I had pleasant experiences buying custom doors from Central Woodwork about 7 years ago, but now they are so busy that they do not value their customers at all- because another one will come in the door right behind you. I was treated rudely on the phone, and it took weeks to get anyone to get back to me via email. Other quote requests went unanswered and visiting in person was not any more pleasant. I purchased 5 doors but they did not make it easy, and I felt like I was bothering them. Finally took my business to a competitor to get the last two doors. Only bright spot was the crew at the receiving docks who were friendly and helpful.

Don't expect good customer service here. The men in the back that hand the materials over are not helpful at all. They rolled their eyes when asked to cut down to 14 instead of 16 like they were planning to. They did not help load the material (like ABC Wholesale does), they even threw the smaller pieces that were out of reach onto the floor with absolutely no care and were just all around crabby. Make sure you're prepared to work when you get there.

Very helpful, they referred me to a competitor because they didn't have the product I needed.

I had previously posted a review about a 9 ft door unit we ordered that wasn't sealed properly by the company and was warping constantly. The sales associate we had worked with had left the company (or been dismissed I'm not sure) and it became clear that he should've never recommended 9 ft wood doors for an exterior location and should have notified us that the 9ft doors couldn't be sealed properly by the manufacturer. I was very unhappy with how everything was being handled but since then Amy has solved our problem. She gave us a full refund for the doors as well as payment to reimburse the money we spent getting them stained and installed. Although they were slow responding at first, I am very happy with how they solved this unfortunate situation.

Great customer service!! Love that it's family owned, and they didn't make me feel like I was stupid in the slightest.

If you are in the market for millwork, this is your go to spot. Not only are the customer service professionals knowledgeable but they are kind and patient as well.

Whether you are working with a contractor or going to try your hand at it yourself (I don t recommend this by the way unless you have solid experience) the selection of products and craftsmanship that accompany the products I have purchased from here greatly outshines their competitors.

Best prices in town, especially on doors, as all vendors buy doors here. Knowledgeable staff. Glad at least one rich family own and operates a window and door company

They they have everything have you need or can order it. If you know windows and doors it's super easy but if your knowledge is from YouTube or HGTV then find someone with experience to assist you.

The worst service I have ever seen, I've bought 4 doors from them and they've never got one right. This was the last straw, I went in to Pick up my door that was ready 3 days prior, When I got there the attendant said there were no hinges on it and if I wait 10 minutes my frame and the door will be completed. So I waited, and waited, and waited 55 minutes later I talk to the man again and he said it's still not completed yet. I took off work today to go pick up the door because me and my wife have 3 children, Last time she was there the same thing happened and she had to wait 35 minutes with an 8, 5 and 3 year old in the warehouse. I will never ever buy anything from this company and I strongly suggest you don't either. Unless you are a builder purchasing 75 doors you are dirt to them! Even if they were to offer me a free door I would burn it before I ever let anything from that company go into my house.

Long delays for picking up orders. Always seems disorganized.

I initially had a problem trying to place an order. However, the manager, Amy Smith, contacted me and expressed concern about the confusion, and was amazingly gracious to resolve the situation quickly. She immediately handled my order, and followed up with an email, which was deeply appreciated.

I am very, more than very, satisfied with the service I have received. I trust that, should the need arise, I will definitely come back to Central Woodwork for future products for my clients.

Zero ethics.

They re scheduled to replace the trim on our windows for my home and those around me. We agreed to 5:00pm Friday.

I come home from lunch 1:00pm Wednesday, and there are two men with a ladder going up to my 3rd floor.

I greet them. Ask them what s going on. They state they just got off the phone with the lady who lives here. I tell them they must be confused because my home isn t due until Friday at 5. They move out.

I call their office and speak to the manager to confirm it s his crew and not some stranger danger nonsense. He confirms and says, well they can do it since they re there

You want people I don t know scaling the 3 floors of my home to do work without wearing a harness or me knowledgeable about what is going on with MY property?

I tell him we agreed on 5 Friday so it s going to be 5 Friday. If they wanted to change the time, then they could have scheduled it with me.

Because I have surveillance, I pulled it. The audio was of their crew showing up to my home saying my home number and that she s scheduled for 5 Friday but I m going to be on the road by then .

I called their office. Told them to stay off my property. If they needed to change our appointment to accommodate, they could have asked. But your whole crew and manager agreed to come to my home and scale 35+ ft in the air to do work without my knowledge or agreement on my home?

No. The lie from both the Office and the crew was the icing on the cake. If you can t be honest with me, then how are you going to do honest work on my home?

Logan Thompson with Central Woodwork was our salesman and helped us buy a beautiful mahogany exterior front door. Due to miscommunication, the door we initially received was not the one we wanted. Logan did an outstanding job of correcting the matter. Mistakes are bound to happen from time to time, but Cenwood cares enough to get it right. Awesome customer service - I highly recommend these guys!

I have been using Central Woodwork for 20 years and they continue to have good prices and great service. The Contractor sales team, lead by Mrs. Smith, is top notch. They stand behind their products and strive to make every order run smoothly.

Can't get help from them, terrible customer service...

I had a warranty issue with one Windsor window out of dozens installed on our 10 year old house. Amy at Central worked with me. Her service was exceptional. She arranged to have the window fabricated, even included delivery and never required any kind of payment. Highly recommended.

Worse costumer service ever, i place a special order they mess up ordering the wrong product and just simply say i am sorry nothing i can do you have to wait another week for your items , now my clients are upset because they have small children that can t go upstairs because The railing And balusters are not done , i ask they to do expedite shipping their answer was they don t do that , this is the second time this happen on a special order , this company don t care for costumer service at all , very BAD COMPLETELY

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I would rather call Comcast customer service than deal with these people again.

I ordered the most beautiful door. It was special order. I Was told 4 to 6 weeks, got it in 7 weeks. The door was ordered and requested a right handed door.
I got a left handed door..Door REORDERED, another 4 to 6 weeks..Customer service experience Deluxe times XFinity.. waiting on a new door..stay tuned.. prayerfully this review has a happy ending.

Terrible customer service. Attempted to contact the outside salesperson 8 different times to discuss product delivered (after being delivered 3 weeks late on a 2 week estimated timeline) and never received a single return call. Absolutely unacceptable.

We ordered 11 doors from Logan over the phone and I was worried since I would not be there when they arrived there might be a problem with them. Wrong! We got them in a couple of days, the contractor hung them, They were just what I ordered, right on time and beautiful doors. I wish I would have ordered my windows from them also.
Visit their showroom, it is worth the trip. They have each door, installed, working, and displayed with the moldings and painted each differently. I found that very helpful.
I will definitely order from Central again when it is time for the addition. Kudos to Logan for knowing exactly what questions to ask to get me the doors that I had hoped for with the bronze hardware and chosen trim. Thanks Logan! And Central!

Great Place for hiring Minorities and the people are nice that work there.

Excellent service!. Even though they didn't have the specialty profiles in stock that I needed and could have special ordered them, they graciously referred me to another vendor in town that did stock them so I could pick them up today. They also promptly returned my calls. Ask for Blake when you call.
