when you buy from this car dealer, I strongly suggest that you haggle hard because they have huge mark up from their costs. If you are not successful in getting the price that you want, buy from other BMW dealers. If you don't negotiate, you might regret later buying from them because they have the poorest after sales service in Auckland!

Very Friendly people to deal with.

Very Friendly people to deal with.
Car came with full tank of fuel and had been groomed.
Car was a trade in but extremely low mileage.
If you are looking for a quality European Vehicle then i
recommend these people.

Bought 2 new BMW from these guys over the years. Always the same overpriced servicing forcing you to book vehicle into shop for anything so they can gouge you, consistently make simple issues complex.
Latest one is they cant supply replacement for locknut wheel socket so they will need to 'drill out the studs'............ the 22 cloverleaf kits are on EBAY for $90. Surely they could stock one to help their clients?
Their pricing of other OEM parts is equally ridiculous, do yourself a favour and visit 'Micks Garage' site, $200 will get you a full set of brakes and filters delivered to NZ including freight.

Dropped off my X5 today. No real good morning from the staff, no clear acknowledgement of the issue they need to fix and a laundry list of services they want to do to the car without clear explanation. Additionally no one offered a dropped off. Not the BMW level of service the brand is based of.

Can't believe had a car checked at BMW they came back with a laundry list of issues that don't even need repair including a rocker cover gasket $525.00 got a quote for $179, wanted to replace the battery for $630 can get exactly the same battery for $279, Say my wheels aren't genuine but they are BMW wheels and they are trying to upsell issues that don't exist. Totally suggest to take your cars to North Shore BMW , the service team at New Market just want to see how silly you are before you question there ridiculous BILL...

Atrocious service and assistance with known problems on 1 and 3 series BMW 2 litre engines
BMW representatives refuse to answer my questions regarding known issues on certain models components and also refuse to put me in touch with relevant contacts in Germany where my car is manufactured.
I am now going to start posting on Facebook and twitter to try and get a response.
Also interesting that you cannot post an entry without allocating at least 1 star, zero stars are not an option.

Its basically what you expect from BMW, good cars though designed for the same group who ride bikes in lycra. Sales people that also are straight out of 2nd hand sales sort of expectations. So the experience is pretty much what you should expect. That said, good cars to drive.

Worst service and customer service ever. I went to...

Worst service and customer service ever. I went to BMW to get my 528i F10 serviced, it cost$ 2,200 for the full service, where they replaced the oil, coolant, air con noise, engine flush etc . The oil service that I was charged for, now says that I have to get it replaced in just 1000km according to the car it hasn't been changed. Also the sensor that was working before to monitor the oil levels now doesn't work as it says the oil interval level has been changed. Also the coolant warning light is on after I specifically asked for the coolant to be changed and got a reply that it has life time cooling. The car is now making noises in the rear and in the driving rack which it dint make before. ON TOP OF THAT Graeme Porter who is my service consultant at this awful place has neither replied to my emails or calls. I will be seeking reimbursement from them going forward as I was charged for work not done.

Hi Michelle, its apneet i repaired my car from you guys its KJL711 you guys refueled my whole car and you'hv got the whole quote for my car and even i have it but next day when i got my car the camera was not coming out and the wires under dashboard were all out which they didn't fixed and my friend visited you guys next day but they didn't fixed thr camera saying it wasn't working somehow i managed that whole thing by myself. Now the car is making weard noises when i drive it or stop it and also showing transmission warning light which was serviced from you guys and makimg jerks while shifting the gears
This time i'm so distressed from you guys i can't come to you everyday and tell a problem when before i told you to diagnose my whole car and i'm gonna go for a legal action this time i tried calling Vaughn yesterday but they said he's busy leave a message i told them the problem still they didn't contacted me yet even today i used Uber for my work
Moreover i'll definitely write everything on your rating page including the names of people who guided me in your showroom

These guys are crooks my wife and I always buy new cars, she purchased a brand new car from BMW and takes it back twice now and still has the same problem. The service team just gives excuses, I took it to a European mechanic and he fixed the car straight away, these guys wasted my wife and I time. Go to bella motorworks if you want to fix your BMW.

