Great park, no large pool compared to other parks ...
Great park, no large pool compared to other parks of center parcs but it is on the sea so in good weather that is no problem
Great park, no large pool compared to other parks of center parcs but it is on the sea so in good weather that is no problem
Nice park and nice swimming pool with a large children's corner.
The cottages are somewhat dated but clean. Location of the park is great.
Go swimming today. Nice pool but nasty. Shower full of lime ceiling plates hung half out. Painting was due for replacement.
The houses are much more beautiful on the inside than on the outside. Had a VIP house, with sauna and whirlpool. Very clean and everything new in the house.
The zealand is a beautiful place ... against the center park is not terrible the water dome is outdated and the park very small ...
We found the 4 small clothes washers a bit odd for the enormous volume of cotttages and campers. Also, that the three dryers had too little time to dry towels, even after two cycles. The dryer vent looked like it had been months since they were emptied and had tears.
The variety of activities were geared for cottages to get them spending money on quick thrills. We stayed on the camping side, which was less annoying.
Awesome was the live outdoor music offered twice a week. Unfortunately there was no mention of this in the listed activities, App "offerings", or sineage. We happed to see one set up. The singer said even the gate didn't know he was coming and wouldn't let him enter.
The few times we went swimming, some days were uncomfortably crowded, waiting areas for showers were non existent and the humidity in the changing room didn't alllow for us to dry off after showering.
The worst was the contaminated rapids. First visit I got a burning substance in one of my eyes... it wasn't dirt. I had to leave. I waited a week before visiting it again. Water in one nostril ended me with a sinus infection, with heavy slime, antibiotics (bacterium), and bronchitis (going on two weeks).
We certainly will spend our time and money somewhere else.
Every year we come here a few times to walk around, grab a terrace or play pool together. For a drink you better go inside and order one because on the terrace it can sometimes take a long time. But that certainly doesn't make a visit less enjoyable.
Slightly smaller and busier than expected but it is a good swimming park with plenty of things.
Beautiful setting but on site everything is paying and expensive most often.
After we cleaned the garden furniture and the terrace it was very nice. The proximity to the beach is just fantastic. The children can experience a lot here.
Just got back from a weekend. Cottages are simple and small but clean and everything is there. Nice shower. Quite drafty windows and very bad mattresses. Pony exp. Was great fun for the children, friendly but firm guidance. The pool was great fun, beautiful water playground and wild water slide. It is a pity that you can no longer eat in the snack bar in the pool from 7 pm. Go and eat in the grill ... simple but good. Eating at nonnas: very cozy and pleasant reception by staff. Bicycle rental: quite pricey or ok bicycles. Beautiful surroundings. The park itself could use some updating but is clean. The center seems to have been recently refreshed.
There is some play equipment scattered in the park ... the children, however, missed a larger playground.
Nice park in a nice location. Slightly smaller compared to other parks.
Cool surfing vibe. Great cafes and restaurants. We stayed at Center parcs but really enjoyed walking around.
it is a very quiet park, with a super beautiful environment in which you fall from one surprise to the other. just a pity that as a VIP you pay so much for no visibility while a comfort cottage has a roof terrace and is nicer located
Park is very moderate, too expensive for what they offer and cheaper at other locations. The restaurants are terrible and I advise everyone to stay away from here.
Not worthy of 4 stars anymore 2 stars. The environment is beautiful but that is the only positive hence the 2 stars. The prices are too high for the quality they offer, everything needs to be renovated.
All right to good.
We were in the 400 area of the houses (week 13/2019) and I think the houses are not up to date or the modernization is not well done. There are little things but they are annoying. Overall, and since I was there twice, I would always prefer an apartment in the main house to the houses.
10 years ago it was beautiful there now everything should be new let's see info will follow ...
It was okay, only with very young children it wasn't really great. We also found the VIP house not very clean. Furthermore, the bathroom was really enjoy. We have regularly used the infrared sauna.
The center park in itself only gets 3 stars (not real playgrounds, mostly paying stuff, aqua mundo is good but boring: slides and wild river are so "not wild"). After visiting "Les Trois Forets CP" with huge innovative playgrounds at every bend of the road and the coolest wild river we were very dissapointed. On the other hand Port Zeeland is really well situated for outside activities making it an excellent basis to explore south Netherlands (town trips, bicycle rides, beaches and sand, wind surfing/boarding, Delta museum, Rotterdam and port area, wildlife parks...).
Always nice to stay here for a few days, you have to love crowds because the park was very full of people. The Brouwersdam is beautiful and we had a lovely dinner at beach club Het Gorsje in Ouddorp
Have been here a few times with the children. But always in the low season, then the prices are not too expensive and the park is not too crowded. Of course you try to make money on tourism, and so you have to pay for many things you want to use. But since you are right on the sea, you do not have to use everything that costs money. You can fish with children, catch crabs, watch seals or just take a walk on the beach.
