Walked the Golden Gate Bridge and down to Cavallo Point for lunch
Ate on the porch with our dog and enjoyed the fabulous view
Delicious oysters but no domestic light beer
Been coming here for years and always a goodtime
The staff is very cordial & accommodating
Classy without being pretentious

The hot tub is in a good spot. The view is beautiful. You can get a great view of the Golden gate bridge. It is only a few minutes walking, so you can see it up close. The rooms higher on the hill all have full windows which give a great view. The area is very windy. It is much cooler than nearby areas. Definitely bring an extra jacket.

This was my third visit to San Francisco. On a previous trip, I had walked past Cavallo Point and loved the location and so decided to stay here on my latest visit. I was drawn to the hotel mainly because of the location and secondly More

Really was looking forward to going here, we have tried 3 times but something always got in the way. Today we made and I was disappointed with the food and service. The view was amazing, just don't each at the restaurant.

The room service was good, the food was good and the bartender was nice. I liked the hotel overall. It had a really good view from the 3rd floor and most of the hotel room was clean. Good place!

We love Cavallo Point. It's beautiful and peaceful tucked under the Golden Gate. The rooms are so comfortable. I always sleep so well there. The bar and restaurant so good and entertaining. A top rated resort.

We stayed here in August 2015 and 2016. The first time with our teenage sons. They really enjoyed having a separate room in the traditional remodeled rooms. We woke up one morning to Ferrari's lining the drive. My 16 year old son was in heaven! They were getting ready for some sort of race I suppose.

Two tiers of rooms, the older style that is renovated interiors of the barracks and new construction of very modern style. Both are great, but both are expensive. The amenities are great, especially the spa, which has an excellent steam More

Beautiful hotel in an historic and absolutely gorgeous setting. Depending on your room you may have to hike up a hill, but don't let it discourage you. Beautiful views of the Golden gate bridge and easy access to Sausalito and the Marin Headlands

Our day tour experience was amazing! Aside from the delicious foods and clean facilities. Your service was also good, especially the two ladies in the lobby area. We love the employees' energy and positivity. Plus, the beach is beautiful. Your hotel is recommendable! I will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends!

Bed was really comfy. Front desk was helpful when there was a silver dollar sized spider in our bed that got away and they switched our rooms) we had a 3 year old sleeping with a spider was not an option. But the place is way over priced and the food at the restaurant is maybe 3 stars.

Simply beautiful! The staff is waiting happily at the door with a huge smile and a friendly welcome. The views are absolutely breath taking. There's an art gallery, restaurant ane boutique store on the resort grounds. They are also part of the Lexus Partnership. It's a very short ride to the city. I would recommend Cavallo Point Lodge to anyone traveling to San Francisco.

one of the most stunningly beautiful and authentic collection of lodging, drinking, dining, biking, strolling, boating and sightseeing that we have ever found. The lodge is amazing, the bar and food is 4 start (at least), and the service was 4-to-5 star.

Idyllic, serene, location convenient to Sausilito and San Francisco. My room was in the original officers barracks. Quiet, with a beautiful view and beautifully updated bathroom, though no air conditioning. Wish I had time for a dip in the pool and the spa, both of which were very appealing. So enjoyed the calm and views, that I returned again a few years later for the Lexus Culinary Classic.

Good food, but I would still rate other high end places higher. Service was a bit sloppy but mostly I'm nitpicking. Definitely take a look at their menu. In my opinion their tasting menu is better. Website is horrible though.

I went to the restaurant and was incredible. The taste was explosive and fantastic. Service was perfect and the location is beautiful. What else? I have no idea about the prices, I didn't pay.

We had an aperitif overlooking the Golden Gate. All very nice and drink prices not exaggerated. 2 glasses of wine and some $ 35 snacks. But it's really worth it, it's a very special place.

Awesome scenery and amazing food. You can't wish for more. The staff are really nice professional. It is expensive though but with the view and strategic location next to the Golden Gate Bridge, it is well worth it. I am glad I visited.

Super location! You wake up with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, what more do you want when you are in San Francisco. The staff was great and really ready for you 24/7. A hotel / lodge should be like that, it simply couldn't be better. If I have the opportunity, I will certainly come back here.

A beautiful resort property overlooking the Golden Gate bridge. The rustic feel of the complex makes you feel like you've been transported into an idyllic oasis, retreating from all the hustle and bustle of normal life, even though you're just minutes from San Francisco.

The onsite restaurant is solid and the rooms are nicely appointed though basic.

The lodge was beautiful, quiet, and a great place for our professional meeting. The staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous. The food was great. In fact everything was great, so the 4/5 rating is only because it's not the fanciest, but for a more rustic setting it was basically perfect.

You will LOVE this place. You will be DISAPPOINTED in the service. The people seem trained to be annoying; I think they go to school to learn how to speak in a sweet, interrupting, unhelpful way. How can someplace so beautiful have such negative energy...it sticks on you after you are there and comes out in posts such as this one.

Awesome place! Lots to do, see, etc. A dream day trip or vacation...But very expensive. You can go upscale or picnic lunch. Just beware it's a very expensive place so be prepared first.

This spa and brunch place is the best place to really TREAT yourself. The spa is tucked away in a quiet area that overlooks the Golden Gate Bridge. It is fairly pricey around $180 for a deep tissue massage. However, it comes with the whole experience. Clean facilities, sauna and hot tub. Walk over to the point lodge for an amazing gluten free and health conscious menu. The fish tacos and quinoa bowl with added protein was so fresh and had the right amount of citrus to it. Would recommend !
