Casino Fandango Reviews

No matter what season of the year it is or what time of the day...it is always freezing cold in the casino and they wont do anything about it. If you go their to play...take a parka with you...you'll need it!

Sunday we went to the Fandango to have breakfast and then go to the movies. We were told that since the hostess was on vacation, a waitress was seating people. After waiting five minutes for her to come forward since she was also cleaning tables and pouring coffee, we were told fifteen to twenty minutes. Twenty minutes later we discovered our name was not on the list. It seems that a bus boy was an hour late arriving and they had no one to cover either his job or the hostess's job. We were eventually seated but late to the movie. My advice is be happy and avoid Sundays at Fandango.

Great casino frequented by many local residents. Its location at the foot of one of the roads to Lake Tahoe probably also provide convenience for those traveling to Lake Tahoe.

Went to the buffet fast getting in a lot of food to select from and a decent price

It was nice typical buffet style food...if you like that kind of set up. Some food was okay but some was undercooked ie:sausage patties. Mimosas where great . Overall nice experience.

We actually went there for the prime rib dinner special. It's the best prime rib I've had. We played the slots after dinner and enjoyed the evening.

Food is good. Machines are tight. You might as well just hand over your money

Nice clean local casino. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Definitely could smell the smoke even before we opened the door but that is to be expected. Plenty of parking fairly close to the entrance otherwise we would have used the valet parking. Would recommend a stop here if ever in the area.

I work with amazing people I am a Runner/Writer for keno. I prefer buffet over Palm court we have amazing people here workers and guests.

Granted, it's near impossible to cover an entire casino as large as ones like these, but I found the selection of games to be kind of limited, & found myself having to walk a good ways to find the slots I enjoy the most (I fairly gave it 3 stars, but I prefer to play elsewhere if I'm in the area).

It's around 25% your typical Game King video poker/keno machines, 50% giant, loud, new, pretty machines, & 25% the older IGT machines with the classic games (my personal favorite), the 1-9 line bar slots, & other miscellaneous slots. I also didn't see any table games (again, I didn't get to cover the whole casino, but a decent chunk of it).

On the more positive side, the cocktail waitresses are very awesome & very fast. There's also a few fountain attractions, with games circled around them.

I guess I'm a little bit biased, because this casino is actually very bright (think the GSR, or Dotty's, except the lights are all rainbow & stuff) instead of the soft, low lighting (think the Atlantis, or the trio in downtown Reno), & I got a little bit of a headache.

Casino Fandango is a large for our casino for our community. It was built recently.
It is clean, good restaurants, bars, and gaming. There is a hotel and multi screen theater at the venue..

The service in the Paradise Grill in the Fandango Casino was awful. So slow and all we ordered was breakfast food and sandwiches. How do you bring out a chicken and steak sandwich before eggs and French toast. The lettuce on the sandwiches was brown. We had to box the food and take it to go. We asked for seperate checks, which we did not get. We go to the register you have two woman working but one can't do anything including seat the line of people waiting. We ask to split the check she says she can't do it go find the waiter. We asked for the manager they said he was around somewhere. We found the waiter got the check split. A man walks up in shorts and she says Shelby I asked if he was the manager he says yes. We tell him about the service, he says "Oh you should've asked for me" We did ask for you. I tell him about the lettuce being old and brown he says "Oh well I just had a salad and mine was fine". Is that the proper response for your customers? He offered no assistance and walked away. Also no where is it appropriate for you to rudely say where are you from because you dont understand someones accent. We will NEVER dine at the Paradise Grill again. AWFUL service and rude staff.

Ate at the coffee shop. Place reeks of cigarettes. Change your filters more often. And get rid of those tired, dusty fake plants.

The food was at most mediocre, but that was fine because we were starving. What made my experience horrible was our waiter barging into our conversation to belittle someone in our party.

Good price for during the week however the food is lacking

Never win anything at this place. They need poker rooms tournaments

The buffet line is usually long and the price is a little high, but they are about the only buffet in town.

Had a great time!! Ribs, music, kicking good time! Gonna be even bigger next year.
