Absolutely lovely and refreshing park in the heart of the busiest city. I visited in fall and love the fall hues all around. Great place to get some fresh air, walk around, or just bring a picnic too. Lots of tourists around but the park is huge so doesn t feel crowded at all. Enjoy the sights and sounds and even people watching!

You can find so many hot spots in Central Park with the movie you remember. The best way to see whole the park is to rent the bike and biking along the park. You ll see more !

One of my favorite places in the world. A natural oasis in the middle of one of the largest and most vibrant cities in the world!

What foresight those before us had to set this land aside and preserve it for our enjoyment.

So much bigger than you think. You start walking and suddenly you're not that far in! Beautiful park with lots of nooks and crannies for cute picnics, or just relaxing and enjoying the sights, it's a very photogenic park. Watch out for the horse carriages and the bikes when crossing the roads!

Another favorite place of mine to visit in New York City sometimes I'll spend the day just walking around or reading a book in the park. It's absolutely amazing to find such serenity in the biggest city in America. It's an absolute gem. Keep in mind you're inside a park in New York City that offers sports, activities, a zoo, a castle and some of the most outstanding views of the New York City skyline.

One of the most beautiful and breathtaking destinations has to be visited for people around the world who come to NYC. For those who are living in the city, Central Park is the best place for relaxing and catching fresh air with enjoyment.

Beautiful place! Would recommend putting aside a good chunk of time to spend here as it's much bigger than I expected. While it's free to walk around, the food vendors and rides (bike carriages and horse-drawn) are expensive.

I love this park! You can spend days exploring all the little paths and enjoying nature to get away from city sounds. Going on a scavenger hunt to find all the statues is a great way to explore with children. The bears, Alice in Wonderland, Hans Christian Anderson, the obelisk, Balto... so much to see. The park is maintained so clean that one can just sit on the grass to rest without worrying about yuck stuff around. There are vendors who sell ice cream and beverages all around, so you are never in dire need of refreshments. The only weird thing is that there are no trash cans so you have to carry your trash so specific locations. The bike rentals and paths are super convenient to explore this large area.

The heart and soul of Manhattan. Get a bike and ride through the entire outer edge of the park, while taking pit stops here and there. See the lake, the boathouse, the castle, the zoo, and the duck pond. I love stopping by Sheep s meadow or the great lawn.

Tons of cute little spots to walk around and so many resources. From the MET to the plethora of baseball fields in the center, to all of the nice walking trails, there's something here for everyone. Towards the bottom of the park there's a nice area with a fountain that would be a perfect walk for a date. I've had nothing but positive experiences here.

I loved Central Park, the park has lots of trees, animals and people. It s the perfect place for an intense bike/jog workout due to the constant slopes and hills it also gets really really crowded but its part of being in the city, everything is crowded. My suggestion is to visit the park when temperatures are moderate! Thanks. Pictures taken with an Iphone 8 Plus.

What would New York City be without Central Park? A masterpiece of urban landscape, designed by Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux, it brings nature, peace and relaxation to every native New Yorker and global visitor alike. Large sedimentary rocks dot the beautifully undulating meadows and small lakes and rivulets, next to small theme gardens, and lovingly built traditional cottages. The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre is one of the many gems the Park has to offer, and is a must on any visitor s list. There is so much to see and explore in Central Park, that one has to simply experience it, rain or shine.

A national treasure. This place has it all for the entire family. Tranquil walking and biking trails for Mom and Dad. Petting zoos and amusement parks for the kids. Climbing and skateboarding for the young folks. Benches and ponds for the not so young people. So if you are not doing nothing and are in the area, come by and sit a spell. You won't regret it!

Truly an oasis in the middle of the city. Great for just strolling around and slowing down from the frantic pace of the city. The castle and ponds are great to see, in the spring when the tulips are blooming it is just stunning.

Beautiful park with great hiking trails and views. There should be a few more signs that show directions towards popular attractions and sites, but other than that, it was a great experience. Definitely recommend walking shoes (like tennis shoes) and shorts. Pack lightly so you don t feel too heavy walking up those hills.

Great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city! I was pleasantly surprised to find this pocket in the city and it was great just walking through it. There are some areas that are a tad sketch, but overall just a great park with tons of activities for leisure.

What can I say, it's just a beautiful park. I got to see the final phase of the planting of flowers. What a beautiful job. My props to those who do that kind of work. It's alot of work, but they really enjoy it.

Came in early June, entered from E. 79th and 5th Ave, exited at Columbus Circle. Beautiful. It was early, not a lot of people (also because of COVID-19), so it was quiet. Beautiful, green, serene, and kind of surreal. Just walk around and you ll find something worth stopping for. Props to the Parks Dept. for working hard!

