Recommend looking up some 'secret spots' which are really fun to go explore and try to find. You can see hidden caves and waterfalls inside the park!
Love the park. Lots of diverse plants a trees. Even with all of New York in the park it still feels like you can find your perfect spot to relax in nature. Cesar hill and some lawns are closed for the season.
Wow Central Park. Great diversity in things to do, see and feel
I woke up here after the full moon, my clothing was ripped and I had half of a squirrel in my mouth. There was a Jazz Band playing to an audience of hipsters who ignored me, so I didn't need to be embarrassed. THIS TIME.
The park had a midnight run on New years. It was a fun time. I also felt very safe with the additional security.
Central park, the biggest park I've ever seen in my entire life Honestly, I have seen fascinating places and trees I have never seen them before. There are great lakes, shows, food carts, and skateboarding.
Such a serene place in the middle of the bustling city. Make sure you check out all the places available and pick the ones most important to you. We loved the boat house area.
I've only saw a fracture of the park, it was lovely tho
This is the iconic central park. The easiest way to visit is to go up 65th street there is a parking garage there you can pay by the hour. Walk around its a great place to people watch and bring a bike, skateboard, roller skates, or scooter. There are vendors, drum circles, and artist all ready to draw your attention. Yes everyone is wearing .
A bit of nature in New York! A place to stop, to think, and go ahead in owner trajectory! The Central Park, is an unforgettable poin New York City, where we can see ourselves in the trees, birds, on the clouds in the sky, where our hearts and minds, may be connect with the Universe! The Central Park, is a wonderful bit of the word, in the big apple! Thanks a lot, New York people, for preserving the Central Park!
Serene, academically arranged for just study, far removed from today's life/hustle & bustle, beautiful architectural buildings, well planned streets, meaningful monuments by past graduants ...Just beautiful
It s a beautiful park with Stunning views. I highly recommend it! If you are in NewYork, you have to come by this park and pay a visit even if for 15 minutes!
A must see! Best way to experience it is to find a Groupon for a nearby bike rental (the one we used was on the southern side. Then take the 4 hour option and bike around the Park, exploring all the many little trails. So many great sites to see! To help navigate it all, take a picture of one of the tall map signs at the main southern entrance. Then compare that to your blue dot on Google Maps to know where you are, what you want to see next and how to get there. Enjoy!
Cental Park was a great place to visit! Before we left there was a guy making HUGE bubbles it was so cool! We gave him a tip because he was so nice and you get rewarded in life. Overall Central Park was great!
Love this park, especially in the fall. The colors are spectacular and definitely worth a visit. All year long there are sports activities and concerts held in the summer.
The park was very dark, i was a little nervous about walking alone inside the park at night. The entrance was clean, beautiful statues at entrance. Always wanted to visit central park, but just wished there was more lighting.
Great getaway from the city to see some green and wildlife. It was happy to see so many people relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors! I've been very surprised that there are no mosquitoes and I love it! Back home they will swarm you. I encourage everyone to experience the park!
Central Park in lower Manhattan is so clean and some beautiful flowers.
A wonderful, refreshing, huge park that's a real pleasure to wander in.
Amazing park. Very nice. I can t even explain the best park in NYC. Very nice for picking, play with a ball with your kids, going for a run, and also the best of all I like is going on your bike on the track. Very good for exercising. In the winter if you could go sledding on your board down the hills.
One of the best things the new Yorker are do is to take care the Central Park. Very very nice place for do a lot. Come, see and enjoy
The giant famous park in the middle of the busiest city of the world is a place to experience for yourself. This park gives Ney York its soul. A must visit if you are around Manhattan.
The best and iconic place.... Autumn is the most beautiful season....
Good place to spend around 4 hours on a sunny day.. visit the park, zoo, rocky hills
Get the tickets from Groupon to get a good deal
Really good to visit. A fresh air, greenary and flowers, all this is enjoyable. Love to go far morning walk.
Central Park is amazing. If you want to escape the city and escape from the hustle and bustle of New York this is certainly a great spot to explore. Tons of outdoor activities and amazing art to enjoy. Fun for everyone, even if that means just lounging in the grass.
We love this park, especially in the deep evening. Its quite and nice for walk and breath fresh air. A lot of beautiful places for making gorgeous pictures.
Brilliant for rambling. So scenic and photogenic. Lots of wildlife.
Natural beauty in a bustling city, you can be one with nature and find yourself in this expansive park.
