Quoted a price for a service on my X6, on the day turned out to be nearly double that price because they had failed to mention the microfilters (?) needed changing. Also, charged us for a courtesy car, which I have never had with any other garage!! Emailed service manager, will be interesting to see if I get a response.

There was no meet n greet at the entrance to the service area, so I trusted to luck on that one! I abandoned my car and went inside the reception area and once again I was ignored which I found intimidating, eventually and reluctantly someone offered to help. We specifically asked them not to use my mobile to contact us with any results and to use the landline instead. They used the mobile number. Things improved on pick up when everything went well.

My local main dealer that I have been to for 30 years plus, booked in for end of warranty check and mot and full service booked in for a couple of weeks time, as always very professional and friendly service which is why I always return and good value with the approved used servicing package. Service was great but they seem to have an issue with their call centre as not all requests were logged. They said they would book a curtesy car but when I turned up there was no record of it (and no cars). So have to reschedule.

Staffs look after customers upon arrivial and well-organised job. I came to Chandlers for MOT test and i am pleased with the whole time - dropped the car, service advised, had a coffee break and waiting for the job done. Well done!

I have found the service slow and the quality of work is poor for the price.
They also try to charge you for work and tyres that dont need doing.

9/6/20...yesterday,my car was in for its first mot and a brake fluid change.I make a point of leaving my car in clean condition prior to any work carried out and I am pleased to say that it was returned to me in even better condition.A health check video was sent to my mobile,tyres blackened and the cost was as quoted when I booked the appointment a few weeks previously.Very pleased with the service received.

Popped in at the weekend as I have been thinking about getting a new car. Spoke with a lovely guy named Will who was extremely helpful and took the time to talk to me about lots of different models and specs and which one he thought best suited what I need. He also spoke to me about different finance options available. As someone who doesn't know much about cars Will made me feel totally comfortable and at ease and he went out of his way to help.

Simple and easy booking process. Car came back very clean. Disappointed that monthly service plan did not cover service which mean I had pay an additional 300+ for a standard service on top. Also asked dealer to check warranty as all 4 wheels coroding and stitching on drivers seat coming undone. Bought car October 2019. When I picked up this had not been investigated and was told warranty system was down so could establish if covered.

My car had a safety recall. I contacted BMW who booked it in for 8am the following week. The operator was very helpfull. The day before it was due in I got a call asking me when I was dropping it off.

After I took it in, later in the day I called BMW to see if my car was ready for collection. I was told someone would call me back. This never happened. So I called again a hour later and was told it s was nearly ready.

I collected my car at 5pm. At 5.30 pm I got a text message saying my car was ready for collection.

The bonus was that they did a safety check highlight possible work that needed to be done. This just verified what was listed in my MOT.

This morning I was in Horsham John Lewis and a young lad saw me looking at the car he was driving with writing along the side of it. I have had been looking at the BMW 1 series shadow edition for a few months now but i couldn't find the time to go to the dealership to go test drive one , I was speaking to this young man called Christian and he was telling me that he has only started this week at the dealership, He was such a lovely lad with such knowledge and advice, Christian was so happy and approachable, his kind manner made me not only want a BMW but to come to the Worthing dealership. He is a great young man with an old head on young shoulders and I was privileged to speak to him. He was telling me that there is a new release soon of the 1 series ! this afternoon I looked into the new 1 series and i will be popping in to see Christian at the end of the year! Well done Christian keep up the good work!

Excellent service on our 07 plate BMW 120i Thorough, itemised, major service. Given that Chandler's is a main agent we were surprised to find it no more expensive than a BMW specialist garage. Video safety check really helpful. Only time I ever get to see the car from underneath. Nice to have got the car back washed and vacuumed too.

Enquiried about changing my 6 month BMW for an SUV due to change of circumstances last week. I Was contacted regarding my query and then nothing. Phoned to raise the issue only to be told by the sales manager (not the original salesman) that, 1) car sold, 2) the salesman would be in touch 3)they had an event on this weekend and were busy, but does sound like you are ready to go and we should be looking to take your money.

Five days later not heard anything. I have had similar experiences with all other dealers in the south east. My advice go north, can t be more helpful. Failing that Mercedes seem to be only to happy to do a deal.

