Simply amazing. An oasis of calm. So many recognisable locations from film/TV. The high rise buildings surrounding the park give the impression of growing amongst the trees.

Gorgeous park. Really provides some nice serenity compared to the business of the city. A must see in New York.
What else is there to say that hasn't been said. A true gem in the heart of NYC. Perfect escape from the grind of the city. Has every amenity you could want and plenty of space to yourself.
A very well kept trail of nature. The smell of trees was powerful enough to get past the face mask and the air was noticably nicer.
First time visit to NYC and Central Park was so much more than what I expected. There are so many sights, statues, bridges and more to take in within the park. The feeling of being in the midst of such a huge city but with nature all around was surreal. A definite must do for those who haven't been!
I was only able to venture throught the south end of the park but what I saw was so amazing. This has to be the coolest park in the world. There are castles, statues, ponds, dance classes, city views, a carnival, a nature reserve, and the list goes on and on of all the things that make this park so magical.
One of the most beautiful places in the world. Must visit for everyone who visits New York City.
I had a wonderful time riding my bike in Central Park. Although kind of stressful because the bike needed to be returned every 30 minutes, it was definitely exhilarating.
I truly do love to come here to spend an afternoon relaxing and enjoying a quiet spot. There are so many areas in Central Park that you could get lost in. Once you get deep enough into the park, you kind of forget that you are surrounded by anything but trees. Bring a blanket, some food, and enjoy the park!
Its Central Park, what is there not to love. My favorite place to eat my lunch and relax. A much needed oasis in the middle of our city.
It's hard to believe that you can escape all the brick and mortar and simply enjoy the serene nature.
Weird people here but super cool place. I got to take a picture with a snake lol
This was my daughter's first time. She's seven. She loved it.
Nice place to relax and spend some time with friends.
Not as grand as i remembered as a kid, but still very much the iconic landmark of nyc. It's not new york without it, i mean the rats need a home too. And you can cut thru the park & end up at the met, very convenient indeed.
Central park is a gorgeous escape from the streets of New York, but at the same time a reminder of why NYC is so amazing. Where can you see a gorgeous bed of flowers overlooking a baseball field at the bottom of the hill. Great for family time, romantic walks and a great taste of nature
Central Park was neat to see, do try to walk it you will never get to all the sights. We paid for bike ride, which was a little expensive but worth it to get to see everything
A lot to see and a lot to do. Walking, biking, jogging, sunbathing, picnicking, playing catch or a game of chess. There is some artwork and specialty locations. A green oasis in the city and especially during the pandemic.
Very beautiful place. There's horses you can ride around a small castle you can take pictures with, would be a great place for a wedding if they allow it.
Amazing example of Olmstead the original American Landscape architect growing into is vision in every passing year. Amazing in so many ways
Central Park is a must-see for all travelers and locals in New York! It is wonderful to see so much green in such a large city! I was afraid that it would be overcrowded, but it seemed like there was the perfect amount of people there. The architecture was lovely, as was the weather while we were walking around (it was Sept. 18, 2019 for more detail). It is so wonderful that this free park exists.
Fun place to Visit when you are New York City, and explore the Park, by walking or to take a Carriages Ride throughout the Park to see all the wonderful scenery, and look at the New York City's Tallest Buildings in The World.!!
Love the vibe here!!!
Lovely music with great view.
Good place to hangout, picnic, meet friends, play music, do exercise, reading and do nothing!
First time visiting NYC and a walk through Central Park was a must. Everything had a coating of snow the day we visited but it was still lovely to walk through. It's huge so we just went through part and ended up at the Sheep's Meadow. No sheep but a beautiful view of the city skyline.
Best place to be to relax. I went there at a hot sunny day and I spent the day enjoying the view of huge buildings.
The lungs of New York City! Rent a bicycle and ride the park at a leisure pace and take the scenery in! It's a great respite from the concrete jungle that New York is!
One of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to. It absolutely lives up to the reputation placed upon it for decades. You could easily spend an entire day here. And you probably should.
Stroll through some of the key highlights of eastern and southern Central Park in October 2019
This is a really nice park. A much appreciated spot of nature in the middle of NYC. Nice place to take a break of the stressing NYC lifestyle, or eat a sandwich.
There is also interesting stuff to see like the Central Park Zoo. It's beautiful in summer.
A must to see if you visit NYC!
It's a park that tends to have a lot of tourists. It is nice in the mornings when it is empty.
It's a very big and nice park, located in the middle of Manhattan. This park in frequented by runners and also local people and tourists.
