Close to the heart of Cedar Springs, Cedar Springs Brewing Company really knows how to bring culture and character to our small town. I really enjoy this brewery and am glad I live nearby! I like their Fish and Flannels dish the best! Wish they had a bigger hard cider collection. I love that they have classic car nights during the summer. Can't wait to check out the farmers market on Thursdays! Thanks for all you do for the Cedar Springs community!

Cedar Springs Brewing is designed around the old German beer-hall concept - benches, music and home-brewed beer!

The food is equally impressive. The fried chicken plate is exceptional! The soups are very, very good and getting a giant pretzel is a must. Be sure to "buy a round" for the cooks when you feel especially appreciative.

Outdoor seating is available, weather-permitting (it IS in Michigan, you know) and the restaurant is accessible via the White Pine Trail.

Seasonal brews are available throughout the year and, recently, the drink menu has expanded to stronger spirits, Don't be surprised to see "distillery" added to the title in the near future.

Good, clean, fun for young and old alike. High chairs available for the wee-ones.

I never write reviews, ever. But this exceeded my expectations. I have been reading about the food and beer for awhile and we finally had a chance to go. The taste of the bratwurst teller took me back to the German Festival I grew up going to as a kid. Authentic. The atmosphere was very Bavarian too. I will be going back with more family to share in the experience.

Poor wait staff had to ask for silverware from a waitress so not into working today, sprouts were overcooked and appeared to be the leftovers from the deep fryer. Grilled cheese was velveeta on Texas toast. And , hey, when I order a beer for 5.75 don't give me a tulip glass thats1/4 foam. Will I ever come back? Please, not on your life.

The food is very good, but read the menu carefully before you order. Our waitress encouraged several upcharged options without ever suggesting an additional cost. Specifically, if you order the pretzel, be aware the beer cheese is $8 for a small cup and served cold.

We have be there before and the food was very good but this Saturday was very different. We came with a party of 8 so we thought we check to see if they took reservations so we called on Tuesday and were told no reservations it was first come so we decided to go early. We arrived at 5 and checked in. Asked how long of a wait and were told they had no idea. As we were waiting we noticed that there were 2 spots with reserved on them. 1 was for 15 and the other for 10. WHAT happened to the no reservations? As we waited for a table(34 min.) The 2 spots were still NOT being used. We decided that Cedar Springs Brewing didn't want our business. I was very disappointed with how this happened. Our other friends have never been there and we recommend this place because we thought a great place to have dinner. I hope management will look into this.

Better service at the local cemetary. I think they forgot to pay their espn bill to because all they showed was pics from a family I dont care about. The wings could have been good if the bartendress cared about me being out of beer, out of ranch sauce, thirsty as hell, and did I mention no ESPN? bowtie is better

Very fun experience with full German flavors. They craft their own sodas as well! I enjoyed the coconut pineapple pop. It reminded me of the clear dum dum suckers. Dinner was excellent, we will be coming back!

Definitely a must visit brewery. Super selection of first rate award winning beers. Upbeat atmosphere with friendly and informative hosts.

Food is great with authentic German dishes that pair well with their German style beers. Nice outdoor Bier Garden as well.

Bavarian themed brewery. Ordered a flight of 4 beers and surprisingly liked them all. These guys know how to brew! Menu was varied and atmosphere was nice. I can imagine it gets loud in there with a full house in the open room with long tables.

I enjoyed the music with Toby Bresnahan. Waitress was attentive with a great personality. Food was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised with the bloody mary and beer chaser. I am pleased with the new improvements. Haven't been in awhile.

Socks officially knocked off. Clean bar, excellent food, charismatic staff, stunning live events, spotless bathrooms, and the best food I've ever had. Bavarian cuisine is impeccable. This place is worth any drive.

Tasty food and the hostess and servers were extremely friendly and helpful. More than willing to answer all of our questions and give us recommendations. The homemade sodas and communal atmosphere add a nice touch. I would highly recommend trying the Root Beer here, it is fantastic.

The service was a bit slow as it was frustrating that you as to go to the bar to order and when we got there, one person was working the bar. Eventually a couple more came out. The food and beverages were good though wasn't worth the drive from GR.

Great beer, decent food. Not enough enticing options as a vegetarian. I will be back to try more next time. Salad dressing was underwhelming, the roasted cauliflower... Could have been a bit more roasted & robust in flavor.

They did have a good hot sauce, idk what that other guy is talking about.

Absolutely horrid service. Waited over an hour just for drink. When the drinks were delivered, the waitress had no idea whos drink went where. Drinks were uncarbonated. Its been over an hour and a half and we still havent recieved our food. Do Not Eat Here. This is the worst service I have ever dealt with.

Awesome food! Good service. I've tried a lot of their beer and personally haven't had one I liked, thought they all tasted quite a bit a like. I am always bummed you can't get a side of cheese with anything for whatever reason. I'm a cheesy guy and like cheese on the side of everything.

I'm a sucker for German brewpubs and this place delivers! Crisp, clean simple beers and great garten dishes (including a MASSIVE soft pretzel). Definitely worth the detour if you're passing by town on 131.

Good food and beer! Only lost a point because the shared seating during the pandemic with no clear guidelines. Ended up having others sit next to us with a large group so we were not able to be properly distanced even though we were there first. I don t think that s the brewery s fault necessarily, but additional signage or protocols for guests to follow would be appreciated. I wouldn t go back until after the pandemic.

Love it! Sunday at noon, they had some nice brunch items and a great Bloody Mary with just the right amount of garnish and an ale "sidecar". We just had some pork rinds as a snack that were freshly fried - crispy, light and well seasoned. The also had waffle biscuits with sausage gravy, unfortunately I try to stay away from carbs so I asked if I can just have a small sample of the gravy. Delicious!

A friend invited me for some live music outdoors. There is ample parking and it s easy to find. Easy to sprawl in a group for a good time. The place is up to date with nice touches for character. Clean. Service was friendly and fast. Ordered the black bean wrap with some house cider, both were delightful and fairly priced to portion. Grab some friends, enjoy yourselves!

This could be a five star place very easy. The stout is very good. The desserts were good. The pretzel is good but pricey. Most of the beers are good. The atmosphere and look of the place is great. The service is good. The problem is. The cider is not good. More importantly the food over all is not good with just a few things that are ok. And the monstrosity doesn't live up to the name. It sounds like a lot of food but It's just a regular sized burger with a few extras that cost $33 and really only feeds one hungry person. It is drastically overpriced, and is really only worth half the price. We had a group of 12 and after spending about $25 a person we left disappointed. They should try to get feed back from customers going forward and then make the needed changes asap. I will be back for the stout and other beers. Hopefully the food will improve soon, if it doesn't I don't think this place will be around for long. That would be a shame.

Thanks for the info that you can t carry bottled gf beer in addition to the beverages you make under you microbrewery license. The food and service was great and I really enjoyed the house sangria. Yum!

Great German feel to this small town American brewery. The food was top notch, as good or better than any brewery in Grand Rapids (I reccomend ordering off of the German menu). I tried three of the four beers they currently have available and I enjoyed them all. Service was friendly and not too slow considering that they were packed and hadn't even been open a month. We will be coming back!

The food was good and the ale wonderful. The music was live and we had to raise our voices to be heard. I guess afterwards I had somewhat of a headache. We thought it took too long for the food to be served. We will likely return.