Really good experience at Chandlers Worthing. First time I have used them. Was booked in for a fast track service by Jessica who explained very clearly how process would work. I was given an initial quote for work upfront. The service was completed within stated time and I enjoyed good hospitality whilst waiting in the showroom. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was also sent a detailed and well narrated video by Graham Larking of the vehicle inspection followed by discussion to go through what was done. What I really like was how transparent the whole process was. Car was cleaned and vacuumed.

Honestly delighted with the efficiency of the fast track service. It meant I was able to get my car in at an earlier date at a time that suited me with very little disruption to my day.

All in all was a very good customer experience would definitely use them again.

Great reception team and customer facilities let down by inefficient systems and stressed tyre mechanic.
I had booked in my pre-warranty check and first MOT and arrived as requested at 8am. The receptionist told me it'll be up to 90 minutes so I took a seat and had a coffee. Within 10 minutes Phil the tyre guy came around to say that both front tyres required changing for the MOT and if I agreed he would order them and have them fitted and the car re-rested by 11am, which I agreed to and reminded Phil that my car did NOT have run flats. (He had a previous problem when I had a flat tyre requiring replacement insisting I had run flats, so I had to take my car to Quick Fit instead!)
So I went for a walk and at 10am got a call from Phil saying there will be further delays as he had ordered run flats!! And now had to order Non-run flat tyres for my car.
The car was eventually ready by 13:30, so 90 minutes turned into 5.30 hours.
And still the BMW Chandlers system states that my car has run flats, which is totally frustrating and means I'm very wary about letting them near my car again. Such a shame.

Professional, accommodating and ok servicing costs for a major dealership. They waived one cost as a gesture of goodwill as the car was just out of warranty. Liked the customer quiet area where I was able to work on my laptop while the work was being done. Not really local so stayed on site as courtesy cars take a few weeks to be booked in. Free drinks too:)

The service I received throughout the buying process was brilliant. Dragos was a true gent. He kept me informed of the status of my car being delivered and got me the best deal possible. Dragos service is the sole reason for the 5 stars.
However, the service department really lets this branch down. Unfortunately my car had a glitch in the computer system and needed looking at. Nothing a quick system update couldn t fix but.. from booking it in to collecting it the man I spoke to, I think his name is Lawrence, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Sadly I now understand why so many people warned me about the service and aftercare team . Such a shame, they really put a dampener on the company.

Very pleasant atmosphere and very helpful. My X4 was in for a recall so didn't experience their prices. As a business, in my opinion, it is poorly laid out as access to the showroom is not obvious hence the ability to browse and chat is limited which does little to promote sales. Their service, staff and cleanliness was excellent.

Fantastic service at chandlers today from the moment I called to the work the Bodyshop team completed. A scratch on the bonnet sorted in less than 30 mins. Peter was excellent and a real credit to the dealership. Only had my BMW for 3 months and from this experience will be the only place I take my car for any service or repair. Highly recommend. And they make a great cappuccino!

All friendly staff prices advised up front so no shocks, it's a shame Chandlers now charge for collecting and returning the car as this free service did contribute in the past for me to use Chandlers for my services but as my car ages It is something I will have to consider.
Overall very happy with their service.

My husband liked two cars and was indecisive. He spoke frequently with Ben and finally decided to go for the X3. After speaking with Ben on Monday we were able to pick it up on Monday evening. I would just like to say that Ben was fantastic with my husband. Very professional and did his upmost to meet our needs. Would highly recommend Ben if going to purchase a BMW. All the staff are also very friendly and helpful but as Ben has helped us from the start we would recommend him.

Buyer beware. The IDrive in the Mini is not able to work with any mobile phone other than an iphone. My Samsung is being blamed for crashing the I Drive in my brand new Mini, I have had to order an iphone so I can continue to use the phone/media/satnav etc. Strangely.... the I Drive in the BMW I was lent during investigation remained unaffected.... odd that isn't it however I am assured that the I Drive is not faulty. We shall see.

Since you know this matrix exists why don't you share it with your sales staff. Or is that because we wouldn't buy your cars if we knew the truth?

