A bit expensive ..but it s zermatt and u pay the view

We had a wonderful stay at Cervo Zermatt. We received great service when we arrived in Zermatt at the train station. Since we wanted to go straight to the slopes on the first day, the hotel staff offered us to collect our luggage and bring it to our room.

After several wonderful hours on the slopes, the way to the hotel was only a stone's throw away. The hotel is right at the end of the valley run. In the morning, the way to the piste is also very short, as there is a lift right in front of the hotel to the Sonnegga valley station. At check-in we were warmly greeted with a welcome drink in the Bazar restaurant.

The room that we could move into afterwards was sensationally furnished. In addition to a large minibar, there was seating inside and outside on the balcony. The bathroom was beautiful and generously stocked with organic soaps and shower products that gave off a very pleasant smell. My favorite feature of the room was definitely the extremely comfortable and large bed and the exclusive view of Zermatt and its mountain ranges.

The spa was equipped with all the facilities we could wish for. Sauna, steam bath and a pool with a direct view of the Matterhorn.

Overall, our stay was carefree, relaxing and exciting. An unforgettable trip. I recommend the hotel to my friends

Top, when not one of the best mountain resorts in Zermatt. Order the classic Cervo Burger with Cervo fries.

We had an excellent stay at the CERVO this past weekend. It was our first time staying here, but we immediately felt right at home. This was due to the very friendly and always helpful staff, the great design and atmosphere of the hotel, the lovely room with a fantastic view and the delicious food and drinks in the hotel. During our stay we enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the Bazaar restaurant and had dinner at the Madre Nostra. We also enjoyed the Spa which offers great views of the mountains.

Also, we were very happy about the fact that one of the ski slopes ends right next to the hotel, which makes returning to the Cervo after a long day of skiing as easy as possible. :)

Very nice and exclusive boutique hotel with great attention to detail. We felt extremely comfortable and welcome from the very first moment. The room with a view of the Matterhorn was amazing!
The food was also terrific. From the breakfast buffet to dinner on the beautiful terrace, everything is prepared and served with a lot of love. Compliment!

Very nice welcome from the restaurant manager, even though we only go to the Cervo to eat once or twice a year on our ski holidays. We had a very nice table for two and were happy with the food. Table reservations should be made in good time, preferably electronically via the website.

A staple of Zermatt but personally I think the room design can be improved. Then it's a matter of taste. Service, location, ambiance etc. everything else is perfect.

The ultimate in the mountains, cozy comfort, gastronomy and professional, attentive and discreet service. In my opinion one of the best hotels in Switzerland ...

Probably one of my favorite spots in Switzerland. The atmosphere is great here.

Both restaurants are amazing and serve delicious food.

Cervo had a high rating on many platforms but we were very disapointed in which condition we found this place in Dec 2020. The hotel was not ready for our arrival, e.g. construction work was on going, ski room was not opened yet, dust everywhere incl.our room, from 5 restaurants/bars on the webpage only 1-2 opened, room cleaning only by request and not even properly done, restaurants reservations were mixed up several times. Despite nice design, beautiful spa area, nice food and good selection of wines, the place seemed poorly run and we felt that the hotel did not meet the 5* standard.

Very good stay, staff open minded, speaking FR/EN/DE. Nice room (We had an upgrade), quiet and perfect bed.
Unfortunatley the room was ready at 3PM (later than announced) and the seats in the restaurant were bad. Actually just a blanket on a stone bench...

High pierced restaurant food is ok but overpriced.
Staff is friendly but not trained enough for what you pay.
Would not recommend to stay there if you cannot eat out.

One of our most favorite hotels in Zermatt. Friendly and really family-like people! Great food - especially the fondue selection is still awesome! Great Apres Ski after a ski-day. A perfect choice for friends and couples!

Hotel is well situated within easy access to the slopes. Bedrooms are clean and neat.

Lovely location away from the crowds, with stunning views of the Matterhorn. We found it just wandering back from a bicycle ride and had lunch. The food was truly fantastic as was the service. A foodies delight. When we come back in a year or two we are planning to stay here.

We stayed at the Cervo for two nights last week and it was the perfect getaway. The new look of the hotel, rooms and restaurants harmonise really well. The NOMAD M double room is set up beautifully and the minibar is incredibly cool with all the special things I have never seen in another hotel. Thank you for everything!

A state-of-the-art hotel ... Between modernity and refinement in an atmosphere worthy of the region! The service is at the top ... I recommend one of the specialties of this establishment ... Fries with truffles and Parmesan ... A delight!

Very cosy top-class hotel. Rooms are scattered in nice chalets. the restaurant is very special and fancy-tasty. Breakfast is faboulous. But the most amazing is the magnetic view on the Matterhorn!

The place for apres-ski! Lively and cool atmosphere. Live band and great drinks. Note that it can be reached from town by taking the Sunnega lifts. Everything ends at 6pm!

