I am a former employee and it was the worst experience of my life. The management team were not organized, and didn t seem to care much about their employee s. I worked at their new location across from the Lexington Market, and it was unkept. They refused to hire someone to clean the office, and not once did anyone clean the bathroom while I was there.

As an employee I felt like I didn t get much support or supervision . I felt a lot of the decisions I made on my own and it was overwhelming. Additionally, they purposefully double booked me with clients and expected me to see them all; regardless if they had to wait longer.

They did not care about their clients nor did they treat them well. Many times I would overhear whoever was at the front desk (at this point it was only one woman because everyone quit) and she would be so nasty and mean. They would sell false promises to these folks, and never follow through.

Lastly, this site is FAMILY OWNED! All of management are related to one another and only care about THEIR best interest, and no one else s. On top of that they are unbelievably unethical. CARF and ACA needs to take a thorough review of this place because they are doing serious harm to them.

My aim was to give an honest review of my experience working there. All of the other employees feel the same although they won t say it out loud. If you are considering working at CHS it honestly isn t worth it. ESPECIALLY if you are a new clinician, trust me, you want to get your clinical hours and supervision some place else.

Horrible... They give you an appointment time, but youre never seen until at least 3 hours after your scheduled time. They schedule you, you show up, then claim you arent scheduled . Not to mention the unprofessional staff. I went through 3 different therapist in 5 months. The place is crap. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! I left. I had enough of the long waits. There was never a time where i showed up for an appointment and was seen on time or within an hour of that time. DO NOT Waste your time THERE.

Exceptional healthcare and customer service delivery.
The clinical site is a community-based wellness center that provides psychiatric recovery, rehabilitation, and therapeutic services to individuals and families. The practice has been serving Baltimore and DC metro areas for almost two decades with arrays of competent healthcare professionals who provide exemplary behavioral health and wellness serves to their clients. At the clinical site, I was exposed to an individual, group, and family therapy in mental health rehabilitation and recovery services that focus on the whole person wellness. I worked with an array of diverse professionals in different fields of practice, such as social work, psychiatry, psychology, counseling and so on to learn multidisciplinary collaborations with other professionals. Change Health Systems is an excellent place of learning for upcoming clinicians; the environment is very conducive and well-structured to provide state of the heart health care service to eligible individuals.
My preceptor is a knowledgeable and highly experienced individual who delivers therapeutic interventions to eligible individuals within the community. He provides supportive, educational, and pharmaceutical interventions at the center and has been precepting NP students from different accredited institutions for over two years. With no reservation, I would recommend Change Health Systems to anyone seeking a holistic outpatient psychiatric and mental health services. For students in healthcare disciplines who are looking for a well-equipped clinical site and an experienced and knowledgeable preceptor and healthcare professionals with the interest of clients at heart, Change Health Systems is the place to be.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. They are very unprofessional and unorganized. You can be scheduled for 1 pm and not be called to see the psychiatrist until 6. I've even signed in before and waited several hours just to be told that I wasn't on time.... The receptionist had greeted me when I came in and asked who I was scheduled to see. She forgot to pull my chart and was very rude. I had to reschedule because of a mistake on their end.

The worst mental health clinic ever there customer services is so terrible. The reception is terrible giving false information to even the thrrapist. I be been with this clinic so long and for the first time I needed help my son is on Adderall for his ADHD n cause if family issues he had to go to North Carolina for the month he wasn't here for his appointment n they would not help me get my son adderaAd that he has been on for years so now he in another state no needs n he will b home the 27 and if course they can't help till the 31 what's the sense of having a Dr that can't help you. Then the clinical director promise me on wensday that the Dr would call me Friday to see if he could help do u think I got a phone call of course not he most likely never even got my letter piss poor place o will be leaving that clinic after my son gets his next perscription they really suck

If I could give it a lower rating, I would. I had a family member as one of their patients and was on psych meds. For almost four weeks, they gave him the run around after one of their doctors wrote a wrong prescription. Everytime he would go up there, they would either say the doctor isn't in, question him why the script was wrong, and then send him back to the pharmacist to have them fix it!! They are unprofessional and incompetent to run a behavioral health clinic the way they do.

Every time I try to make a appointment they tell me to walk in and that I will eventually be seen which is usually on Tuesday's or Thursdays. The receptionist are rude and never ask how they can possibly help especially when u explain that ur almost completely out of meds. Now as well all know it's not good for people to be out of psych meds. SMH I seriously need to find somewhere else to go. The only reason I stay is because of my therapist Ms Lindsey. But I do not recommend this place to anyone. U will always wait hours even when u do get a appointment

I worked with CHS for 3 years and I can say the organization has its heart to serving the community. They do have some systemic challenges but the leadership team is open and willing to hear employee and client feedback. At the later part of my employment a seasoned HR manager was added to help create effective systems, build morale and support employees with any questions or concerns. In doing this I believe trust was built and CHS is moving in the right direction. They have had their struggles, but that s behind now from what I hear and see.