Before Christmas my BMW E90 was recalled regarding...

Before Christmas my BMW E90 was recalled regarding the heater blower and the cars battery.
My car came back every thing seemed fine until I started hearing strange noises from behind my dash board after about one week and over time this noise kept getting worse.
I rang Chandlers Worthing and told them situation stating that I had never had an issue until the recall. Then was told by a member of staff that there is no way I could prove that which left me feeling very uncomfortable.
I agreed to pay for the cost and so far I haven t had an issue with the heater blower. Now battery warning light is coming on and the cars clock keeps on resetting itself. I have not reported this issue yet.

I went to Chandlers, Worthing for my cars first MOT & an end of warranty check as I had purchased it from them.
I drove up to the automatic service doors which opened but there was another vehicle in the parking bay. I sat & waited for some help as it was pouring down. Various people walked past, ignoring me. Eventually a member of staff told me to just leave the car where it was.
I went inside to the service reception where I wasn t acknowledged at all for some time.
I was eventually served, and I told them I would wait while the MOT was being carried out. They said it would take approximately 90 minutes. I asked about extending the warranty, I was told that the finance company deal with that & he would give me a contact phone number.
Time passed, I realised that I had actually been there for almost 3 hours! I went to find someone to ask why it was taking so long. I was told that the car had just come out of the service area & would be washed soon. I decided to settle the bill & sat back down to wait. A member of staff came over to me & told me that there had been a mix up. The car hadn t been washed as they didn t know I was a waiting customer. He offered a half hearted apology & said that if I was in a rush, I could take the car right away. I said I might as well wait after all that time!
I finally left the garage well over 3 hours after I d arrived. I wasn t even given number for the finance company (which I d actually forgotten about by that point) The service I received was dreadful. It s not what I ve experienced in the past from Chandlers BMW. The only proper acknowledgment I had was from the lovely girl who worked on reception & made me a coffee. I just felt totally ignored so I won t be returning, for future services or to buy another car.

Very well looked after. Very polite and friendly staff in the service department. Mandy was particularly lovely talking to my children as we waited for car to be ready. Only downside would be that I received a message at around 1:30pm to say the car was ready but when I arrived at after 4pm to pick it up it hadn't yet been washed so had quite a wait with the kids before being able to take it, this happened last time as well so that could be improved, but everyone looked after us very well whilst we waited and work had all been complete with no trouble.

A tad disappointed this time: had to stop at service station en route to friends day after service. The oil reserve warning light indicating that the oil tank was empty! Filled up with oil, then next day the screen wash indicator flashed up as empty.

I recently got great service for a difficult paintwork issue on my car. They were really professional with assessing the issue and rectifying it. Main Dealers get a lot of grief. Its not always easy to be perfect or meet peoples very high standards. but they were really good, really fair and just a pleasure to deal with... thank you so much.

He dealt with all my issues and queries with great knowledge, as well as with refreshing sincerity and honesty. It made buying an M340i a pleasure. If I could score 6 stars I would.

Purchased new car, been back at Chandlers twice since purchasing 13 days ago, they've had it 5 days on & off so far, problems not resolved!

Couldn't care less now they have banked over 26k, two days I left twelve messages & not one call returned!

Not interested in consumer rights act 2015, virtually wouldn't listen. Still problems ongoing.

Do not spend any of your money here, shop elsewhere.

I can only presume the company (Barons) who own this dealership and the one near where i live in London invest heavily in staff training because every single person i've dealt with has been ultra helpful, taking time to explain everything and at no point have they been pushy or tried to up sell me. Buying my car was a pleasure & painless, couple of calls and one quick visit then delivered to my house a few days later. Highly recommend. Thank you for a brilliant 1st impression of BMW

Bought a nice car from here, had battery issues within a week, booked in, was told no problem, however, after the warranty ran out, I need a new battery!
Diff was noisey, M3 charistics?
Even though car was under warranty, and travelled 630 mile was told that lubricants were not covered under warranty so paid to have diff additive.
The new sight looks nice but it s all about having a cappuccino whilst your not being looked after!
Totally put me off BMW, I ve had 7.
Rather catch the bus!