There are a lot of different kind of places there, waterfalls, lakes and even a pool. There are a lot of different paths, trails and roads. Roads are split in different lanes for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles with an engine.
At night there's light in roads and some trails, and lawn closes at dawn, so you have all the sunlight to chill on the lawn.
By the way, there are a lot of benches and fountains over the trails in case you need to drink and sit down.
If you want to take nice photos you should go to the big lake at both night and day. You can take really nice photos with the buildings at the back.
"A park is just nature with regulations." This is quite a perplexing park, it's surrounded by city on every side but you almost can't tell from inside the park... but you know... Anyway its a blessing to have something to escape to when the city gets overwhelming, even for a tourist.
Central Park is one of my favourite spots, whenever I am visiting NYC. It's an excellent option to escape from the concrete jungle. There are so many things to see inside, that biking is always for me the best option, as the Park is 848 acres big, which translates to over 39 million square feet.
nature could be found in the big city. Can I call another world?...
Beautiful Park with stunning scenic views everywhere. Great place to cycle so make sure you rent out some bikes and definitely have a hotdog from one of the iconic NY bodegas
Nice summer troll through the park was nice! Next time I will try the horse drawn carriage, it looked like some fun!
I love Central Park. You can spend a quiet day taking a stroll, jog, admire its different monuments, or enjoy the activities they have advertised on their website.
What a beautiful place to get away from it all in the heart of the city. So many birds and squirrels made it delightful and there are lovely gardens and different terrains to explore. A wonderful spot for a picnic lunch or a break after a busy day in one of the nearby museums.
Lovely place to walk and enjoy the views that sunrround the beautiful park.
It's a most to go place if ur near, amazing a relaxing
The most beautiful park in the city. Great to use a bike or just to sit on the benches.
There are good times to be had here. Its one of my daughters favorite places, and mine as well. Im originally from chicago, which does urban parks very well, but this is unparalleled. There's nothing else like it.
Theres walking, climbing, restaurants, sights, boats.... just so many things to do.
just keep your wits about you while you do it....

What a wonderful park! It's a long walk, but so worth it. There's so much to do and see here. Definitely see it
Excellent park with preserved natural surroundings ,ample of space to play around, for jogging, running, cycling even Boating Etc.
Specially recommended for families and kids picnic. One can enjoy horse cart ride also.
I really loved Central Park in the heart of Manhattan, NY.
Really big park with several entrances. Very clean and tidy, well used by various ages. If you're visiting, the bike or horse tours are informative. A must see if in New York.
Very beautiful. Came during spring time and although it was raining it turned out well. We were able to find parking a few block down near the Met museum and it wasn't crowded. Had a great time and was peaceful. Checked off an item of my kid's things to do which was to see the Balto memorial.
I one word: amazing. The Central Park is must see in NYC. Walk or bike across the park. Yo won't regret!
Beautiful park year round! Great spot to explore as a tourist or run, walk, bike or bring your dog if you are a local! LOVE strawberry fields John Lennon s memorial.
Imagine all the people living life in peace.
Fantastic place, who new a hustling bustling city like NY could have such an amazing park with incredible wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyed getting a boat which sas cheap as chips I might add and sailing amongst the Turtles. Which were a big surprise to myself.
Easily navigable, lots of great places to see nearby, and amazing vibe! Walk across the park east to west or the other way round. Museum of Natural History on the west side, Goggenheim on the east. Lush green park in the middle of NYC. Lots of great street food and at great price! Something available for everybody. For best parking, use SpotHero app, anywhere in NYC and in most other cities. I used it and found the best parking rates at my own time and rates. This place is simply fabulous, and you just cannot miss this!
Jewel of Manhattan in all seasons. Beautiful urban park with miles of gravel-lined running/walking trails and a bike/run path. Lots of birds to watch, and areas to explore. Easily accessible by subway.
Very nice park and it s huge too. You can work out, ride your bike, have gatherings etc.... The grass is clean so people usually just have picnics there. There are benches you can sit on, read a book or just admire the nice greenery. There s a playground for kids and a lake full of fish, ducks and turtles. It s illegal to catch fish there but you can do so and put the fish back in the lake. So it s a very nice family spot overall.
A natural oasis in the middle of the urban life of Manhattan. Central Park is the go to destination for spending the day, gathering your thoughts and enjoying a nice fall afternoon. an excellent destination onto itself. Enjoy just wandering around seeing the people and enjoying nature. Enjoy!
It was lovely. Only issue, couldn't find a bathroom. Had to pay $5.00 to use the bathroom at the skating rink. But it's NYC. Gotta come prepared!
Is definitely a beautiful place and a must see and walk around.
