Centre Shaw Centre Review

I was working at a booth for a conference at the Shaw Centre and I had an amazing experience. I have to say that the staff there are so exceptional. they really went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had the best possible experience. I was not even an attendee but the staff ensured I always had water and food. They anticipated the needs of the people and did everything they could to ensure a good experience. I don't write reviews often but I felt that they work and professionalism of the team had to be mentioned somewhere. Specifically, Willy was an exceptional staff member and a real treat to deal with. The world needs more people like him :)

Parking sucks and the exits and entrances are very far apart.

Excellent conference venue. Modern and spacious facilities. Audio visual set-up works well. One of the best conference venues I have been to.

Great event location. Incredible views of downtown Ottawa, multiple levels and loads of space. Very easy to reach through public transport and parking options close by.

Very nice. But it's really easy to get lost when trim too find that place from the underground parking lot or from there Rideau Centre.

Just drove past with the help of Ottawa Transit Authority.
The Christmas lights reflect beautifully against this modern architecture.

A fantastic venue for large corporate events and conferences. Very clean, excellent layout and a spectacular view of the Parliament buildings.

Very impressed with the Shaw Centre. Beautiful rooms, lots of staff. The food was very impressive and way above what I would normally expect from a conference centre.

Nice place and very clean. I went there for Tony Robbin's conference !! Chair very uncomfortable. Lack of parking. For the rest it's ok.

What an amazing facility. Super clean, friendly staff and large spaces. I take transit so I can't speak to the parking. But the bus loop is a 2 minute walk away and the center is attached to the mall.

Centrally located with all the amenities you could need or want.

Big convention center. Great views. Easy to get around.

Attended Women's Show weekend . Great venue. VERY EXPENSIVE PARKING!! $20

Great location, food, and staff. I have attended several conferences here over the past couple of years and I have never been disappointed.

Just WOW. As far as convention centers go this place is spectacular. Perfect for all maners of events. Plan an event with the Shaw Center as your venue and your guests will be awestruck.

Cool building but the butlery-looking dude shooed me away when I tried taking a croissant from some people's reception area.

Excellent venue with beautiful views of downtown Ottawa

I come here often for different events and I always have a good time and get to meet interesting people here.

The venue supplies a variety of interesting treats as well Starbucks coffee. Portion sizes are a problem, as they provide small dishes. Bigger coffee cups would reduce waste. Side walks were not well kept, and sidewalks provided a risk for hip fractures. Easy access to shopping, which helps with fashion but hinders bank account.

Excellent experience. Delicious food and staff quickly found a solution to my gluten allergy.

Great space, just minus a star for having bad cell service and no free WiFi.

Very nice convention center in the heart of downtown

One of the nicest looking building from the outside in the city. The inside is very functional for the hundreds of different types of functions this facility hosts every year. Parking is directly connected to the building which is great in the winter.