Beautifull place to run around with specific runner lanes. Felt safe and friendly
This Park is amazing and right in the heart of Manhattan neighborhood in New York City
The park is lovely getaway while in the city. There is ample room for people to lounge, several playgrounds for all age ranges of children, food carts, dog parks, fountains, walking trails (paved and unpaved). I walk through the park constantly and am always pleased with the array of sights and sounds. There are plenty of available benches or steps to relax on and enjoy the live music and greenery. Central park is beautiful throughout the year but I especially love the spring time when there is a constant whiff of flowers in the air.
The chunky green emerald of NYC. Great place for wedding photography, jogging, cycling, sunbathing, performing, playing, hiking, boat ride, meditating, picnicking, scenic stroll, you name it! Check out their zoo too!
To call it huge is an understatement. When I visited the place I had very limited time to spend here. However, a couple of hours at the place made me fall in love with it. I would love to live in NY just to have a jog everyday in this park. For visitors, do keep a good 4 to 5 hours up your sleeve if you really want to enjoy the experience. Beautiful place.
World class park in a World Class city. Nice running and bicycling track closed to traffic. Lots of benches. Trails to hike. Hideaways to read. Get soon. Meditate. Etc.
Absolutely beautiful no matter what season you visit during.
one of the few quiet places in ny. monuments, sculptures, wild animals (squirrels, birds and rats as well ) playgrounds for kids and adults, lakes, restaurants... Simply, everything you need to relax in a big city.
Central Park is such a beautiful & peaceful place in the hustle & bustle of New York City. A must see when in the Big Apple. Can go on a bike ride. Highly recommend!
Love it, just walking around spotting different film locations. Very clean and well kept, could do with better signs to highlight film locations though.
Amazing place to visit with friends, quite relaxing
Fantastic green space in the heart of the city, a must for any trip to NYC.
Perfect in the autumn.
Don't bother with hiring a bike, as that will take the route around the park, walking is the only way to see the hidden gems.
What a Great place to visit. We walked around Central Park for hours and we only covered just a quarter of it. What a beautiful park with awesome scenery. This place transports you to different locations and...WOW, it felt as though we traveled from New York to Yosemite, especially when you see the rock formations and climb up a bit in elevation. City Skyline over the reservoir was a sight to see, especially with the spraying fountain in th foreground. We're gonna come back someday to see the rest of the park.
Great place to visit in New York, plenty to see. Take the time to wander around.
Nice place to walk, cycle, run, or play with your kids. Very safe and clean
Always a great place to enjoy the greenery and the colorful people of nyc.
One of my favourite spots while visiting NYC!!! Central Park allows visitors to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and view the Manhattan skyline in a more relaxed setting. While strolling through the park and surrounding areas you ll find yourself being transported back to iconic scenes from movies such as Home Alone 2, Stuart Little, Out Of Towners etc. A must for anyone visiting NYC!!
I wish I had another day in New York City to explore the whole park. The row boats were amazing. Best value for some beautiful views. $15.00 HR cash only. Plus a $20.00 refundable deposit when you return the boat within the first hour.
Magical place in the center of the business of the city. Great place to take a stroll in the morning with a cup of coffee and check out the sights. They have some wonderful street performers near Bethesda fountain. There's almost always some sort of event going on in the park. You can rent small canoes, bikes, rickshaws or you can walk through the park.
This is quite easily one of my favorite city based parks in the country. Having lived here for nine years, I found the park to be a pleasure and a new experience every time I went. It s huge! There are so many hidden gems within the park too. I was also lucky enough to see the infamous mandarin duck while there! Make sure to check out the northern end of the park if you want a quieter stroll amongst greenery and flowers.
One of my favorite places in NYC. I am in the park almost everyday, which helps me unwind from the tension and bustle of the city. The variety of different landscapes from cultured gardens, to the wild of the ramble has something for everyone. Having a place to let your dog run and play on grass with other dogs never gets old. Honestly never expected to see a wild coyote on the loose, but now I've seen it half a dozen times. I can't recommend it enough!
The park is fantastic. Huge and takes more than a day to walk round and explore fully. Go on a weekend to enjoy the street vendors and artists. It's well worth the time to roam around and chill out after the hustle and bustle of the people filled streets.
Beautiful and relaxing park! Great views and very very clean!!! The grounds keepers really do an amazing job on keeping this park beautiful and peaceful to walk, jog, or sit and enjoy. Great place to people watch too!
My favourite park in the whole world. Perfect for a run and also has great features like a lake and nice restaurant. Its huge. You could spend all day there.
The best place for running and walking. Go inside to find nice spots and panoramic views.
Central Park is very well maintained and police patrol are seen regularly. Lots of playgrounds for kids. A great break from the busy city and to let the kids run free.
