I love being in NYC during the holidays. You can experience the many great attractions. I went out today to Central Park to see the North Woods Waterfall. I got turned around and asked a couple if they knew where it was. They helped and commented that they would be back tomorrow to find it for themselves. This is why NYC is great.

Tranquil at night, wish there was more lighting but it was a good pace for a peaceful walk none the less, it's huge and could take a good 3 hours to walk through, and you also get to see some "sets" from some of the movies from your childhood...

The most US iconic park and one of world must go to spots, is well signalized and preserved. Came here with family and in different seasons. Enough to say that all you have to read here are some tips: try checking the castle (yep, there s one here), going to the northern part, running in one of the several cooper lanes, get a pancake served close by the strawberry fields!

A huge park in the center of the busiest city in the world New York. Super cool environment with lots of trees. It will take a whole day to enjoy the whole park. I suggest to take more days and enjoy every corner. Must visit place in NYC.

One of the world's most famous parks. We celebrated my birthday with a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, sat in the love seats of Wagner Cove, paid respects to John Lennon and wished for world peace in Strawberry Fields, and then the rain storm started! Would love to explore more next time we visit NYC.

The quick trip in Central Park in a carriage was nice. We saw a little of the park and had a chance to snuggle on a cold rainy day. I mean who wouldn't want to ride in a carriage after spending the morning at Tiffany's.

It has everything. An escape from the noise, piece of nature, bird life, green fields, lakes, and even being the most crowded park in the world - it's big enough for you to find a quite corner to be alone (try the "secret" roads, you'll see it when you get there).

One of the places you must visit before you die.

This is a place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You get serenade by music around the park arch. If you ever visit nyc you should definitely visit this park. My favorite park in nyc

Me and my wife enjoyed our trip to NYC back in Jan 2018. It was unfortunately our last trip (she passed April 13, 2018. NH lymphoma (cancer) .....just shy of her 33rd birthday. I ll always cherish that trip.
Central Park is about 500x better then expected. I really recommend it if you ve never gone!

It was raining and foggy but it was still beautiful. We hired bikes and pedaled around. The only down side is not being able to ride your bikes everywhere. Lots of times you had to get off and walk. Im not sure if this is protecting the park or people. The one-way traffic can also be a pain as the stops/viewing locations are not necessarily progressive in one direction. Still worth every moment and we spent around 5 or so hours getting around.

I had such a good time here. The park is huge and it felt so good to see the greenery in the middle of the concrete jungle. I had a lot of plans for the day, but I just couldn't leave this place. This was my first visit to NYC, hope to come back to this place in different seasons!

Lose yourself in this 843 acre park, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Central Park is truly an iconic part of New York City. Why? Because when you are in the park, you can't hardly tell that you are in the City - it's just that quiet. I would love to come and visit here again.

A nice escape from NYC, but is a bit uninspiring. Watch out for tourists on bikes or else you re going to get hit.

There s a whole foods on Columbus circle so it s nice to a bit of food and sit down on the grass in the summer.

Give yourself plenty of time to explore the paths, trails, and waterfalls of this lovely park. Our favorite ways are on foot, biking, and rolkerblading. We haven't ridden horses or been ice skating- yet.

5/30 12:30pm - Entered Central Park on East 84th Street, just north of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The park was busy but not overcrowded. We were able to find a nice shaded spot to picnic for a few hours. It was nice to see the public respecting NYC virus guidelines, while getting active and enjoying the weather - Bring on the summer! Best city in the world!!

If you live in New York or your just visiting, you owe it to yourself to take a long slow walk through Central Park. Within minutes of your first few steps you will find your self surrounded by gorgeous trees, boulders and lush lawns, of course depending on what time of the year you venture in. As you get deeper into the park the large skyscrapers begin to fade and nature surrounds you. From the reservoir to the Zoo to many iconic stairwells and bridges recognized from popular film, there is a lot to take in. Central Park is especially brilliant during the fall as the leaves turn.

A huge beautiful park in the middle of a metropolis just adds another reason why NYC is one of the greatest cities on earth. The place is serene and more sprawling than expected. An occasional honk and sirens from a distance reminds you that you're in a middle of 8mil people.

A bit overrated. It is nice for the locals to have a green space to go to in the middle of the city, but as a tourist it isn't a WOW attraction. Its a very big park that has some small attractions like a zoo, gondola rides, horse drawn carriage rides etc. The zoo would be for young children, as it is not that large compared to other zoo's. The washrooms are limited, not clean, and the not overly prominent on the maps - you would expect it to be better taken care of and more obvious for a park that is this well known.

A must visit when in NYC. So many beautiful parts of the park. Don t limit yourself to the southern part of the park. Take the subway to the northern side and walk down the east side of the park.

The park is HUGE!!! didn't get to see all of it. If you go for sure take a horse carriage ride in the park. So peaceful and nice to have a guide explain the different memorials, statues and history.

Sharing this so hopefully this busker can receive the photos I took of him. He was a beautiful saxophone player in the park. It made the scenery that much more beautiful in the park even on a gloomy day. And as always I love central park.

Very beautiful park with a lot of skyscrapers around you . You can take a walk here or get a bike rental and take a day off for this park to take a look at this beauty. You will find an ice skating place where Home Alone was filmed and other movies. You shouldn t be disappointed after all.

Historic Central Park is an oasis in the middle of the busiest island in the world. Great place for a stroll to get out of your head and enjoy nature without having to leave the city. Offers ice skating in the winter months.

A great place to walk your dog, take a nice quiet walk, go for a early morning jog, basically whatever you want to do! I personally go there very often, and find it amazing. The selection of wildlife there is huge, and the sound of their truck along stream makes the perfect touch. Totally would recommend this park to absolutely anyone. The only problem, is that there is often a whole lot of people there.

Central Park is everything I've ever imagined it to be. Amazing vibes, beautiful views, and endless opportunities for people watching! We walked 2/3 of it on a really hot day in NYC. There were plenty of water refill stations and shadow spots. Most popular spots were super crowded, but when we ventured a bit off - it got really quiet and serene.
