First visit. And I will visit again and again. Wonderful meal and great value.

The restaurant is located at a prime location on the Waterfront, and serves good sushi with a lovely wine list.

Fantastic dining experience. Everything was perfect from the moment we went in to the moment me and my friend left. Hats off to the kitchen staff in particular. Great wine selection and trendy atmosphere really set the vibe. Will be back soon :)

Recently revamped or new managenent? The sushi was average for Cape Town, sadly this used to be better. The fresh look and obvious great setting at the V&A still make this a firm choice for locals and visitors alike.

My 2nd time at Sevruga I just love the design and setting of that place. Their food is tasteful and attractive not to mention the cocktails....pity we missed out on *Happy Hour Classic Sushi & Cocktails* but definitely will be there next time

We were invited here to a "sushi special" evening. An impressive ambience. Sushi was good. Need to have a lunch to assess menu & daytime & will review.

Extensive menu selection coupled with great service makes for a fine dining experience. Food quality did not disappoint either, along with an amazing collection of quality local wines. On a good day, make sure to be seated on the patio area overlooking the harbour. A must visit if you intend dining at the V&A

The sushi was excellent and so was the wine selection. They have a nice promo from 12:00 - 19:00 half priced on sushi and cocktails.

First time back here since the place was revamped. The restaurant looks awesome, the food was fantastic and the drinks even better. I like the new layout and themes used for the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sushi was fresh and the place was full when we were there.

Definitely worth a visit, although might be a little pricey for some.

Great experience food was great, a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Great views if the Harbour.

The food is phenomenal it was seasoned to perfection, the vegetables are not overcooked and soggy whatsoever and the fish is fresh ,tasty and sauces are paired well.

We had MARTIN as our waiter and he had such a great way of interaction and explaining the menu items and reading crowd . Great sense of humour....

The food is very good.. Even it's mostly af fish and seashells I had the Rack if Lamb. It was excelent!

Sevruga Restaurant at the V & A Waterfront is one of the best dining places i have been to. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday absolutely special. The food we had ordered was superb and it did not take long. Their drinks are unique and inexpensive and the view is just perfect. I would recommend you try Sevruga if you haven't already been.

The meal was excellent! Steak perfect, gnocchi just perfect. Also cocktails great - in the evening but difficult to serve outside, we had to wait 20 minutes yesterday for someone to come, then we asked the bill ourselves at reception, but 10 minutes later the bill came without any excuse. No problem during the day.

Loved the lunch time experience here. An epic wine list which pairs with a number of beautiful meals too. All set up by the lovely docks.

Excellent fish restaurant. Yellowtail fish and sushi are well recommended. Good service though a little bit slow.

Used to be great. But I did hear it's under new management so that explains it.

Absolutely ridiculous pricing for the in shell seafood. The pricing is not at all transparent and portions are too small for the price. Avoid this tourist trap!

This is probably the best restaurant in the V & A Waterfront. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are fantastic. We had a table for two at this place twice during our recent visit to Capetown! Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing, beautiful and cosy place, however had a miscommunication with a waiter and it spoiled the whole night for us. The food was delicious though.

Setting lovely, restaurant neat. Delayed service does not make up for the good food. Overall very frustrating lunch. Cocktails not up to parr. Aroma in restaurant not pleasing.

Sevruga is still the best sushi restaurant in Cape Town. The outside dining area has been revamped and includes stack doors to protect against wind, sun and rain. The ongoing sushi and cocktail special makes it worth the visit!

Sevruga has a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is delicious - however more in the expensive side.

I was one of three people from our table of 6 to have violent food poisoning after a visit. We all ate salmon sashimi. Further disappointing to wait two weeks to receive an unsympathetic and arrogantly phrased email from the general manager claiming that the restaurant could not be at fault. Avoid.

Food was amazing, I'm giving 4 stars because we had to wait 2 hours for our desserts after mains.

Overall, fantastic food. Crayfish was a bit of a disappointment. But sushi was amazing and drinks were great!

Spent New Year's Eve there, with 5 course menu. The food did not convince us for the equivalent of 150 euros, the location and the ambience on the waterfront saved the whole thing a bit.

It is ideally situated with a panoramic view of the waterfront. The menu is small but delicately designed for every palate.The sushi menu is extraordinary sumptuous with a huge choice. The service is impeccable and highly professional with a touch of human being at the helmet.It is a great place to entertain.

Vegetarian sushi comprises of rice, cucumber and avo. That s it. People who work here are very professional. That being said, I waited 15min for a glass of wine. Other than that service was wonderful. But if you are looking for interesting sushi, especially vegan options, rather head over to the sister Restaurant Beluga.

The sushi special was underwhelming compared to a couple of years ago. The presentation was bland and the cocktail tasted overly sweet as if a cheap mixer was used. A big draw to this establishment used to be that they didn't skimp on the "5 star experience" even for those choosing the specials menu. Being a longstanding fan of Sevruga I was sadly disappointed today.

Good quality food, service here and there mite need some work, overall always a pleasure to go there.

Splendid service and fantastic seafood at Cape Town s waterfront. It gets really crowded on the weekends so booking ahead is a must.

Always great spot and worth while sushi special from noon. I enjoy coming here for a quick bite to eat by myself between shopping sprees as there are so many people to watch and boats to see coming in and out of the harbor. The staff are always lovely and sushi is always fresh

There is good view decorated in tropical green colour which is very attractive,They over high quality food and beverages.

Absolutely perfect dining experience. Our waiter was professional and friendly. We had tuna, swordfish and vegetarian sushi and all dishes were extremely tasty. Would love to visit again If they had more options for the people who are allergic to sea food.

Afternoon sushi/dim sum/cocktails at half price are FANTASTIC and banging value go forth and enjoy xoxo
