Very slow loading 15:00 - 23:30. And no parking. As with a lot of shippers and receivers, they pretend to have no knowledge of the fmcsa's hours of service rules.
I work there. Its hot, I'm tired, I'm cramping from dehydration, and my clothes are completely soaked in sweat. It's not a difficult job, just the elements can get to you.
three years at this company floor lead in both injection and blow mold areas. Management makes you feel like they don't know what they are doing. i remember being told that they wanted to write me up. not because the product on my line was built wrong or my count was off. But because i didn't and couldn't transact the product as quickly as they wanted me to. My area stayed understaffed so leaving to go make a (they wouldnt let my supervisor send me enough help) transaction was not possible without getting behind on production. At that moment i knew i made the right choice in deciding to leave. It's ok if you need a job or do not mind putting up with incompetence on the daily. i couldn't deal so i left.. there are good people up there though. They are just not in the correct positions to make good changes.
People here know what they are doing. They want you in and out as quickly as possible.
When you arrive get in line wait for a door to be available then back into that door and walk into the shipping office and give them your info and what door you're backed into.
Dry load loaded like a reffer load needed 4 and half hours to move out of the dock !!
Great work environment. Great pay. Great seasonal parties.