Super cozy park, especially after the recently renovated cottages
As well as the new area for the kids in the Aqua mundo.
Always something to do in both summer and winter!
Highly recommended for young or old
Despite everything was closed we still enjoyed a nice weekend
Very nice place for kids and adults, nice price, nice facilities.
The houses are not the most recent, but the attractions are numerous: very large aqua mundo with many attractions, very original mini golf, the sea within walking distance ...
Very good stay!
Peaceful, relaxing place in great surroundings of beach and forest.
Large area, clean and well arranged. Swimming pool is recommended!
Good for really young kids, bit too small and boring for adults... Getting old too.
The holiday in Center Parcs Port Zelande from 27.05.- 31.05.2019 was very nice. The apartment was clean and well equipped.
The check-in and check-out much smoothly.
Our grandchild 4 1/2 years and grandma and grandpa had a lot of fun and no boredom.
It is not far to the beautiful sandy beach.
We had our apartment overlooking the harbor.
There we were able to fish crayfish directly ... .with subsequent release ;-)
Pedaling is also great fun.
The Auaqa Mundo got a bit old.
But we still had a lot of fun !!!!
The indoor area is very dark and smells musty. So far, we have not used this area for a short time ..... because we had very nice weather and almost only outside.
We would have liked to extend 1-2 days, but unfortunately that was not possible.
The staff are very competent and super friendly.
With children the park is recommended, the location around it is very nice. The pool we liked. Nothing negative except the stairs in our house was very steep. Toddlers can not go up alone.
We were there in March last year. Low season !!!
The houses are very lovingly furnished, but one or the other place would have to be cleaned more thoroughly. We had to wash all plates, glasses etc again before we could use them.
There are many shopping opportunities in the surrounding cities. In the park it is very expensive but you get everything.
Everything you do as a family is incredibly expensive ... a cocktail happy hour is really a good idea, just don't do any good if it is at a time when most of the parents are busy cooking, eating or putting their children to bed bring.
Very friendly. We love going here.
See you next time.
Very nice park with great cottages. Friendly staff. The Aqua Mundo is unfortunately not quite as well maintained. Here and there you can see damage, but also there you can feel comfortable. My first vacation in a Center Parc and I am really excited.
My next Holland vacation goes back to one of the Center Parcs.
To be honest it was all a bit disappointing. It started with the fries on arrival. CP advertises tasty fresh fries.
We thought good, get fries. So we bought snacks and fries for 71 euros. In my youth I worked in different snack bars. And this was bad. Very bad. So bad that several of our party did not eat the fries. It was dry and very bad. Did I tell you this has been the worst fries in years?
But seriously. If I were management I would quickly look into this.
Well the house then. This was fine what you can expect from CP.
Then the swimming. Maximum 1.5 hours due to corona. First day fine. Well on the short side with changing and stuff, but fine you know that in advance.
The next day we swam again. Suddenly all doors and windows are open. Joehoeeee it is freezing cold. The children had goosebumps when they came out of the water. When we complained they came up with a story that it was to air for corona or something. That was not the case the day before. For us it was so cold that we left after 45 minutes.
For the hefty amounts that you pay for CP, it was all a bit disappointing.
So think carefully if you are willing to spend that much money for many restrictions, feel cold in aqua mundo and have a snacking experience that you will never forget. (unless you quickly drive to Ouddorp)
Nice park and fun entertainment. Facilities are super. Despite no great weather nice days!
I was there in the fall holidays and was pleasantly surprised. Great facility, lake and sea, lots of activities and very kid friendly. I stayed in a large house with 4 bedrooms kitchen, living and dining room, 3 bathrooms on each floor. The view from my window is fabulous: the lake is right in front of our house, the sunsets are beautiful. Highly recommended as a holiday destination. Here are some pictures of the lake and the great view:
The complex in need of renovation. We had a house with a slide. The whole construction seemed very thoughtless and neglected. The garden was as level as a plowed field.
In the house there were spiders in the corners, which our daughter didn't find funny at all.
The toilet (where you hold your session)
Was so mega small that for people over 180 cm and over 80 kilos it is like a penalty.
We won't be back. That's for sure.
We were in a renovated cottage. To be honest, we thought that 'renewed' was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless had a great stay and still recommended
Beautiful location. Nice swimming pool. It is a very large park. So a lot of action but also a lot of people. Beach nearby is huge. There you have all the space you want. You have to walk a kilometer or so from the park.
