Cecil Atkission Kerrville is the best dealership I have ever done business with. Service after the sale is a real thing and adds value to your vehicle purchase. It's hard to find these days but not in Kerrville. This dealership is the standard of excellence that Chevrolet should require from all their dealers. It was a very nice visit. They did a great job. The people there were very friendly very professionally. And it was a relaxed 45 to an hour that I had to wait. And it did not feel as if it took that long the 45 minutes to the hour to wait because of the atmosphere of the place
My service advisor is Oscar and he has done such a good job for us over the last 15 years that even when we can't buy our vehicles there we still take them there for service. We have three four Toyotas and one Suburban that we bought from Cecil Atkission and then I have a Porsche that they take very good care of. Oscar goes out of his way to see to our needs and we are loyal because of it.

Our experience at Cecil was incredible! Caleb Thompson was patient and polite not pushy or eager to make a sale like most salesmen are. He listened to our needs and found the perfect vehicle for our family. After finding our vehicle we were sent to the finance team where we met Jeff Harris. Mr. Harris did a phenomenal job detailing the numbers and working with our budget. These two men alone made our experience with Cecil unforgettable.

Despite an unfortunate mistake, Cecil came through and rectified the situation. When someone makes a mistake, I feel satisfaction when they fess up to it and fix it without hesitation or any drama. Cecil has my vote for a 5 star dealership!

I would give this place zero stars but I have to give at least one to post this. Horrible first and only experience. Took my car in for an oil change and before i drove off the light a couple lights came on. Went in and told Oscar, he really could have cared less. Glanced at my dash and stated he didn t see any lights. Showed him where they were and he then stated he didn t know what they were or what they meant. Popped the hood and glanced under, he didn t know didn t know didn t know. Tried getting me to leave the lot, continuously. With the lights on and not knowing why. WORST customer service from Oscar. I would consider getting oil changes done elsewhere.
I brought my vehicle in about 3 months ago for an oil change at their service department. They did the oil change and when checking out, they told me my front brakes were almost 100% worn out and needed to be replaced immediately. They weren't able to do the service that day in a timely manner so I went to another mechanics shop in town. There, I was told my brakes were fine and over 75% life left in them! I went to another dealership mechanics out of town where they confirmed my brakes were fine!! Lying about a service that could cost ~$200 when it's not even needed is infuriating! I still haven't had to get my front brakes replaced.. I will NEVER go here for any service again. And if they're going to lie over something so rediculous I will never give them my business even in buying a new vehicle or upgrading. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. It's sad how much a business will lie to line their pockets with our hard earned money!

We were experiencing electrical issues with our Silverado purchased new in December of 2019. We live 1.5 hours from the dealer. A new battery seams to have solved the problems. The wait time was a little over 5 hours, and waiting was our best option. The waiting area is comfortable, the restrooms are clean, and the service people are friendly and helpful.
Incredible service when we were stuck. The dealership responded to our call from an hour away, stayed late to make sure they were there when we arrived and arranged for everything. The car was fixed perfectly and then driven to us, out of town. Oscar Vasquez and his team were phenomenal, the true "Cadillac" of service.
Was not happy, technician did not text drive, went to pickup and vehicle had same problem, service writer said sometimes reprogramming did not work, but second time fixed main problem.
Other item TPMS, lasted two days, took to Discount Tire and had fixed.
Service Dept is Top Notch, Led by Kevin, Oscar, Mari, and Natalie are outstanding and take care of their customers from start to finish to follow up and beyond! Thank you to them for taking care of our vehicles!

Everything went well. Everyone in service was professional and courteous. This was my first (of two) courtesy oil change and tire rotation on my 2018 Silverado 1500. Although I did not purchase the truck at Cecil Atkission, I will be back as we have moved to the area. I would have liked to have had the water dried off the car after it went through the car wash tunnel, as I now have water spots. I guess I should have asked them for a drying towel and done it myself !
Cecil Atkission Motors is wonderful! We live in Kerrville part-time and New Orleans part-time. We bring our car for service because the people are so great here. They have helped us with a flat tire before, and we bring our car here for oil changes all the time. So much better and a shorter wait than New Orleans! We just recently had a problem with one of our wheel bearings, and they fixed us up right away. They service all types of cars. And the waiting area! So awesome! Soft drinks, water, Keurig machine, popcorn, WiFi...what else could you ask for? Can t recommend them highly enough.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
I m an extreme critic of customer service. I m a business woman with 25+ years in Sales, PR, Marketing and Management.
This is not my 1st new car.
3 years ago my family was hit, blow after blow, after blow, after blow with devastating personal, medical, financial economical tragedies. Since then I ve experienced nothing but deceit, prejudice and misjudgment instead of honesty, respect, impartiality and understanding while car shopping.
Until today. Not only did the salesman, Carl Jordan, with his courteous, upfront, honest understanding of my no time for BS schedule came to me at work. He and his branch manager then made exemplary efforts to accommodate my needs and financial limits.
Even after such stellar service, I went with apprehension and mistrust at the end of the day to sign paperwork. What s the catch? I walked in with a something is not right, defensive and apprehensive attitude.
Met with Carl, expecting to see outrageous figures and dollar signs. I respectfully apologize for that. For there was nothing hidden or questionable or outrageously unfair. I did not even question the numbers presented because I knew they were not only on point, yet an amazing deal under the circumstances.
To make a long story short. From one business woman to the Cecil Team, it s not only inspiring but refreshing to see a business put not just the customer, but the individual first. No bias, no prejudices...... just good old fashioned, frank, honest, no BS family/ friend values. The way business aught to be.

