Service was better than the food. I ordered my steak medium well and it came out well done. Everything tasted good but I felt like it could have been better. I hadn't been there in years but I remember it being better than it was tonight.

Great steakhouse in a really weird part of town. Nothing wrong with the location but you can tell this thing has been there for decades. Really old-school vibe and the food was outstanding. Will be back again.

The day we were there, @ 5 there was nobody else. It was great.
We had the best garlic cheese bread, they were longer than expected & obviously handmade.
They had a crumbly coating & I believe they were the best I've ever had.
Absolutely outstanding. I'm going back just for the wonderful harlic cheese sticks.
My guests had steaks with their meal, they all said their steaks we're perfectly cooked & everything was eaten.

Was not at all what I expected. I am going to cask n Cleaver many times and that was years ago, so I guess things of changed or maybe this one has changed. I ordered salmon and generally salmon is expensive enough that they prepare it more carefully and with different seasonings but I ve never had it served so bland. Definitely was not worth the money. I would never go to this restaurant again

Their fried avocdos is a must have for appetizer. Our
Server Misty was wonderful and so as the entire staff was great. They work as a team. I would totally come back and take my steak family and friends

Went to CnC for Valentine's Day. Paris our server was outstanding. She was Always checking on us ad refilling our drinks. She had many tables to tend too.
We ordered the buffalo wings and the sauteed mushrooms. Both were delicious.
I ordered the too sirloin and vegetables. The steak was cooked to perfection as was the vegetables.
My wife ordered the shish kabobs and rice. The kabobs were cooked perfectly.
I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
Thanks again Paris. Keep up the excellent service.

Nice place but bummer that I was sat in a very small cramp table that looks like it was made for kids in the rear corner of the restaurant on Christmas eve...I come every year and love to look at all the decor but not this year and was told no other table was available so will have to think it through for next year service was not the best this year also probley because of the location of that table totally hidden in the corner :(

I don't know what the previous users are complaining about. The food was excellent, service terrific, and atmosphere nice. A really great place for dinner. Prime Rib was very tender and delicious.

Have been going to the Cask and Cleaver, for over 30 years - an experience, for the most part, has basically remained unchanged.
Good balance of service, as our waitstaff was courteous and friendly.
The food is still pretty good, but the quality of the steaks we ordered, could have been better for the price.
Still consider C&C to be a local jewel.

service is good but food was just okay. all the food was warm and not hot (as in just cooked and delivered). nothing to write home about - calamari was small bits only - seems like the left over scraps. I got the naked 'buffalo wings' and it seems to be missing something - very plain. Also warm only. baby back ribs were so-so. the filet mignon was alright but didn't stand out. Service was good.

Ordered Top Sirloin, blue cheese. 1 the blue cheese was not melted enough, the steak was very good on the left, when i started the right side it was tough. Side garden salad was terrible completely wet that it washed out the dressing. Ambience was ok, building is super old and looks like it did 50 years ago. It looks like it's ready to collapse. This restaurant would be one of the top steak houses in the Inland Empire. If only they would start renovating the place. Or sell it to someone that would know the potential. The property is large, big parking lot, building is also pretty large but it's a Maze. From all the helter skelter band aids. Sorry to be so brutally honest. But I would love to go there to show it off to my friends that live in the West Side of LA. Yes I lived and worked there for more than 30 years.
