A very special building. Worth the vist just for the architecture and often they have interesting contemporary art exhibitions inside
A very special building. Worth the vist just for the architecture and often they have interesting contemporary art exhibitions inside
Very disappointed by the exhibitions and all, no access and yet I came many times in the 1990s, I regret this time of the Center Pompidou ... Interesting bookstore ....
Just walk to the library and pick up random book, sit and read half hour and you will feel yourself more like a human than app for your phone
Mostly went there for Brancusi's studio remake. Too unorganized for my taste
12,000 m2 of works of art by Klein, Tinguely, Ernst, Brancusi, Kandinsky, Duchamp ... The collections offer a complete overview of Western creation in the 20th century. The high-rise building has 10 floors. Full price 14 euros.
Open late, has a bar, great art, what more do you need?
The exteriors are poorly maintained, although the collection is exquisite.
Unmissable art place. The best in my opinion in Paris.
Eat at Cafe George on level 5 with an awesome view of Paris when the smog is not heavy. You can eat here by entering an elevator on the outside of the building without an entrance ticket.
I just want to say I was extremely lucky to have visited this museum as it is now my second favorite museum after Hermitage in Saint-Petersburg.
Make sure not to miss it if you're into avant-garde, modern art, etc. Absolutely worth the visit, and even not once.
Where to begin? Very modern items as well as older modern favourites. DuChamp? Picasso? Braque? All good. View from terrace is great.
Great place for wonderful works and for under-18s it's free
Superb place of openness and artistIque live this lively center Mr. Pompidou who allowed this ...
I don t like modern art, but the outside is very impressive
An astounding contemporary and modern art museum; perhaps the best in the world.
Peculiar architecture. Nice to visit if you like modern art.
Museum of Contemporary Art. Modern building with works by Miro, Kandinsky. Do not forget about Brancusi's workshop in front of the museum.
I liked seeing the paintings and art more.
The rest not much to see in my opinion

Incredible museum, modern art and exibits. Worth the visit.
Make sure to check out the contemporary art gallery
I went to the festival and I can see the present in contemporary art. It's very big but there is also an escalator. At the lounge bar on the rooftop, the cattail melted Char's heart. The fifth floor pictures were good individually
Superb building.
Expo on prehistory provided and varied.
Exceptional museum to discover contemporary art in both the collection and its organization.
Only big downside, the entire staff (with the exception of agents home DRC) is very unpleasant with visitors, and obviously does not appreciate being disturbed in its incessant private conversations.
If I have to advise a job cushy it will be at the Center Georges Pompidou ..
Very beautiful exhibitions! And very nice view on the top floor.
Great restaurant light. Huge windows to let the eyes see across this great City. Lovely roof terrace and impeccable staff.
Square closed for works. You go 'on purpose to see the street performers and performing groups of young people get distracted. With the closed square it makes no sense to go there
Although it has a long history, it still does not detract from the appearance of the ultra-modern building at that time.
A magical place in the heart of Paris, always interesting exhibitions ...
Kinda weird outside - but excellent place for any exhibition inside.
The area surrounding the Pompidou Center, from the Hotel de Ville and all street around are prohibited to vehicles of any kind - but cycles darted everywhere.
Kind of a tourist trap of small tour Eifelle Keychain and "I Paris" fridge magnets.
Beautiful permanent and temporary exhibitions. Really nice place
The centre has a very interesting architecture with a modern design in contrast to most buildings in Paris. Has several exhibits, a Museum of Modern Art, cinema, library and huge art bookstore, shop, cafe, and restaurant with great view of the city. Its a very interesting and stimulating place to visit. Highly recommend.
It was hard to understand the intricacies of contemporary art, so it was not much to think about. The building looks beautiful.
Lovely strange diverse museum library & true community center. Definitely has a radical edge, with a challenging and modern collection. When we went it was a great youth engagement night with a bunch of extra events.
Museum pass only allows regular exhibitions. The special exhibition is not available with museum pass
Excellent - the restaurant George on the top floor is a great spot
Immense and fascinating, as well as the district that in the evening turns into a space frequented by young students. Free entry for young people under the age of 26 residing in the European Union. The museum inside really struck me !!!
