Really nice. Of course Central Park is an amazing place. I've been here 6 times now, and I still haven't seen all of it. There's always.something different to see ands enjoy. You DON'T need the touts outside telling you where to go, or offering you tours telling you " it's the only way to see the park, and you won't get the history without the tours*. Just say NO, and wander around yourself. Buy an official map at the stand INSIDE the Columbus Circle entrance for instance, and that's the most you really need. There are performers all throughout the park that you can choose to donate to. And of course, try a genuine NY hot dog with sauerkraut and onion, mustard and ketchup.

My favorite music venue in NYC. it is outdoor venue with a 4000-5000 capacity. Lots of free shows spanning rock, jazz, folk, latin, world, classical, dance etc. If you live local, become a member. it is definitely worth it

It's a fun place to sebe a concert, not too crazy, and convenient to get to. The food was actually pretty good. The bathroom situation was not so much. On one side there were only four portopotties, and the line wasn't too bad, but the things were filthy by most of the way through the concert. The sound quality was good. There was a special seating area, and not a ton of seating in bleachers, but it was plenty since most people were standing. Getting in was quick. They did a bag check, I didn't check the rules beforehand.

I went to enjoy the B52 concert. A spectacular setting in the middle of the park. Full of security and control. Public toilets. I only saw two negative things, one is that if you enter the event you cannot leave and the other is that despite the security, they cannot control well that people smoke in the event.
But without a doubt, it can be enjoyed in full

Very comfortable as opposed to the Today Show Summer Concert. If you want to come see your fav artist, come at 3:00 am. There will be a bunch of people in line already. I usually go with my go to coffee and a bagel and bottle of water. They don't accept bags or any outside drinks. They do have some vendors inside while stage is setup but you don't want to loose your audience place.

Went to see the Metropolitan Opera's summer recital. I'd have given it five stars but after waiting on line for over an hour, I got a seat in the bleachers. I'm ok with that. But then, the people that came in last got seats right up front. (I'm talking front rows, in a chair, center stage)That was very annoying. Need better management of the seating arrangements.

I worked at Summer Stage tonight we're as Corine Bailey Rae performed... The crowd was sexy yet super diversified I absolutely loved the connection between the people from all over the world might I add... However I hate festival smell. I thought I was going to catch a sinus infection to much horse poop air to the left turn your head right your in a port-o-potty cloud... But besides that it was sick I want to go back next week as a guest. The fashion was also very cool but it's NYC a fashion capital of course, therefore what I expected to be a paradigm of a moving+ living thrift store effect, the usual bohemian antics but nope; their were Boho Chic head turners with indie beer mugga all over their faces throughout the event! One girl was tall and gorg modeling in a Helmet Lang look on the Capital one stage. And I met the coolest people from Columbia they were the jam. Sorry I don't have photos, my phone battery was a dead cell upon arrival and so I plugged in and focused on my task at that time. On the way over Transportation sucked. I caught the D train to work thinking to myself oh well it's just Central Park right? Well Central Park is huge and left me to have to walk from 59st Columbus Circle to 71st and 5th Ave

Central Park Summerstage one of the BEST outdoor venues. They always have great international, local, signed and independent artists. They also have great DJ dance parties from time to time (& should do MORE!)

It was just as I thought it would be, great atmosphere, sound was not overly loud. It was an enjoyable experience except for the few people smoking, eventhough there were signs all over that the venue was smoke free. Wish security patrol the area often to discourage smoking.
