RMy kids (4 & 9 years) love the puppet shows here we've seen a few and it's always a good experience for them. They lived the build a puppet workshop too that is included in the ticket price. You have to buy the tickets ahead of time or they will most likely be sold out though. The museum is not really impressive I wish they had more fun and interactive activities in it also some of the puppets are a little creepy so they scared my 4 year old but still a good and fun thing to do with kids

Really fun place to spend the day. So many childhood memories came back during our visit. Behind the scenes look at the puppets and how they are made alive. Activities for the kids too. Has a playground and limited on site parking.

Amazing place. The puppets show was outstanding. Very familiar place and great to take kids. Shade puppetry class is great. You build your own shadow puppet and perform. I went with my wife and we enjoy it very much and the museum is very instructive.

What a great experience! Visited to tour the museum and it did not disappoint. The Center has done an amazing job implementing COVID-19 safety measures, providing social distancing markers, flow arrows for touring exhibits, implementing a mask policy, and providing hand sanitizer in each room of the museum. I felt completely safe. They even have a concierge via webcam ready to answer any questions you may have about the museum - how clever! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and it truly shows that they are there to share the art of puppetry with all visitors. Cannot wait to visit again - all exhibits were beautifully curated and it was such a treat to be able to experience the special Dark Crystal exhibit.

A hidden jewelry! I know this place because I went to watch the 30th anniversary show of labyrinth (Dave Bowie!), and in the preshow video they showed us that those puppets are now stored in this museum. The museum is not big, but definite with fun. Especially good for family activities (small kids!)

I live this place and have to stop by everytime I visit Atlanta. It's such a unique and well-ran museum with interesting events and displays. The museum is small, but there is still a lot to read about, interact with, and see. Expect to spend no less than an hour here. On average, I make it through the entire museum in about 2 hours. I'm a huge fan of Jim Henson and primarily come here for the special exhibitions for the Labyrinth and Dark Crystal. I'm never disappointed, as there is always something new to see! The exhibitions are unique and it's so wonderful to see the craftsmanship up close. Coming here is like being transported back to my childhood. I recommend visiting this museum for adults and children, as it can be enjoyed by all ages!
