I went to Chandlers, Worthing for my cars first MO...

I went to Chandlers, Worthing for my cars first MOT & an end of warranty check as I had purchased it from them.
I drove up to the automatic service doors which opened but there was another vehicle in the parking bay. I sat & waited for some help as it was pouring down. Various people walked past, ignoring me. Eventually a member of staff told me to just leave the car where it was.
I went inside to the service reception where I wasn t acknowledged at all for some time.
I was eventually served, and I told them I would wait while the MOT was being carried out. They said it would take approximately 90 minutes. I asked about extending the warranty, I was told that the finance company deal with that & he would give me a contact phone number.
Time passed, I realised that I had actually been there for almost 3 hours! I went to find someone to ask why it was taking so long. I was told that the car had just come out of the service area & would be washed soon. I decided to settle the bill & sat back down to wait. A member of staff came over to me & told me that there had been a mix up. The car hadn t been washed as they didn t know I was a waiting customer. He offered a half hearted apology & said that if I was in a rush, I could take the car right away. I said I might as well wait after all that time!
I finally left the garage well over 3 hours after I d arrived. I wasn t even given number for the finance company (which I d actually forgotten about by that point) The service I received was dreadful. It s not what I ve experienced in the past from Chandlers BMW. The only proper acknowledgment I had was from the lovely girl who worked on reception & made me a coffee. I just felt totally ignored so I won t be returning, for future services or to buy another car.