Every tourist visiting New York must take about 4 hours to visit this site. One of the most beautiful and maintained parks I've ever seen. There are a few points to stop in and it is recommended to do the cycling tour for those of us who are fit. At the beginning of the park they will offer to rent horse-drawn carriages. It was very painful to see the suffering of the horses as they carried a carriage with a very fat woman, three children and a driver. All these on the back of one horse. Recommend not to give it a hand. On the other hand, people in the carriages will offer a similar service (much more humane!). Approximately 2.5dollar per per minute. When the whole park takes about two and a quarter hours. The squirrels are very sociable. Anyone who attacks a squirrel will be arrested by the police and will go to jail. There is a zoo inside the park and a stunning lake. Highly recommended.

It was amazing to see and walk through Central Park! I have seen it so many times in movies and on TV, and just the size of it, in the middle of a bustling city the size of New York is amazing! It's like the calm in the middle of the storm. There are so many cool things to see within the park, and it's a great place to unwind. I highly recommend you go check it out if you're visiting the city, as it's just such a contrast with the hustle and bustle, concrete jungle of the rest of NYC.

An integral part of New York City. Central Park is a place where you can relax. Be at piece in the middle of this bustling city. Enjoy the fresh air and the view of the impressive architecture surrounding the park. There are lakes, street artists, grass to lay on, trails to run, paths to bike and plenty of other ways to enjoy your time. Definitely put Central Park on your list of places to visit.

If you're in NYC and you like going out for a walk, look no further!
This park is so enormous you need weeks to explore every corner of it. It is a great place to escape the daily craziness of the city. Gorgeousness everywhere!

Peaceful park in the midst of the bustling city. There is something here for everyone - hiking and walking trails, Flora and fauna, playground areas and grassy spots, historic markers and beautiful views, gift shops and wildlife. Restrooms, however, are few and far between.

Spent the day at Central park zoo and we had so much fun. Loved seeing all the animals and the location is beautiful! The staff was super nice and helpful, and they had hand sanitizer available all over which was helpful. Will definitely be coming back, especially when the 4D is back!

Another one of NYC s must-visit spots. A lovely big area that makes you forget you re in a bustling city of so many people. Unfortunately it s not well signposted so getting lost can happen - get a map if you want to find the specific spots!

What an oasis in the middle of the madness of New York City! Beautiful gardens, trees, lakes, water features, bridges...so much to see and experience. If you're well-heeled, a horse and carriage ride through the park would be an awesome experience, or you could hire a bike and pedal around, but we just walked and walked and walked....and I think we saw much more of the features of the park that way - depends what you're there for, I guess. A stunning place, beautifully landscaped and maintained, with noticeably cleaner air than the city outside its boundaries!

Central Park is definitely must see place in New York. The best way to see everything is to rent a bike. Be carful with city bikes, if you rent it you need to check in your bike every 30minutes at nearest bike station witch can be really annoying, and if you don t check on time you need to pay something extra.

Welcome to Crazy Town! We hired some push bikes & cycled around the park, it really is the best way to see all the sights. So much to see and great to just people watch, spent a whole day exploring the park and loved every moment. I just wish they would stop the horse drawn carriages, i know they are strictly regulated, but its 2020, the horses shouldn't be working 9-5 pulling round fat lazy tourists.

A necessary stop on any visit to NYC. During the summer, the park gets you some much needed shade and is an experience in and of itself. Lots of street performers/buskers offer entertainment, but the park itself is enough of a show and needs nothing else to recommend it. The architecture of the bridges and tunnels is amazing, there are plenty of unique points of interest, and you even have a zoo if that is what you are interested in.

It is a piece of nature, with good services grace to immigrants that do their best to survive! Many spots to visit, they say to be green, but they need to work, to prove it. Icon attractions like Central Park Zoo, the Ramble and Lake or Jaqueline Kennedy Reservoir are interesting to visit.

spectacular. The Mall is one of my favorite places in the entire world. The park is really magical and endless hours of entertainment. I've walked the whole thing before...3.5 hrs of pure calorie burn. Don't forget your bug spray and sunscreen. Stay on the outer rings and tracks as it's easy to get lost deeper into the center of the park.

Wow, first impression of Central park is amazing with lots of interesting things to look at. We mostly hung out in the south west 3rd of this 3 mile park and loved it. Definitely had fun throwing a frisbee and already have plans to go back a couple more times.

To escape from all the hustle and bustle of the city this is the best place, rent a bike and go around the park, it will be a good way to relax and have fun, even better if you go with friends or boyfriend. Have a good time

A beautiful urban park with areas to relax and enjoy the nature also designated biking/skating path. We visited the park mid fall when change in the leaves colours added to the park beauty. To enjoy the most of it, I would highly recommend to plan your visit during the week days otherwise it will be super busy. I enjoyed the walk on the west half from Jacqueline Kennedy reservoir to Belvedere Castle then to the Ladies Pavilion.

It s iconic sure, but the amount of people and the disruptive street performances really detract from its beauty, not add to it. The northern end of the park is less crowded and more enjoyable in my opinion.