Nostalgia to the max, can't do New York without a walk in central park, thick of all the movies that were filmed there from Ghostbusters to spider-man with iconic films like Home Alone 2 and Serendipity, just avoid the tourist traps, those guys trying to sell you maps to the park, or claiming they'll give you a great deal on a horse drawn carriage ride, wear hiking shoes, grounds are uneven and it's easy to slip or hurt yourself.
Need to escape the city or just breathe and think for a minute? Central Park can be that safe haven you need. I love N.Y.C, it's been my home since birth. But everyone needs a New York Minute to just breathe. Best spots are near where the water is running.
A lakeside with many spots to be relaxed and get chilled out. Believe me try your one weekend over there you gonna enjoy. And if you do love to spend time with your family visit over there once.
It's nice... Wouldn't really recommend it for tourists (except as your morning run or stroll destination)... The skyline surrounding the garden is a unique and interesting feature though..
I went there last year and it was big and I was having fun in the park omg my family also walked to the rocky mountain with me i give it a 5 star review
Beautiful park, right in the middle of the city... there was few events happening the day I went. The pond reminded me of a Disney movie, super cute another must-see in NYC
One my all time favourite places to chill in NYC...
Fantastic to step out of the busy city for a few hours and just stroll. Expansive very well kept gardens within easy reach of the city where you can pop in and out and visit other well known spots on your visit.
Big, beautiful, scenic, peaceful and for all kinds of outdoor activities. Lots of playgrounds and nice grassy areas to chill out or spend the day walking around exploring.
Central Park is a lovely place to go on a walk, hang out with friends or go for a run. It's large and beautiful and a little easy to get lost in, but with a wide variety of things to do and see, this place is great!
Awesome park to hang our or during sports activities
Imagine walking your daughter down the aisle for the first time. Thats what it feels like to walk through the entrance of Central Park.
You can spend a week in the park and not see it all!
This is an amazing park!!! Such beauty and loads of fun for kids and everyone.
Amazing. Winter time. Beautiful during the day. Couple romantic place. Clean. Safe. The area around is strawberry and cream. No so many coffee choices so better buy something in the coffee shops around
Went here on a sunny day and the park was beautiful and serene. Walked around for more than a hour and almost crossed it from one end to another. Great place to keep walking and getting some fresh air and great views in New York.
Its a nice place for a picnic, cycling, walking, jogging, its an unforgettable place to stay and share with family, friends and more, very clean, very safe, recommended..
The park home of famous attractions such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park Zoo and Bethesda Fountain.
Another visit to NY and I loved it it's a beautiful park with amazing views and I'm simply excited about the pictures I took
Big! It is a gem inside the city. There are so many hidden gems around the park that you'll love to go see. I would recommend making a day of it and going to the Met and the Park and maybe eat lunch while you're there. It's a fun time!
This park does not need a review. Having said that, this New year's Eve for the first time I decided to check out the fireworks at Central Park for the first time and had a lovely time. It was beautiful, friendly and not crowded but nicely busy. Security was friendly and not difficult either. Very nice.
It's a huge but amazing park. In winter seems like everything waiting spring to come.
Awesome. Great free place for walking and sightseeing
One of my favorite spots in the City! You could go time and time again and have a different experience each time. Ride the carousel, it s worth loving the inner child in you! I m not a fan of carriage rides, but those are available all throughout the park. Maps are clearly marked and dispersed and Google Maps walking app is very accurate here. Cell service is excellent. Obviously, be cautious and be safe, but I was traveling alone and visited during the afternoon. Had a wonderful, carefree experience! Take tons of pictures. I have enjoyed looking at my photos and sharing them with friends time and time again!
In such a big and very fast and very loud city, it is amazing that all that noise and all the stress disappears in this huge park. I recommend it to everyone to just go there, take a walk or just sit on a bench and enjoy the day.
Its a very amazing place, a big park we're you can go for a picnic and have your children play and enjoy the day there.
This green patch in the middle of the concrete jungle is a blessing. Lot of activity for kids and lots of trails to walk around. There are pockets of places in the park where it doesnt feel like one is in new york
Awesome place in New York even in winter is a magical place recommended for all tourist in all seasons
It's worth spending an entire morning in the park (or an entire day if you want to walk calmly). I went in autumn and it was spectacular, but in summer keep in mind that there are a lot of people and it's very hot besides it's hard to find potable water. There are clean public bathrooms.
The park is beautiful and every space has its magic. A must if you visit the city. If you want to tour the most attractions that the park has you can choose to rent a bicycle or go on your own.
Nice and wide place, there s so many activities like marathon
