I always love eating here. Food is top notch and in a great location.

Excellent and fresh quality food with gorgeous views!

Yesterday evening we were at the beach close to Chandler s Restaurant and we had to charge our battery to get a uber/lyft to go back home. We visited Chandler s Restaurant to request charging our phone and they were very helpful. We greatly appreciate their help and kindness.

Let me start with the waitstaff, they were spot on and very attentive. Jose was a wonderful server and did great recommending entrees. We did not feel rushed at all and they even brought out cake to celebrate our son's birthday. The view was amazing. We sat outside for drinks and apps until it started to rain then moved inside.

We had been meaning to visit chandlers for quite a while since it s close to where we live. Today we went for lunch. It was really really good. We had the white bean hummus which was delicious and the vegetables were so fresh!!! The pita bread was good and served warm. Then we had the short rib flatbread and the lobster/shrimp tacos. They were both off the charts delicious!!! The service and view were five star!! We loved our waiter Fernando who was extremely attentive and very pleasant.
We highly recommend Chandler s and will definitely be back!!

Beautiful spot with live music and a cool patio over looking the beach. Great spot for sunsets. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Service was very good as well. Definitely returning.

Service at the bar was excellent! Our drinks were on point. We ordered lobster and shrimp nachos. It was was tasty but smelled a bit too fishy .

I like the place but it can t seem to find an identity. Expense drinks and food. Typically you do one or the other...and they got rid of the fire pizza oven. I hope that they get it together soon as everyone in the area is rooting for you.

Hotel restaurant is okay and about what you d expect - prices are high, food was mediocre, restaurant (and hotel for that matter) were short staffed. Convenient location but nothing special.

Excellent service, sweet views, great presentation, mediocre ingredients. Food was a little lackluster for the price - fish was frozen but cooked well, flavors of the dish were all over the place. Wine selection was just OK, but priced accordingly.

Excellent service and delicious appetizers. Great selection of wines.

Just about everything I have eaten at Chandler's is fantastic. The lobster stuffed sea bass was amazing and the burgers are mouthwatering. The view is exceptional and I the service is great.

Chandlers is inside Cape Rey Hilton Hotel. The view is beautiful. Highly recommend the Cobb Salad. Their margarita is really good too. The bartender was very attentive.

Service was great and the burger is fantastic with truffle tator tots.

First time visiting. Went on a April 1st around 630pm. There s a lot I want to say but for sake of time; Christopher and Jose saved the night for us. Though it took about 8minutes to get us seated outside, it took over 46minutes for us to even get asked what we wanted!! I was very unhappy. I shared my frustration with the 2 gentlemen (Christopher and Jose) & they immediately got the ball rolling on our meals plus a few meals on the house for the outrageous waiting. The view is wonderful and food was delicious. I may return.

On the water in our hotel. No driving. Food was excellent and the ambiance was fantastic. It was a great place to take my wife for her birthday.

Had a bloody Mary, it was just okay, price too high for what it was.
Cute place to relax. Only 1 hour free parking. After that it'll cost you 10 dollar

Waitress forgot order details on drink, another on food. Chef forgot standard ingredient in burger. Pool waiter wore mask on chin while serving people. Pool waiter, and pool gate keeper, had face mask on mouth only. Not covering nose during pandemic. Certainly expect more from what is normally a good experience

Only a few items to choose from on the lunch menu. But the food is very good. Great service. Beautiful view

We went for Mother's day brunch. We were sat outside in the overflow area, while it might be nice on somedays, it was so windy we could hardly keep the table from blowing over. We had reservations weeks in advance, and got the worst seat in the place. And the food was mediocre at best and really over priced. The service was ok. The waiter was nice enough, but it's a buffet.. I wouldn't recommend the brunch.

Lovely restaurant with generous portions. The Albacore BLT was a pleasant surprise with a unique taste added to the tuna - capers. The Soup & Sandwich was a nice cup of soup with a full sandwich, the cheese, onions and tomato made a tasty combination.

We wanted to celebrate my friend birthday we were yesterday there. We were five poepl. First the host at the door was so rude and not welcome us. Second she give us a table which the heather didn't work. After the order no one came to asked if we need anything. Very rude people working there bad customer service.