Recently purchased a "demo" model from Ack City BMW. Upon delivery I discovered a few issues, but after some discussion, Ack City BMW stepped up to the plate and had the issues resolved with no costs to me. Been to this place numerous s times over the years and been less than impressed by their service, ridiculously expensive and not very honest opinion about what is wrong with my car. On one occasion the light on my old 525 wasn't working properly and it failed the WOF, took it to them to get a quick appraisal of what it could be, was told would need to leave the car for a day as would require removing front bumper bar, removing light unit etc etc. Alarm bells rang in my female accountant head, so went home, opened the bonnet, found the light, fiddles around and managed to fix it. All within 10 mins. I have never trusted them again since, and always do my own research of what could be wrong before I go to them. Anyway, too bloody expensive so use BM Workshop or Bellars.

I purchased my car in this branch a few years beforeAnd I did a service just in a couple of days. The break has been replaced, the merchant is so careless with my car. after the service done, I take my car to AA for WOF. They told me I didn't even get my nails fixed on the tyre. AndI took the risk of my life, and when I come back to them, the service team does not even apologize to me and make me wait for a really long time. Never go back again and do not recommend for car service. Don t take the risk, the service will kill you!

my 335i car been thier for a few weeks and I just got it back 2 weeks ago to find out it is still leaking. bad customer service didnt feel comfortable at all and dealing with the service adviser really rude towards me. and now my car is back at the shop all i have been told is they don't no where the leak is coming from. No contact or keeping me updated on to what's happening with my car.I had to chase him around for the answer to what is happening with my car. Dont recommend coming here at all.

2017 Great customer service, even bathroom feels expensive. My first time at dealer, it was for airbag recall, I didn't enjoy the experience because I prefer to speak to mechanics rather than customer service agents. I want to know everything about my car.

2019 Came back second time after they identified a different airbag recall due to an incident in Australia.
Everyone is so nice, even the salesperson offered to get coffee for me while I sat in new cars and I told him earlier that I am not buying.

Droped my 6-series off this morning. Can't say that the chaos at the drop-off instills alot of confidence. No smiles, no "good morning, how are you" and worst of all bickering among the various team members. Rather anxious to see how the day goes...

UPDATE: Dylan (my service advisor) delivered good communication throughout the day. Patric (GM Aftersales) also took the time to chat to me when I picked up my car. Happy to review my rating and give them the benefit of the doubt that today's incident was the exception, not the norm.

UPDATE 2: Today on the motor way my car experienced a drivetrain malfunction and went into limp mode. I made it to Auckland City BMW and was able to see Dylan, my service advisor after a short wait. The car was booked in and Dylan asked me to have a seat while he arranged transport for me to go pick up a rental car. I did this, and when he came back he gave me a friendly smile and handed me a BMW ginger cookie. This little gesture managed to put a smile on my face after a rather challenging morning. My thanks to Dylan for this gesture of kindness, and also to the dealership for transporting me to Hertz. Much appreciated.

I've taken my vehicle here a couple of times. Twice for recalls. And another time for mechanical warranty issue (vehicle brought elsewhere (Not Alk BMW) the guys at Auckland city BMW I've always been very helpful and professional. It's really nice arriving and someone knows your name.I realise is that they are just checking the registration against my name but they do that before I get out of the car. I'm always offered coffee and biscuits in the car is returned to me washed and vacuumed. This is happen on both occasions where it was product recalls or it didn't cost me anything. I have only really dealt with Vaughn there. He's a good guy and you'll look after you.

BMW have always gone above and beyond for me, they have often fit my car in with out an appointment, get the job done as soon as they can and I love coming back to a washed and vacuumed car. Highly recommend this place, their service is fantastic all round.

Absolutely disgusted by their Used Vehicles Sales Manager - Ruan Meyer service. I came by over the weekend to view a specific vehicle, instead of being handled as a genuine customer. I was discriminated and judge upon my ethnicity and age. Without a proper introduction i was asked how serious i was to purchase the car today as if i am here for a joy ride then they would not let me test drive the vehicle. Highly lack of professionalism and a very pushy arrogant sales person.

Gave me a "Ballpark" figure to work with, even though I have asked specifically for the actual amount and the rate. She has that look on her face "can you really afford to buy this car?" "Don't waste my time" look on her face. I walked out and bought car somewhere else.

Got my 2010 car updated here with new airbag and fuel pump, part of the recall campaign. Thumbs up to bmw still do recalls to cars of this age. Vaughn from service department was very helpful, very friendly. 5 star for the services I have received.
