This is a great escape from the city. We stayed in one of the old buildings, but it was really well maintained. It was very peaceful and we could bring our dog. Would love to come back for dinner and try one of the more modern rooms on the hillside. They have balconies and look like they offer more natural light.

A perfect hotel to stay with. I had a reservation from this hotel. I can really say that this hotel is the cleanest hotel that I had. The room was spaciously big and clean. The bathroom was big as well. The staves were so friendly and accommodating. Overall it was an amazing stay that I've experienced from this hotel.
Lovely place. I've seen 3 rooms, both the older rooms and the new ones and they are all very nice. The staff is courteous and helpful. The food is good as well. And the view of the bay and city is absolutely beautiful. Worth a stay.
Rooms are amazing and the view is great. It's close enough to SF to go to but a nice escape when you're sick of the city. Also many great hikes nearby.
Just beautiful, a piece of history, used to be a military base, which is protected by California! Is a beautiful place that offers a breathtaking view!
There was no experience to describe! We had reserved a luxurious room online and before we left our house to take the 3 hour drive we called to on firm our reservation and to make sure our room was going to be available and ready. Everything checked out so we were on our way. Upon arriving it appeared to be a nice family friendly environment although everything looked outdated for what they charge. When we go to check in theyes told us that there had been a mistake and our room was not availabe. They moved us into a different room and said they would give us a free night. We get to that room and decided that there was no way we were going to pay that much for a basic room! Very basic! Not to mention parking is ridiculous. So we asked for a refund and went and stayed in a Hilton with the room that we were more then satisfied with. We are still waiting for our refund because we paid for it online
This is a serene peaceful place, perfect for getting away for a few days (or even just a spa day). The scenery is some of the most spectacular the Bay has to offer.
Paid for a contemporary king assuming it would be a nicer newer room but the cabinets in the bathroom are water damaged and even came complete with toothpaste residue in the drawer.
Made the mistake of asking for a beautiful view so they made a point of giving me the worst view they had and then offered me the same room upstairs from this one with the same view but $75 more a night
You will probably do better not to ask so they don t see an opportunity to squeeze more money out of you

Relaxing resort with plenty of amenities. The spa was gorgeous and the service was excellent. Turn down service available. Good for couples, families or weekend getaways.
Polite staff but rooms truly old fashion. Choices are contemporary and historical. Truly a throwback in places. Dont stay if you need air conditioning!!
Worth the stop. Used to be a military base, converted into a unique resort. At least stop and visit the cool bar and outdoor patio or fire pits or walk the grounds.
Comfortable and luxurious rooms, views that will take your breath away. Minutes away from the hustle and bustle, yet feels like you're away from it all.
This place is an absolute gem! My husband brought me here as surprise gift along with the cooking class, and I've been raving to everyone ever since.
Let's start with the location and facilities. Absolutely gorgeous. As a Bay Area local, I forget how beautiful this area can be. With it's views of the Golden Gate and the serene nature of the property, you will forget where you are. The food is phenomenal (try their house-made pasta), the service was great, and they have a fair amount of amenities added in, including access to their spa pool, hiking trails, and yoga.
Do not be scared off by the price--it is worth every penny! And if you can come to one of the cooking classes, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait for my next stay!
First time staying at this refurbished officers quarters, in the middle of the GGNRA (Golden Gate National Recreation Area). Great suite rooms, great meeting space, terrific restaurant. Absolutely stunning beauty, with a view of the Golden Gate and the SF skyline.
An easy drive to a fantastic getaway in Marin County. Enjoy scenic views, picturesque walks, sparkling cocktails, delicious bites all while in a comfortable lodge setting. Sit by the fireplace and cozy up next to a loved one.