Nice park and recreation area in the heart of New York. Dont forget to walk by Strawberry Fields, John Lennon memorial.
We came into Central Park through the strawberry Fields entrance (John Lennon) look at the building across the street from the entrance where he lived. walk to the mural on the ground where there was an acoustic concert of The Beatles music going on very beautiful! After the concert we continued to walk into the park. Made our way to the lake the restaurant on the Green. Watched all the couples rowing throughout the lake. Dropping. From there we made our way over to where you can rent the remote control sail boats and enjoying watching the kids and there family's playing with the boats. I could go on.. every adventure in Central Park is magical. We love coming here!
Amazing greens right in the heart (may be lungs) of NYC! Surrounded by modern world from all 4 sides...this place will take you away from all the hectic city life! Just relax and enjoy the time in woods or in open park or around lake side. Must visit place in NYC trip!
Kind of hard to believe how such an amazing open space of nature is plopped in the heart of NYC. I am so happy our forefathers had the forward thinking to preserve such an amazing space. You can find so much to do and there is so much open space that despite you being in the heart of New York City you can still find peace and tranquility. I have taken my bike down here to ride the perimeter road which has bike lanes to seperate the bikes and pedestrians. It is also great to visit the zoo here. They offer many events throughout the year here. An absolute must visit if you come to NYC!!!
Had a wonderful time sitting in a area recently upgraded making it such an idyllic place to sit and talk.
I really love central park! Although we went there in January and it was grey it is worth the visit. I thought it was going to be bigger and we were not going to be able to walk and see everything we wanted but it is perfectly walkable. If you don't want to walk you can hire a bike, a tuck-tuck fir up to 5Dollars a minute or you can fix a price. Also you can hire a horse cart. There are very nice spots all over the park by the lakes where you can take incredible pics.
Playground is nice, but its a bit of a workout navigating the rest of the park.
Central Park is amazing. If your not from NY.....when you do come, give the park a try. Ride a bike, take a walk, play some baseball basketball, throw a frisbee......you can do anything here.
It was nice just to crowned for me and the history behind the Central Park need to be knowledgeable of what use to be there before they build the park
Ny Iconic backyard! Wonderful atmosphere to relax, exercise or just enjoy the view
I love it here, what's not to like? Get to spend all day seeing and doing a bunch of different things outside.
You don't know you're in the city once you step into Central Park the most famous park in the world. You could literally spend all day here and still not see the whole park. I lived in New York my whole life and still have not seen the entire park but I've been to the most famous parts. Bow bridge Bethesda fountain, And Cleopatra's needle which is an authentic to 1000 year old Egyptian monoliths are my favorites.
Central Park takes you away from the steep canyons of Manhatten into a green refuge. When you close your eyes and breath, the smell of the forest is sensed, mingled with the lesser smell of the city.
Best city park in the country possibly the entire Continent
Central park was nice, I would love to see it in the summer and fall when it's more colorful. But to have a place like the park in the middle of such a huge city is refreshing
This park was a dream of my wife and myself to see and it did not disappoint. It was cleaner than I ever expected and very beautiful. There is so much to see and do there. I recommend everyone go here once in their lives at LEAST!
What can I say that hasn t been said a million times? A fantastic park and an oasis of peace in the centre of NYC
The most beautiful park in the world! I visited the park in the spring, but I heard that the autumn in this park is more beautiful then spring because of the colors. The feeling is incredible when you enter ,from overcrowded NYC street into an oasis with old tall trees, meadows, lakes, lots of amenities ... At the end smoking is forbidden
What a beautiful place! In only moments you are transformed from the bustling city to the quiet reserves of the wilderness. So many beautiful spots in a tiny area. Central Park is definitely something that everyone should visit when in New York. Truely spectacular!
Classic NYC... I love this place now with a kid and I loved it as a kid!
So much to see here! From the bridges and fountains and sculptures.... breathtaking.
Central Park is so beautiful! We came to New York for our son's 16th birthday present and he had a great time exploring and seeing the beautiful nature scape centered in the middle of this culturally diverse city. It was definitely a memorable trip.
Such a lovely place to get out of the busy city! As tourists, we enjoyed seeing all of the movie filming locations. A beautiful stroll and a must visit when in NYC!
So much bigger than what you would expect, so amazing. Its quiet even when the city is surrounding the whole place. So much to see!
Central Park, largest and most important public park in Manhattan, New York City. It occupies an area of 840 acres (340 hectares) and extends between 59th and 110th streets (about 2.5 miles [4 km]) and between Fifth and Eighth avenues (about 0.5 miles [0.8 km]). It was one of the first American parks to be developed using landscape architecture techniques.
