Great server! Ordered the taco salad with grilled chicken. It was a good size salad but the chicken was dry and flavorless. The dressing was flavorless as well. The chicken wasn't cut all the way through. Fries were good.

I've been to other Umami Burgers and loved it. However my experience at this location was one of the worst. Food took too long to come out and when it did there was a long strand of hair in my drink and the meat was undercooked. Very disappointed.

Decided to come out here again after eating at their LA location at The Grove.

Burgers took so long to come out, we wondered if they forgot about our order. Same happened for our neighbor. Our server had to double-check to see what happened with our order when she also noticed it took too long. We ordered the same burger - both medium rare, but they were well done and the bread was crispy and hard.

So much quality lost since the last time we came out here about a year ago.

Friendly service, but horrible food. We will not be coming back and would definitely not recommend this location.

I ordered from my job through doordash. I opened my food which was supposed to be a cheeseburger only pickles. Instead I had a burger with lettuce and Tomatoes but it wasent a burger or even the shape of one. It was uncooked minced meat on my bun. Yes, hamburger meat, uncooked. I called to make sure it was the restuarant and not the door dasher. She said it was supposed to be like that. I understand undercooked or a burger so good it falls apart, but this was uncooked raw meat. I am appalled and disgusted. I tried to eat the ice cold fries but threw everything in the garage, scared to get poisoned.

This is for the day they gave away a burger and fries to all customers. We did have a wait for a table, but I expected that. We got there about 8:15pm and got a table about 9pm. The burger and fries were amazing. I thought about a shake, but didn't want that much sugar late at night. We left a good tip and I'll be back. They're open late on Fridays and Saturdays (to 11pm) which is great. Fantastic food. We went for the impossible burger, and we were not disappointed. However, service was very slow and sporadic. Wine glasses remained empty for quite some time, and every refill was initiated by us asking the bartender to find our waiter for us.

One of the most poorly run restaurants I have ever seen. I've worked in service for 10 years and was appalled by even trying to pick up a to go order. I had to check the bag and a goof thing because they forgot one of my three things. Maybe they had an off night?

The truffle burger was small and did not have much truffle flavor to me. I have had this burger before a few years ago at LAX and it was exemplary.
The garlic aioli was too pungent because of the raw garlic; why not roast the garlic for a better flavor?
The koelsch beer is served in thr wrong type of glass.

I've eaten here only twice, once I ordered an Ahi burger and beers which were at happy hour pricing. Most recently we ordered " Impossible Burgers" which took longer to emerge from kitchen than anticipated. We killed two appetizers ( a delicious spicy edamame, and boring battered frozen sweet potato fries) and some beers waiting for the burgers. It was pleasant on the outdoor patio, and the place only had a few active tables going on inside on a Sunday eve.

Despite being the most expensive menu items, the "Impossible Burger" preparation seemed an afterthought, arriving nearly 30 minutes later grey and dry inside unlike the marketing materials I had seen prior which raved about the high moisture content and pink fleshy faux hemoglobin rich interior. The exterior of the patty was crisp, but closer to blackened than a well cared for burger. The suggested menu serving was with American Cheese but we opted for white cheddar which while melted, seemed had gone long past mere bubbling and seemed to me almost cooked away and evaporated on the surface of the burger.

We devoured our burgers anyway despite any apprehensions. I was a little disappointed and will have to go back and see if this was an aberration or what the hype was all about. Our server was attentive, helpful and polite, and said "Impossible Foods" trained them to crisp their genetically modified veggie burgers on purpose. Really?

Waiter doesn't write down order.....forgets the appetizer we ordered, then kept telling us the appetizer is on the way, but we are almost finished with our food . Also I ordered 3 slider dish and that order was also incorrect. SOOOO maybe writing down the order would have helped, just a thought. Onion rings were extremely greasy and mostly batter.

Tried this place for the first time. Overall it was really good! Amazing service, nice big selection of food! I got the Cali burger and it was okay. I think next time I'll try something a little more adventurous! The cheesy tots and onion rings were fantastic!

Best burgers ever!

Awesome burger joint! The bun really holds up to the burger, and the options are pretty varried. It's amazing that they make all sauces in house. The best fries, by far, are the maple bacon sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries aren't limp like some can be. Worth a trip to Oakland just for this place alone.

OMG the burgers and the sauces and the cheesy tots were awesome. I love the pickles bit of sweet and savory to clean the palate the house ketchup out of this world it took me back to my childhood so good I will put it on everything. I give them 5 stars
