Rude, disrespectful women working at the front desk. You would expect a place like this to employ kind, compassionate people. These women at reception are far from it. They are down right rude. I'll never donate another item or penny to them ever. They should not be in business.
This a good place if you need the help. Make sure you read what you need or call and get a list. I took someone who was displaced and they helped them with a hot shower a cot and meals. Helped with finding work and maintaining their independent life after they got on their feet.

Catholic Charities has helped my family so much and so many ways all the resources you need are in one place Food Bank WIC Immigration Center welfare office homeless cafeteria they also have a section for help with rental assistance bills and getting record such as your ID birth certificates don't open that door
Fun homeless junkies everywhere to interact with. But for real thanks for letting me stay the night.
A temporary place for folks that need a bed and 1 meal per day. Don't get too comfortable, your stay should be short, rent a room or Apartment asap. It's not that pleasant here.

Went there to try to get some food from the food pantry and they turned me away and said they don't take new clients until the second week of November... And I went on the 1st of October!

CATHOLIC CHARITIES of Southern Nevada services deffinitly a lot of people in need. The pavilion, pantry and client services are extremely efficient in the services they provide for guests which also include clothing distributed for people in need. A New navigation center for research in housing and placement. Including program for guests who have a job but no place to live (new).
Can't stand this place. Lived at the shade three for a few months. We ate lunch and dinner here. Soup and bread... a mixture of all kinds of soup. Everyday. Then my dad worked in the kitchen said they fed him steaks and sausage and everything else good under the sun. The men will run you and your child over for a yogurt cup. Glad I got outta there. Never again.

I was here for awhile and staff, especially David, were nurturing, professional and treatedthe homeless like HB, NOT TRASH.
They were very helpful. Had to wait a long time but it was worth it.
For anyone lookong for help with the food pantry here are some things you must bring to qualify
1.)Valid Nevada ID
2.)Proof of address (Dated within the last 30 days)
3.)Birth certificates for all the children you are applying for.
They allow 5lbs. at the top of your cart 15lbs. At the bottom for fruits and vegetables, 2 meats from the freezer, 1 bread and 1 pastry item.
This place is always helpful and staff are very friendly. We were running out of food and we do not get paid until the 1st and they gave us enough to make a few meals to last till then, we are more than grateful! Thank you guys for your help!
Their not Christian and they could care less about the elderly or those who take care of the elderly.

I just came from Catholic charities and the staff was very nice. I like to thank everyone who donated to Catholic charities it helped us alot very much appreciated. I also like to give Ms Lidia who was very generous with her services today. It was such a blessing today thank you all.

Horrible workers sat there for 3 hrs and they letting other go ahead of me cause i was new and then they told my friend that since he didnt have NV id yet he could only get 1 bag of food even though he brought a lease and gas bill this place is rude and disrespects people

I Volunteer at Catholic Charities Food Pantry, & we work there on the Last Thursday of every month. I LOVE IT! The people that run it, work there, & volunteer there, are SWEET, FUN, & wonderful! WE HELP ALOT of people! And Catholic Charities consists of 7 acres, & MANY Services that Really HELP OUR COMMUNITY! They are Angels

The property is HUGE!! Social Services is relatively efficient.. fast getting in & out. They have a big food bank... All kinds of offices and programs to help people.
Had a good time helping my church family provide socks for those less fortunate.
I dont use any of the services here, but eather I donate on a monthly basis. The pantryvis always grateful of my drop offs, and always seem to be helpig pwople around them. Any chance you have to help them out I suggest it, theyre always appreciative.

Due to a change of management regarding st Vincent studios conflict of interest is still very high between tenant and management. As the New Year begins we will see what kind of repoire actually gets anything accomplished. The social services/client services is always packed as I believe these to be the most frequented ones and not a lot of seating capacity. The dining hall and pantry are adequate but leaves plenty room for improvement from 2-3 years ago. Restructure is vital for understanding needs of the community from this side of town.

Catholic Charities is one of the better Food Pantries; however be sure you have you state NV I.D., Clarity Card; in addition, if you have cooking facilities, you must have your rent receipt or form letter from landlord. I haven't seen any exceptions to these rules.
They do what they can to help you get what you need.

I enjoy the volunteering definitely going back, My only minor complain is that the actual employees are a bit unpleasant, the volunteers are very sweet!
I like this place when I'm struggling with my food budget. If you go early enough in the month you'll get better selection. Just make sure that you get there as early as possible. Get in line at least between 7:15 and 7:45 to get a good spot.