The location by the sea is very good, the beach is not far away. The facilities are Center Parc usual, the restaurants expensive, the opening times are not always traceable. The house was not good, comfort renovated, rooms spread over 3 floors, the balcony furniture broken, the tipping of the predecessors were still on the balconies. The houses are assembled in such a way that the neighbor's staircase directly adjoining the rooms of our house was a little hard to explain, but the effect was that when our neighbors were on the stairwell, we almost fell out of bed. Unfortunately, we also had very moving neighbors, even late into the night.
Excellent value for money with the immediate proximity of the sea.
We have already completed several stays in park centers in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. This one is different because directly open to the sea and a small port. The aquamundo has been renovated and there is a very nice outdoor wild river with several courses and a toboggan "turbo", original. The park is rather small, no need to bike to move with children as in some other park. Do not hesitate to take the car for 5-10 minutes outside the park and discover the beautiful wild beaches of Zeeland on the Dutch polders. We will return. Only downside: no space "Baluba / indoor free game" only indoor miniature golf
Been a seasonal guest at the campsite for about 15 years. Location is / was excellent. Near the beach and Grevenlingenmeer and a beautiful "forest" for walking. Amenities like poolside supermarket entertainment are all nice that it is there.
But this park has become too commercial, and the whole center plate too touristy and built-up. Beautiful little beaches have been taken up by tiny houses etc. So you no longer have peace here, nature is unfortunately quite damaged by humans. And the prices of the campsite have risen alarmingly over the years. Supervision at the campsite is below standard, rules are not applied, which means that you are looking at a fleet of cars because people let their guests park their cars in front of you during their day trips. There is a bad policy for grass conservation / use of grounds. Unfortunately ... no matter how bad this place has a place in my heart, it is no longer what it used to be. If you come for peace, space and nature, you better look further. Those who have no problems with crowds, many cars on the fields, sometimes a camping spot without grass, noise from (camp) groups, etc., it is a nice place with a lot to do and experience.
Was here 3 years ago and it didn't improve. When it was raining heavily, the roof window in the two upper rooms under the roof was leaking so that it even ran in. That is not healthy. Swimming pool didn't get better either. Not recommendable. Park is definitely getting old like "rocked" and NOT worth a visit. In addition, the prices in the supermarket are very high. The same product "grill plate" brought one place further in the supermarket. There for 9 and here on Port Zelande for 17
Gjet was super super beautiful. Environment and hospitality that you wow to say
Super lot to do. Definitely recommended with children both children and teenagers.
Super fun, wonderfully caught on the piers and on the beaches with the kids.
Top pool, and restaurants.
It is a nice swimming pool. Many different things. Also for children. What we didn't like was the incredibly long queue for food and drinks. Sometimes this took half an hour! Drop more people on the weekend.
Nicely modernized. There is a lot to do and good food if you are looking for the right opportunity. Many families with children.
Very friendly staff. 2 person cottage is neat and clean. But not very big.
Park is neat and car-free. Park is fully equipped.
Wonderful area, great for all kinds of water sports, cycling or, more comfortably, hiking, biking, the vastness of the beaches, the sea and the relaxed, child and dog-friendly nature of the Dutch. High relaxation factor, pragmatic and calm handling of the special needs caused by the pandemic.
Very nice but super expensive not put away for many people unfortunately
Upon entering the house came and a distinct dog smell, so we and refused to move into this house. We then got one of the premium houses that was clean and ok from its decor.
The park itself could not meet our expectations, because the playgrounds were not convincing, the beach in the park was not clean and the whole area made a loveless impression.
Here should urgently be renovated (apart from the premium houses), so that the price again fits the offered service.
Houses absolutely ok, park is large and neat and nice that this car-free! Too bad you have to wait a very long time for your drinks in the catering establishments, very few staff during a busy weekend! Environment wonderful to walk with the dogs!
This is one of my favorite parks center for the setting. It is surrounded by magnificent sea
always
Again top
It is located in Zeeland, 3 rooms, 5 beds, kitchen, shed, no service, living room with TV, bathroom with bath and shower, friendly service and a beautiful park.
Well. What are you going to tell about this. A proper home Sweet home feeling.
A 6-person premium house with garden furniture in the living room. We have a different view of premium.
In terms of location top, further on the park much broken, dirty and not maintained. Dog run fields are full of nettles, for example, and garden sets are drowning in the water ...
Swimming pool very fine, not the largest but super neat and fine. The corona rules are also well followed here.
In terms of restaurants, a scam feeling left. We ordered limousine meat for an additional cost, what we got was pressed meat. Even the mac has better meat. When the waitress asked about it, the answer was: I can imagine that.
No further complaints to the staff, super positive but quality price is not the best.
Clean houses and friendly staff. Just a pity that there is little to do in the park out of season. And what to do closes very early. In our opinion, they also ask too much money for the peripheral activities. The pool is highly recommended and free.
