Sweet, sweet, cheesy, in an online booking, and it...
Sweet, sweet, cheesy, in an online booking, and its price is reasonable, but it is important that one goes to Badri on 8 because it is big and time is enough

Very big now, I have already been there a few years ago that changed a lot
Great place for Family and children, but for newly married couples, it would big no no.
As we visited there on sunday, there was a huge rush and we had to wait more than a hour to Tulawaka Ride. Thats the only ride which drives crazy. People who have visited Wanderla in India may feel Tulawaka Ride as a very very simple and less fun ride as in Wanderla there are more Number of rides which are more entertaining and Exiting and you have both dry and water games in Wanderla. Only Ticket cost of Casela Park is around Rs.1,000 Excluding Food and drinks.
But there are other rides like lion walk (which was shut down on sunday) & Animal Safari.
On sundays it is not preferable to visit Casela Park as most of shows Like lion walk, Quad biking etc would shut down due to huge rush.
Good place to spend whole day without doing nothing.
Fantastic place with great restaurants, activities and more though the downside is the cost, its expensive but some of the activities are worth it. The staff members are super cool and I even became friends with them!
Wonderful place, you can feed farm animals, see giant tortoises, drive through big cats. Also there are giraffes, zebras, rhinos and monkeys inside.
Thousands of bird species takes place. There are restaurants and cafes inside. Also you can experience roller coaster.
Nice place to spend a day with nature and the animal world. Cleanliness in the park, the greenery and collection of variety of plants is amazing.
This is a good place to bring kinda to! Some of the animals are rare to find in Europe!
The park is very nice. There is still a short passage for strollers. The restaurants are average.
Loved the place and animals but restaurant not enough variety of food.
The activities was awesome. I went with my family. We all enjoyed our day.
Great place for family tourism: 4d cinema + hiking and photography with lions and cheetahs + safari tour + and many animals and birds
Amazing place to spend time with family, watching different types of birds, drive through Lion, rhino, zebra, deers, ostrich safari. Entry fee of MUR 850 includes basic safari and roller coaster ride.
A very normal zoo. All the animals are in an unorganized cage with a free roll coaster that is somewhat interesting
Casela is beautiful, the park the greenery, but your animals don't look like they are fed well, the look depressed. Which is not good. Please learn to spend money on their food and health, very badly kept animals they don't deserve to be kept this way, the birds don't have food they are too many kept in a small enclosure. You have made all the animals beggars by not feeding them enough, the safaris are noisy and your buses need to be oiled well, learn to maintain the wildlife and not make it a money making business, Respect the animals for they pay for your bills.
Great place to spend with family to discover the nature
It is a natural park where there are exotic animals, including lions, leopards, giraffes etc. It is the most important place on the island but honestly I didn't like it. I was there in March and it seemed like a poorly maintained center. Perhaps my bad impression is due to the fact that two months before I went to South Africa and I really saw animals of all types enjoying true freedom in the midst of nature.
This place is so bad. Not advised to visit. Only come as a last resort when you have nothing else to do in Mauritius. Staff is slow & unfriendly. Animals are scrawny and they have only a few of each species. Extremely limited food options. There s only one restaurant in it and it s prices are expensive. You even have to queue to get a table. The booths selling food and drinks are limited in options and are all frozen processed food. Be sure to try the 4d cinema & the avalanche mine which are both hidden away in some corners. The free safari is really bad and the road is bumpy throughout. Animals are usually hidden far away and it s the worst zoo/safari I have ever been to. Roads are messy, muddy on rainy days & signboards are not extremely clear. Thankfully, there are a few security Guards stationed throughout the place to ask for directions.
Great place to make a hellish day ..... exotic and common animals ... activities for all ages .... and for all tastes .... Place of dreams ...... beautiful scenery .... do not miss the safari, .... great experience and unforgettable moments, with souvenir photos that are available
...
Super nice park! For back sick and pregnant women maybe avoid driving the safari jeep :)
Some drawbacks, the cage for the monkeys is very small :(
A beautifully maintained park! Animals are not frightened for pictures. A lot of freedom and everything looks lovingly cared for.
Animals superb. However we had to wait 1 hour in the heat, no water to get on a bus that takes you to the giraffe pen. We then had to wait 30 minutes to wait for another bus to take us to the main exit. We thus spent a third of our time waiting or on buses. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
Requesting a 50% refund went on deaf ears and a manager would not have the decency to come and see me. Big thumbs down, do not waste your time and good money on this attraction.
As always Casela let itself and the paying public down with poor communication and disastrous customer service.
AVOID,
You can easily spend a whole day at Casela and explore the beauty of Nature and with a lot of fun activities.
I had a very good time here. Activities are nice and has many once in a lifetime opportunities like walking with lions. Staff is courteous
Great zoo, with a wide variety of birds, farm animals and safari animals. It is slightly in the style of Jurassic Park, with the safari ride, walk with lions and train through the wild. The lions and safari animals seem underfed though, as well as seem to be hurting each other, which is a probably a result of their tiny enclosures and lack of space to thrive... That is why I took off 2 stars...
