Casela Nature & Leisure Park Reviews

I was there a couple of years ago it was awesome n this week I was a bit disappointed. Still good but the lawns n different cages not well taken care of (personal view). Management should boost his team.

Nice place to hangout with family or friends. They've got quite a few interesting activities on the list to keep you entertained. Definitely try on the quad bike rides. I think it's the best way to explore the park and see the animals.

Well it need to stay a whole day here to enjoy to the maximum i mean at casela nature park

Beautiful adventure! Too bad the bad timing and closing at 17h did not allow us to do all the activities. Things are to perfect.

Let's say that the other is a zoo rather than a safari, and anyway many activities like walking with lions or interacting are all expensive and out of standard price.
Honestly we went there on a gloomy day but if the weather is good you do nothing but see the island.

An amazing experience. Be prepared for a full day of fun. But try get there early on a weekday and avoid weekends which comes with very long cues for all rides etc.

Beautiful park / zoo. In particular the interactions with the animals and the walk with the lions deserve the trip and the price of the ticket (however high, above all the walk with the lions)

Walk with lions and other cats weren't allowed. Too long distance to walk and cover the park. Safari isn't great . Very few deers and zebras. Overall not a great experience as expected

A excellent place to view big cats from very near. Also interaction with big cats and walking with then is possible. Though it is basically a zoo, but feels like a natural animal reserve. A must visit place.

Everything is good except the behaviour and attitude of a worker at tulawaka . A worker there insulted me in front of the other clients. He told me that because i am thin it means that i am not an adult. I've also reported at the reception but no one called to assure me that they have solve this matter . SERIOUSLY !! By the way there are other people who are taking their child under 10 years old and doing tulawaka . Even my neice is 12 years old and they allowed her to do tulawaka alone and i am more than 18 i was asked to get down that machine !

Very bad customer service done by this guy . Surely he should be retrained.

It's pretty park but I have to admit it does things I am not keen on like walking with lions.
Lions are supposed to hunt animals and people.
They are either starved or drugged up.

One of the most beautiful safari that you can see in your life, it was opened in 1979, it contains about 1500 neighborhoods between birds and lions, you can choose a bike or left to wander in Cassila so that you are close to the animals and see them as if they were in their habitat, one of the most beautiful can be seen giant turtles.

A great place to spend a day. Since we had a day free and Casela was close to our hotel we decided to go there.
It Was completely worth the visit.

The tickets are around $12 PP for Foreigners.
You are treated with a 4D movie to begin with.
Then you enter the section where there are around 60-70 different birds from all over the world, some really exotic ones and even a bird cage where you can walk inside among dozens of different birds.
Then you visit the section with leopards cheetahs and white lions. You can click pictures with giraffes.

The best part is the ancient tortoise roaming around with whom you can click pictures.

There also different activities like zipline, roller coaster, water slides etc.

Overall a must visit place in Mauritius.

BEST ZOO I HAVE EVERY BEEN TOO. BENGAL TIGERS WHERE AMAZING.

A beautiful and serene nature park, very neat and clean. The animals here are very healthy and interactive. A must visit when in Mauritius. The interaction with lion and jungle safari are the star attractions. The entire Casela team is friendly.

Very nice place for family time but the food and souvenirs too expensive

Kind of a big Zoo with a Safari and may other activities inside like walking with the big cats, ... Worth it, but too expensive!!

Forest is Not much excellence, but thrill mountain is awsome.. we enjoyed it !!!

The park is still very good but all the activities are now paying (even the tobbogan, the small safari at the end of the park, ...). Fortunately the prices are at 50% less at the moment otherwise I find that it has really become too expensive. Too bad not sure to return at a prohibitive price ...

Good but they did not let us do our tiroyen as we had the tickets because of the weather but they told us I can't do that another day by the same ticket