The Ocean view at sunset was beautiful and the food was excellent as was the service.

Cold Ahi Tuna, seemed to have been warmed not seared as should have been.

Reserved a table outside and the view was spectacular. The sunset is gorgeous.... Food is excellent with large portions. Will recommend thia place to friends. Amy, our server, is sweet and helpful.

The brunch has something for everyone. The Chef's specials are all amazing all the time.

Absolutely over priced! Horrible value. Limited menu. It is exactly what it pretends not to be: an overpriced hotel resturant exploiting a captive audience.

The view was nice, but save yourself the disappointment, enjoy it from the pool/patio and eat elsewhere. Second night we brought food from the nearby Jack in the Box- same view but better food and didn't pay a kidney to eat it.

Wine list may be decent but beer selection was pathetic.

Outstanding service! A very enjoyable breakfast after a walk on the beach.

We went here with our son and his wife but the menu left a lot to be desired and the gluten free options definitely weren't any better so we left after drinks!

Good food and nice view of the ocean, but $30 + tax & tip for pancakes and sausage is overpriced

Food was delicious, atmosphere had a pleasant amount of lightness and class to it, and the service was pleasant. Conversation is always welcome. Try the Hard Kombucha. Tip from Tarra, my server. Delicious. Will be back next time I'm in Carlsbad.

Hidden amongst the typical beach front expensive and crowded dining options around del mar is this little gem with fantastic views from the patio and unpretentious food. They also carry an easy drinking sparkling rose wine lucien albrecht which is perfect to share over a sunset. Recommended!

Better than expected.

I couldn t disagree more with the negative reviews about service here. We made an OpenTable reservation requesting a table with an ocean view as my wife and I were celebrating a belated anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess who acknowledged our reservation promptly and wished us a happy anniversary. From the hostess to the bussers and particularly our waitress, all of the staff were attentive, courteous, and of good humor.

The food was very good, though priced more than we re accustomed. No surprises, except pleasant ones as our desert was complementary.

I definitely recommend this restaurant.

For a 2 shot latte in a 4+ size cup $7 served warm is bordering on extortion. Oatmeal $9 with separate raisins and brown sugar but no nuts likewise way overpriced. The service was lousy and had to remind the hostess we ate still missing items. Some of the problem is that the servers have no idea about the breakfast items because they are so far of their food chain. Did not expect to pay $35 for 2 lattes, 1 oatmeal, continental breakfast with toast. Go somewhere else there are plowed by of other places very near.

Great view at sunset. Wonderful menu and experience. It is pricey but worth going for the experience and fine food.

Very nice restaurant in the Hilton hotel. Views of the beach, outside seating, outside fireplace.

Excellent service, ocean views, nice atmosphere, great food!

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. Very cool bar and the bartender (name escapes me) was great too!

Went here for happy hour. We were told to sit on patio and that the server hadn't shown up.uet. so we sat and waited. I finally went in to at least get menus. When I got back to table a server was there with menus, waited again. We were that 25 minutes and left. I gave it 2 star for location. I doubt we will go back.

Best place in Carlsbad to view the sunset in the outside bar area.

I had an amazing filet with the stuffed lobster tail. Definitely a place to splurge because it is worth it. Spectacular service and recommendation from my server Brock.

Extremely rude staff. Horrendous service. Waited over 30 minutes with only two in front of me in a To-go line, ignored by order taker saying he was now off the clock. Finally got the order in and returned to patio to find reserved placards on every table. The host refused to seat me because it wasn t open . Picked up my to-go. Front desk and pool attendant said no table service, tables were first come first serve, but when I returned with my to-go food, I was escorted off the patio because they decided to start table service in that time. Other guests were seated on the patio eating theirs but they singled me out.

Zero hospitality and complete incompetence here. The woman in front of me waited 45 minutes for chips and salsa. The hotel is equally as terrible. Will NEVER return.

Usually get the beet salad and this time the cheese was gritty and not so flavorful. Tacos were mediocre. Rigo was very fast and efficient, but our server Jose was hard to find. Had to go get him for the check after my drink was empty for a long time.