Very less animals as compared to Bangkok safari world and had to wait a long for the busses to roam inside.
Must visit ! Specially walking with the lions .Highly recommended.
A must vissit if you are on holliday on Mauritius! We did not have that much time there so we only had time to have a fast walk arround before we went on the lion safari, the guide was great you could really tell that he had passion for his work and great knowledge of the lions. The we went to see the giraffs and went on the main safari.
We were very happy with the walking widow and quad bike.
I visited here I was keen on doing walk with lions and decided it as must have on my itinerary.
This wasn't offered in tour package so we and 4 other couples from ravenela which we met on other group tours ended up booking trip here. We were the only one to go for walk with lion. Though my wife wasnt keen on doing it i managed tontake her along with me
We started at park entrance with aviary with various colourful birds...
Then went on walk about the zipline and climbed down to small pond with various animals such as deers iguana rabbits etc.. Finally proceeded towards big cat enclosure though our time is fixed for 2 pm. Took a bus and got to last corner of zoo for a safari..
The safari area has enclosure for giraffe and feeding session were in progress. There is another bus waiting for safari which is bit away and can be missed. Safari was bumpy ride with abt 30 min duration with ostriches rhino deers.
After safari had small meal in restaurant sadly not much available for vegetarians.Had only basic chese sandwich.
Finally left for walk with lions..
There were 5 couples doing walk with us..
We were given safety briefing with dos and don'ts after signing indemnity forms we were ready to go.
We had walk with one guide 2 trainers and 2 beautiful lioness zaza and matala. While walking its important to hold the stick given in hand all the time.
They didnt appear sedated as they demonstrate quite agility jumping 3m high. Climbing trees etc. There were lot of amazing photo op and videos we managed to take.. The walk lasted 1 hr through jungle..
Also there was photographer clicking pictures and videos which we bought for 1000 mur later..
Thus was by far most awesome experience i had and i can tell you there is nothing to be afraid off and must do activity in Mauritius.
Those who dont want to do walk with lion the can do interaction with big cats such as lion tiger cubs etc. For 15 20 min duration..
Finally left in bus and reached exit through a typical souvenir shop
There is nothing special to be bought after walking with lions..
Well renovated, great place for the family to explore, nice restaurant
Walk with lions, giant Turtles, 4D show and much more.
There are nice packages available right now due to Covid. So it s a great opportunity for Mauritians! Affordable packages with great experiences!!
Especially a safari with the big cats!! Our tour guide was a very nice person, helped us get the best photos of the wild cats
Meet the keeper, apparently a new concept, was very very entertaining!! Showed us the nice bond between them and the cats, how it s all about being nice to them and not bossing them around. The keeper was cracking jokes and gave us knowledge on the cats!! Very informative, interesting, entertaining!!!
The new concept of Camel ride is also very interesting. I would highly recommend it!!
Extraordinary experience where you can approach the animals as close as possible. Give the goats the bottle, feed the giraffes and if you are tall enough and fit to walk with the lions!
Worth the money!! there s nice activities inside for both adults&children included with the tickets. But some activities are chargeable, however it s a good adventure for family
It was an open air zoo..very big..people allowed to walk along with lion..Vehicles took care of us to cover all spots..
Interaction with lions was amazing.
Safari on Segway is more fun.
Rides r fun too.
Magnificent place to visit absolutely, it feels like animal paradise ...
Great park, beautifull gardens and sorrundings. Be prepared that everything extra, cost extra. The information could have been better. But we had a Great time, Worth the visit.
In perpetual evolution and every year better and better
Park very complete. Great time to spend with family.
One of the best zoo and amusement park in the world. Has a lot of animals and birds and the lion visit is one of its specialities. One can go touch a lion and take a photograph and store that memory forever. There a plenty of tigers and lions around and a safari is worth going. The adventure side of it has Zip-lining with 6 zips which are pretty long. It was a nice experience doing that. Located in the central part of Mauritius, easily accessible from all corners of the country. Has lot of food options inside and the timings are convenient as well. Prices are reasonable. A must visit if you're traveling to Mauritius.
I went there 2 weeks ago, and it was beautiful there was a lot of great change
New rearrangement of the park is not user friendly and waste most of your time in going from one point to other walking especially the drive through is made more complex to approach then the old arrangement. New additions might be attractive but waste of time more on foot access
Nice zoo park, although I'm not a lover of captive animals I have seen well-kept and large cages, very well treated animals recommended to see lions etc.
Difficult to find your way around this park and honestly nothing good at all. Only the feline park raises the level a little. In summary expensive and nothing special
One of the best experiences of my life, petting a white lioness.
The care takers of the lions are very nice, informative and extremely funny.
I would recommend it to any one who loves big cats! Just amazing!
You have to book this adventure online before going.
You can also enjoy feeding the Giraffes, a very close encounter with such magnificent creatures.
It's not included in the entrance ticket, book online.
The safari trip is very beautiful and included in the entrance ticket.
Awesome.. I really like this place..
The safari is just woow.. *_*
Big cats are running out of space in their enclosure and poor animals are petted by the rich
Awesome adventure and thrilling activities. Had a wonderful time
