Nothing like service at a small town local hardware store. Very friendly!

It's like shopping at a high end store, except its the same things you can buy anywhere else for twice the price, 4$ for a small chocolate milk? 6$ for a roll of tape that's 1.99 at Wal-Mart, I'm fine paying a little more to not go to Walmart but 300%? I left feeling like someone should have bought me a drink before having their way with me. Not sure how this place has stayed open, I can get mediocre assistance from a teenager anywhere with that same minimum wage feel.

The long and the short is, drive an extra few miles, save money anyhow, and put an end to a predatory little store.

Unlike the big box stores, here you actually do receive great service and very polite staff!

If I figure my time is worth at least $10.00 per hour my small purchases are always cheaper here than running to Saint Cloud or Monticello and the staff is incredibly helpful.

When you need something all the big box stores will also have, come here. It is closer, the people are great. John the owner is very helpful. The girls (and guys) that work there are very knowledgeable. Prices are comparable. Home Depot is just down the road, but I would much rather come here if they have what I need.

Always helpful, will order if they don't have what you're looking for. Best hardware store around! Huge asset for Becker and surrounding area!

It's great, I almost always find what I need without having to drive to St.Cloud or Monticello.
I have to update this review. I stopped by 2 weeks ago and was immediately greeted and asked if I would like some assistance. I was looking for 5 or 6 specific items. The sales specialist directed the way to the items I needed and described the difference in products. I left a very happy customer. I will always check/ shop here first.

Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful, a True Value to the community makes it easy to shop local first, from U-haul rentals, nails,nuts, bolts, household items, and paint; even brawn when needed. I would give 10 stars!

One of the best hardware stores I've been into! Unfortunately they are a dying breed. John (owner) has been operating in Becker for over 20 years! Not only is he an amazing FFL Dealer he is a wonderful man! Have had a few good stories with him. His staff is always very helpful! Keep up the great work everyone! Support your local Hardware Store!

The store is well supplied with great selection. If they do not have it they can usually order it, to you can order to the store from the True Value website. I ordered my lawn mower from them. They stock the parts for the maintenance of the mowers they sell! Kim and John have built one of the Anchor businesses in Becker with great staff and perfect service.
Bring your broken item to the store so they can identify what the replacement is! Nellie, Rhonda, and any of the local youth will be able to find your item. Many times some of the other locals in the store can help with advice! They rent equipment also, but do not break their stuff please! I might need it next!
Paint, dog food (frequent buyers club), fishing tackle, hunting supplies, ammo, nails bolts screws, auto care, tools, plumbing, electrical, carpentry supplies, doors-(they do screen replacement), pipe cutting and threading (during day with tenured staff), garden supplies, some jeans (your welcome), boots (redwing), work gloves, heating and air stuff- duct work end pieces, and most important:

Locals who care and have a great sense of humor.

For a small town store they are not as friendly and accommodating as one would think. I gave them three chances and this last time put the nail in the coffin! I'll just say NEVER rent a UHale from them! Plus their prices are pretty high.

They usually have what I need and service is usually good. I find their hours are not the most convenient though. It seems like when I REALLY need something to wrap up a project they're closed already. Oh well. Shop local!

Great place for everything plumbing, painting,nails, screws and a million other things needed around the place.

Lots of variety, can get almost any project done with stuff from here. Employees are top notch and seem to know where everything in their store is.

Pay a little more but the convience is nice and carry a wide range of items, also ive noticed they carry the better quality items in some areas compared to big box retailer.
As any other small store you gotta pick and choose what you purchase there, always get someone to show me were something is without having to search around, very helpful, and great to have them in town!

Best kept secret around (or maybe not). We are so fortunate to have them!