When I entered the Cecil Atkission dealership, I was greeted with a big smile and a handshake. This was Hunter, ready to help me with all my car buying needs! I told him I wanted to lease another Buick Encore. From that time on, I was totally overwhelmed by his knowledge of the Buicks on hand. I actually had fun having him point out new features of the Encore. After showing me the new features, he made sure I understood how to use them before I left the dealership! He was extremely nice, attentive to my needs, and knowledgeable, which reassured me I did want another Encore! He even went out of town to get my car, as the car I wanted wasn't in stock! I will be sure to recommend Cecil Atkission to all my friends and tell them to ask for Hunter. I also know because of Hunter I will be purchasing my next car from Cecil Atkission! The whole crew of Cecil Atkission should receive gold stars! I am completely satisfied with his performance as my Salesman!

On a weekend trip to Kerrville the muffler heat shield became unriveted and was hanging down under my classic '78 Vette. Not wanting to risk further damage I went to Atkission and they were able to remove it safely so I could have it welded in place by a muffler shop. They assured me that the car was safe to drive back to Houston. I am truly grateful for their help and look forward to safe travels. I would trust them for future issues as well.

Everyone was so polite and courteous. I never felt pressured or rushed. When I buy a new vehicle I like to just look around and then ask questions. I am a chevy person at heart, but the last 2 vehicles I bought the experience wasn't very good.

Very poor mechanics!! Toke my truck in due to the engine light being on. They had it for 2 weeks, then finally called and said" we fix the problem". Not Less then 10 miles driving off the lot.The engine light went back on & it started shaking. Got the truck back worse than it was! I'll be sure to let everyone I know about this wonderful dealer
We have purchased several trucks from Cecil. You vmcan always count on them to do the right thing. Oscar in service is very knowledgeable and I trust him completely. Repairs can be very expensive so having someone you trust to tell you the truth is imperative.

Saturday, August 30th, (Saturday before Labor Day Holiday) Bad fuel in my Silverado 2500 with the Duramax diesel engine.
I called Service Manager, Kevin Lutz, who said to have it towed in and if at all possible, we will get you back on the road this afternoon.
We arrived at the dealer around 2:30. Kevin, Service Advisor, Oscar Vasquez, and their mechanics went to work.
Oscar made arrangements to keep a couple of mechanics late and they finished the work about an hour after closing time. They truly went above and beyond.
Thanks to Kevin,Oscar,and the outstanding work of the service team, our weekend was saved!

Clean place service people very friendly but don't go there for small repair they'll tell you repair stuff that isn't true they make things up to make money very dishonest we got a second opinion and they no no sorry they lied to you the stuff they said was all lies the the thing we went there for was the air conditioner and the part

"When the products are similar,the dealer makes the difference." My experience was exactly like every other dealership. I sent a request through cars.com for availability of a vehicle. I did not hear back from the dealer so I called and got connected with Scott kenney (Bdc manager). I made it perfectly clear I didn't want to fill out the credit app if the vehicle had been promised. He assured me the vehicle was on the lot and had not been spoken for. I was willing to drive up to Kerrville from Houston to pickup the vehicle. Once he assured me I had first dibs I filled out the app and never heard back from Scott. The old bait and switch tactic was being used. I get a text the following day from a different salesman that the vehicle had been sold. You may want to evaluate employees on how customers are treated. The employees are the image of the dealership, and if you have people misrepresenting your name you may lose customer. After all best advertising is word of mouth. Highly unsatisfied
They are always very quick on my trucks maintenance oil changes, and very helpful when I need parts. You couldn t ask for better customer service. It s a pleasure going there.

This is the first time I made a reservation on line from Onstar's reminder. It was very easy to do and then got a followup reminder too . The service department team is always so friendly and helpful and while in the waiting room, the rest of the sales team were friendly as they passed by. They have been my dealer since 2006.
