I had the ribs. They melted off the bone but really wasn't all that tasty - more of a dry taste and had lots of barbeque sauce. I haven't been to this place in years. I should have had all you can eat salad bar. That's always been a big hit. I'll go back another time and try something else. This place has nostalgia.

Great classic steak house in warm setting. So bummed they re-modeled the Riverside location and then closed it. Worth driving to Rancho for however!

Rustic building, possibly a converted old winery in the Cucamonga wine region. Good medium priced steaks, seafood, burgers, etc. Good service!

Cask n Cleaver has been around since I was a kid. Only back then the nearest building may have been the radio station KSOM. To this day I still enjoy the restaurant. You can get an rxcellent meal for a decent price. You don t pay a premium for the name of the restaurant nor do you have to fight crowds. I enjoy getting a steak, a loaded baked potato, mushrooms , asparagus and of course the all you can eat salad bar. Normally I can split most of my meal as the serving proportions are a fair size. Having the all you can eat salad bar is an added bonus as that in itself can fill me up. The salad bar is not one of those fancy long salad bars. It is a decent size but it has everything in it that one wants when having a salad. I like the salad bar so much that when people ask me about the Cask I brag not about the excellent steaks but the salad bar.
The staff is very friendly. They have a nice size bar where you can have cocktails prior to dinner. The location may seem rather odd but remember the restaurant was open long before any of the neighboring houses were there. If you want a good meal or a good steak
at a restaurant that has not been commercialized then this is the place to go. Oh yeah , don t forget to try out the salad bar!

Old fashioned, comfy place. Salad bar is great, with o,e of the best ranch dressings I have ever had. Warm rolls served with butter. Yum!

this is a go to place for me and my wife to get really good food, plus the salad bar is awesome (pototoe salad and freshly diced bacon).

I brought clients to the Cask tonight, Wednesday evening. I've been a customer of this store for 25 some years. Do me a favor Chuck, give me the option to pay you $60.00 for a choice 1 inch thick rib eye x 8 as opposed to $29 x 8 for steak-ems. C'mon, the quality experience I tried to host tonight embarrassed me. I'm mad actually at myself for not checking out the menu and quality before assuming it was the same as a couple of years ago. This is no longer a Steak House but more a watering hole. Think it time to sell perhaps?

GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE....TOOK MY GF THERE FOR HER BIRTHDAY ON 9/12/15. EVERYTHING ON A SCALE OF 1-5, WAS A 5 PLUS!! RARELY DO I GET ENOUGH TO EAT, ESPECIALLY AT A RESTAURANT THE QUALITY OF C & C, BUT THE 10 OZ. FILET MIGNON WAS ONE OF THE BEST PIECES OF MEAT I'VE E-V-E-R EXPERIENCED....MY GF RAVED OVER THE SCAMPI, MAMMOTH BAKED POTATO, AND THE REAL CHURNED BUTTER FOR THE EXCEPTIONALLY DELICIOUS BREAD....AN "OVER THE TOP" EATING EXPERIENCE!!

Okay, this is one of my best kept secrets. This place has good food and outstanding server and bar staff but they have a Mon-Fri menu that can't be beat. And all day Happy hour you must stop by.

Really great steaks. The smoky flavor was delicious! A little pricy, but worth it. I got the Porterhouse for $32. All other steaks were in the mid to low $20 range. Wine by the glass starts at $9, but they have a decent beer selection for $6. I would definitely go back.

They shouldn't have closed the other two restaurants

Great Steaks, I was very imprested with the quality of the steak and lobster. I like my steak blue and the actually got it correct! My wife ordered the lobster and we were worried that it would be over cooked, it was not and came out delicious. Enjoyed the kool old school atmosphere and the service was helpful and provided a nice experience. Definitely would recommend. I will definitely be back!

Great service, good atmosphere, the food was delicious, everyone in our group of eight was very happy even though half of us are extremely picky.

I've been coming here for special dinners since 1998. This is my favorite steak house. Their prime rib is great because of their delicious seasoning on the side of it. I ask for mine rare with the seasoning that's on the edges added to the top too. Their midori sour, my favorite drink, is just excellent...best I've had at a restaurant. The brown (pumpernickel?) rolls they serve before dinner are just heavenly. If you can get a window table, you'll get a nice view of their secluded garden patio. They have a big wine list, though I've never ordered from it. The atmosphere is intimate, maybe even romantic because it is a little dark inside. But it is also perfect for a girls' night out or a birthday dinner. Over the years, it has served as the perfect place for a date, dinner with hubby's boss, and for when folks have visited from out of town who would enjoy an upscale steak house without the snobby attitude. I've had wonderful service there from the staff, some even recognizing us after it had been over a year since we'd last been there. This place is really a gem. I have noticed that it's more of an older crowd there, especially in the last couple of years, but I like that, as you won't find screaming and running kids, everyone glued to their cell phones, or people looking like they just rolled out of bed. People dress up a little to go there, and seem to have a certain amount of decorum, so it feels like a "real date" when hubby and I get a sitter and go out on a dinner date here.

Very dirty floors table and chairs..I got the filet mignon and was very disappointed hardly any flavor and plate presentation was very poor.i will not be coming back to this place again

Came here for Valentine's Day and our server was super friendly and patient with us as we were waiting for another member of our party. Food here is always amazing when I come.

Great COVID response. Outdoor seating, and available hand sanitizer and wipes for patron use. All staff wore masks appropriately (nose covered). Oh, and the food was also delicious.
