son and I both developed food poisoning shortly after our trip there...may not be related but the timing lines up.

Beautiful display, wonderful place to walk around to get you in the holiday spirit. Only issue: food is offered at 3 different places 1 is an outside stand, which is not optimal when its below freezing. Also, if offering food (burgers, hotdogs, sausage, fries) it would be nice to have a WARM place to eat. The fire wasnt big enough or close enough to keep anyone warm. And they had an open air pavilion with 1 picnic table. Again, not ideal when its below freezing.

I would have put 0 stars but this was not an option. We spent 2 hours in line to drive through a 5 minute light "display" that costs $15. It was a number of cardboard cut outs with lights around them, and two-legged horses. I imagine that it would have been better if we could have parked and partook of the bonfire or horse-drawn carriage , but by the time we got through the line to that point, they were getting ready to close. If you are expecting anything like Hartwood Acres, prepare to be sadly disappointed. The Google description also states that it is 15 acres, this is nowhere near close.

It would be real nice if they would post that they were not opening more than 30 minutes before they were supposed to be open...there's 3 hours of my life I won't be getting back anytime soon...also, it was 60 degrees, and nary a spec of ice to be found...

Nice light show, been going there since I was a kid. The only part i dont like is how they make you feel you need to drive through and pay 15 dollars and when you park and walk in the also charge you an additional 3 dollars a person!!!

The country Christmas scenery is charming. It has a wonderful nostalgic train set up with several trains running at once. One can also purchase a horse drawn carriage ride. The gift shop has a lot of cute knick knacks, but the prices are high. They have some hot foods like fries, funnel cakes, and burgers, but again very expensive are is the chocolates. There is a place for Santa to be viewed, a "talking Christmas tree, a live sheep, goats, and a donkey to see. The driving light course, is short but sweet.

ATTEMPTED to go quite a few times...ALWAYS Half of the lights are bunt out and we turned away, except on our last trip out, we waited in a rather long line til we got to the pay booth, they said the price and we were shocked on what they were charging, REDICULOUS!! We left NOT WORTH IT...WAY OVER PRICED!!

Our family went to this in 2014 and 2015. It was not worth the money nor the wait. Half the lights didn't work. When we walked around the grounds, outside of sitting in front of a fire, there is nothing to do. They had some cocoa available, but the station was a mess, looked disgusting, and there was no hot chocolate. The people charged us in the parking lot, and then again at the gate. We found out the second year that you only pay at the gate!! <ripoff> Save your money and go elsewhere. Save your time and go to Hartwood Acres of Oglebay, this place just isn't worth it.

$20 a car to drive around a half -mile area and see 50 year old lights and wooden cutouts. Plus, most of overpriced food and experiences. I can live with all of that as I've gone there many times over my life. But if an organization can't turn on warm water in the restrooms in the winter for children to wash their hands after playing in the dirty children's areas so they can eat food with clean hands then reevaluate your pricing structure and your customer service. I really enjoyed watching my 5 year old son suffer from washing already cold hands with extremely cold water. (That was sarcasm by the way). Use some of your profits to upgrade and better service your customer. Unacceptable!

First time here. Sitting next to a fire watching my kids have a blast. I was a bit nervous due to the negative reviews but am very glad we came. Now that I'm here I decided to revisit the reviews. Looks like they are based on bad experiences during incredibly busy times. Not too busy tonight and it's great!

Lights were disappointing, stood in line for pictures with santa for 2 hours and when it was our turn the printer was broken...The train display was ok. Probably will go back but with lower expectations.

Got there on Black Friday night about 90 minutes after the gate opened. Took an hour to drive through the lights before parking (only reason why this isn't a 5-star review). Light display was incredible! Food service was especially fast... funnel cake was great! The nativity had a real donkey, goats, and sheep. Didn't do the wagon/sleigh ride. Overall great experience!

Overly's is a great place. The sleigh ride is great. There is a small train that kids can ride. There are manger animals and a model railroad room. Santa Claus is here and you can get your picture with him! The lights are great. This is a wonderful place to go and build some family memories. If you go on a Thursday night the crowds are pretty manageable.

A unique annual event. It is widely known in our region as a Christmas destination. A good family activity. Many decorations created with holiday light designs. I especially liked being around a big campfire with cups of hot chocolate. Plan on taking lots of pictures.

This is your warning that this place has volunteers that are extremely rude and not family-friendly at all! One volunteer in the main kitchen yelled at me when i waited in line for 15 minutes only to ask for a cup of warm or hot water to make my 8-month old son a formula bottle, since there was no running warm water in the bathrooms. She yelled at me that she doesn't have time for stupid requests and her job is to take care of paying customers. when i went back to her to ask nicely her to apologize, she only screamed louder and told me that if i didn't like it, to leave and don't bother to come back. The lady's name is Charlene, and several other people came to me and said they had similar experiences with her as she would give an extreme attitude towards them while they ordered food. She should not be volunteering where she is absolutely miserable and makes others feel unwanted.

Absolutely love this place. If looking for a nice time with the family or even just yourself I highly recommend coming out. Drive through and see all the lights then park and go inside for even more.. See the displays, enjoy a bonfire, sleigh rides and so much more..

So not worth $18.00 to get in. Admission should only be $5.00. The drive around the lights lasts about five minutes. You can park and walk around or buy food but there isn't much to see. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.