Doable in one afternoon, nice temporwty exhibitions
If like art go here. If you don't, don't! Not much more that can be said about art museums.
This is a fantastic place to visit and spend the entire day. Next time I'm in Paris, I will visit this place again!
Honestly not something I would recommend. I was expecting much more. I am disappointed by the fact the the Pompidou expect you to pay extras for almost everything. It is overrated and not worth the visit.
It's a marvel of architecture if you are a fan of post modern architecture. The square outside is a very happening place. There are really good eating places the streets near the centre. Perfect for a toilet stop as well if there are not long queues.
Prehistoric Exhibition ... very interesting very rich exhibition. UFO so unusual proposal.
There are a lot of the event for children and there are many activity and library and cinema so it's interesting to go there
Constantin Brancusi, a major artist in the history of modern sculpture, was born in Romania in 1876, and went on to live in France from 1904 to 1957. He created most of his works in the workshops which he occupied in the 15th arrondissement. In his will, he left his entire workshop, reconstructed on the piazza of the Centre Pompidou in 1997, to the French state. It features a unique collection of 137 sculptures, 87 pedestals, 41 drawings, 2 paintings and more than 1,600 photographic glass plates and original photos by the artist.

A work of contemporary art, an innovative structure, the fundamental stage of a possible visit to Paris.
It welcomes the decontextualized structure with respect to the elevations of the neighboring buildings.
Perfect place for visit, after drink vine and to go around the city centre...
Must do on Paris. Entry to 14 euros. Free for children under 12 years old. Always surprising to get in the escalators (often out of order) good restaurant on the top floor
If you can only visit two museums in Paris, see the Louvre for historical art and the Pompidou for modern art. Even if you're as clueless about modern art as I am, you're sure to recognize the names and pieces in this museum. It's huge and open at night, so it's a good place to spend a few hours before/after dinner.
There is no merit to enter entrance fee. There is not a lot higher than this building in the vicinity of Dan, and scenery is good
What organization, what a welcome, the French of course .. !!!! Super badly organized.
Even just to go to the bookstore you are forced to queue and in the sun! Frankly shame for the tourists.
It was a good experience. The type of art presented will not be suitable for everyone, but it is still interesting. Be careful, however, that the wait for certain exhibitions is sometimes very long. The view is very nice to see a large part of Paris. It s something to do at least once.
Mandatory stop Inspiring exhibitions, installations and! Do not forget to stop by the bookstore and the store ... l
Even for the view you habe to pay 5 Euro... But it is worth it!
Chilled out place where you can seat in the floor and look around. There are nice places around.
Spent around two hours walking around all of the exhibits. Was also a Very good view from the top. Only loses a star because of the extreme heat in the outside escalators!
Over all it is good but that s not sufficient to describe the place. It s a huge museum with permanent and changing exhibits. The permanent exhibits are many, varied and nice - perhaps too much to take in all at once. Some would find it too large and intimidating. The changing exhibits were average, but I suppose that s just my view.
Obviously, there are huge crowds so there are some hours that are good to go in and others when everyone else is also trying. I have usually found the evening hours, typically after 6pm the best time to try and visit.
The outside area with fountains and greens are nice.
An excellent collection of modern art, housed in an eclectic museum that complements the avant garde collection. Buy tickets online to avoid queues.
Rejected for several years by queues, a first with the reservation on the site. 20 minutes waiting at the entrance then 20 more for Bacon ..... A must do but I remained on my hunger.
Great restaurant on the roof with panoramic views of Paris.
Awesome. Unfortunately, we were starved when we got there, so we rushed our trip a bit. 5 euros for water not so cool, but exhibits were very cool.
A museum with a very good architecture and with a library containing a wide range of products!
The entrance changed and the lined up system became obscure,
But it's good
Bacon I loved it.
Decent modern art Gallary, don't expect too much post 1990s.
There are no tall buildings around, overlooking the cityscape of Paris. The building is also fashionable and sells various souvenirs.
Very good place to see many different exhibitions! Change regularly ...