Cozy Deluxe Room very clean, very spacious and well equipped, large bathroom unfortunately not heated enough (because too open), quality bedding, very nice view of the Matterhorn.

Cervo Puro Restaurant of excellent quality, original and tasty entrees and main dishes (a special mention for the cheeks of Pata Negra on mashed potatoes, famous), as are the desserts. Exemplary service, really nice staff.

Had a superb summer break in Cervo and it has became one of my must visit again resorts around the world. The room is cosy and exquisite with a perfect view of Matterhorn and the Zermatt down. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise and surprisingly we could see part of the milky way at night! The breakfast is full of choices and the restaurant Puro is amazing. We felt being warmly welcomed and cared by all staff. Nothing to complaint and we will visit again.

My stay at Cervo was fantastic from the moment I arrived to the moment that I left.The rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. The restaurant meals were delicious - we had a meal in a private room for our group and it was lovely to have the space to ourselves for something different. The breakfast was beautiful and the view overlooking Matterhorn was stunning - the weather even put on a snow show for us which was beautiful. The location was at the top of the hill (with a lift to get to the bottom) so the view over Zermatt was amazing. And a ski rrun finishes right at the door so the perfect place for apres ski before heading back to your room.

It is an awesome Hotel with great service and friendly staff. The combination of Apres Ski partying and the possibilities for relaxation is awesome. Coming back soon

We stayed at the Cervo for two nights at the beginning of December (when the non-hotel restaurants were still closed due to Corona) and had dinner in two restaurants. Both restaurants, the Madre Nostra and the Bazar, exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food in both restaurants is excellent.

Our room was lovingly and thoughtfully furnished from A-Z. In terms of room furnishings, nothing is missing. Particularly noteworthy is the minibar, which contains many unusual and local items. The aperitif in the room with a view of the Matterhorn was a little highlight.
We slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds and really enjoyed the fresh alpine air.

We would love to visit again.

A art of excellent service, an unbeatable location for sky and mountain lovers, with a view of the famous Matterhorn, Jacuzzi and spa in all chalets, two impressive restaurants with their mix of flavors, they take care of the environment and people , an excellent wine list. I would stay there again. 100% recommendable

The prices are pretty crazy, more expensive than Zurich! from 3 o'clock for after skiing but a great location, they even had live music and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant itself was also good, nice service and delicious fondue. We would go again.

We stayed in a Junior Suite that was quite spacious, with a separate bed and living room. The food is great, at the Bazzar as well as at Madre Nostra (good wine prices). The SPA is nice and offers everything you need with a sauna, a hot pool, steam room and many more things.

Overall a great experiance and perfect covid care...

Wonderful hotel! Our room (alpinist) was perfect for a short skiing, hiking and relaxing break. The location of the resort could not be better (in front of the Sunegga lift). The spa offers a unique moment of serenity and if you are lucky with the weather, you can enjoy a view of the Matterhorn from the pool at 30 degrees (the dream!). Be careful, you have to reserve your time at the spa (covid) and you have to do it the day before (it was full for our first day unfortunately). We were only able to go to the Bazaar restaurant (Madre nostra is only open on weekends), but the menu also offers a few dishes from the other two restaurants. The vegetarian dishes are exquisite. We recommend the sweet potato hummus and the grilled eggplant. The staff are young and very welcoming. And to finish, we liked the values in terms of sustainable development of this hotel (food purchase within 150 km, no television in the room, very few plastic containers).

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with all imaginable amenities. Delicious food, wonderful view, fantastic room and warm staff.

Good apreski at the end of the slopes un Zermatt after a beautiful run

When we were in Zermatt for three days last week, we had the pleasure of spending two nights in the wonderful Cervo.
The whole stay was perfect from A-Z.
We were last in Zermatt 4 years ago and still know the Cervo from its old style and can say with a clear conscience that the Cervo has created a new milestone with its renovation in Zermatt.
A completely new area was created from the bar where you can find the Bazar restaurant today. In the bazaar, the CERVO team serves many different vegetarian dishes in sharing style. We were totally impressed by the oriental North African design. The Puro is also being redesigned and today functions as Madre Nostra with an Italian chef from Rome. This conjures up typical Italian dishes at the highest level. The entire staff of the house was extremely friendly, warm, competent and courteous. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back very soon. Many thanks to the entire Cervo team for this unforgettable stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful view of Matterhorn from the room! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The resort is well connected to the city centre with a lift which is 24 hours operational. Overall our stay was excellent!

All staff without exception are friendly attentive always there to help. Thats a great achievement with that many employees. Room was delightful and private with views of the Matterhorn. Apres ski live music and vibe could not have been more fun. And the music stops sharp at 6 so dont worry is a short and sweet burst of fun. Older crowd not too many youngsters. Breakfasts were very extensive and a great reason to crawl out of bed.

Beautiful hotel with really nice bathrooms. Apres-ski is also recommended. Although the hotel is not in the center, it is well connected to "village life" via the elevator in front of the hotel.
