World-class zoo. In this quarantine season it offers affordable prices to assist with the whole family. The sample of bird species is very varied and very interesting. Likewise, farm animals and African cats is quite interesting. It is worth visiting this season and booking the whole day. It also has a restaurant at an affordable price: 4 people at lunch $ 2,500 rupees with alcoholic beverages considered. The attention of the staff is quite good and careful.

The main attraction of Casela Nature Park is the walk with the lions tour. This is a once in a lifetime experience where you can actually walk with the lions, stroke them and get yourself clicked with the king of the jungle.

During this tour, you will be escorted by guides who are trained and make the tour interesting with their informative anecdotes. If you are not such a brave heart, you can watch the lions from the observation posts or take a safari tour.
However it would be better if we call them in advance to see whether all activities are open.

Perfect exemplification of slaughterhouse for tourists. Forbidden to introduce your own lunch, every activity inside the park is free of charge .. too much emphasis for what in the end is only a zoo ..

Beautiful safari. We visited him on Tuesday and there were not as many people as on the weekend. No drinks or food should be taken to the park. Prices in the park eg 1l of water 80MUR, food about 200 to 500 MUR. We got their Hamburger for 260 MUR and it was great, size just right. The park is really big and is for the whole day. Best experience their safari bus , perhaps better than a 4 wheeler. You are afraid of overturning because the ride is on a muddy road. They did not take us to the zebras and you will see the hippo from a distance. Otherwise, all the antelope, but while you're here, why not look there. We haven't tried anything from the attractions. Feline really beautiful. Feeding turtles interesting, I recommend. You'll love it here.

Chaotic symbiosis of amusement and zoo - overpriced if you want to book the attractions. In addition, the park has carried out some construction work which was not well integrated. One could have shielded the view of construction pits and excavators. The "Drive Thru" tour with an entertaining guide, which brought you very close to the animals for over an hour and was strangely not overpriced, should be mentioned positively. The restaurant offers a good selection and quality which is not a given in such a park.

One of the places in Mauritius you should must visit. To start with it might look like just another adventure park but you nees to visit it to enjoy. One of the must visit places in Mauritius.
It is easily a full day outing, better to book online and save some money and time. Make sure you print your tickets else you will have to again wait for the staff to print it for you as you will need them.
We did 'Interaction with Cheetah' it was amazing!! Met, Masai and Kalahari, 2 18months old Cheetahs, the best experience we ever had. Just to be in the same enclousre with the fastest land animal on earth was enough to send chill down the spine and then just to touch them....no words can describe that feeling.
We also did zip line, it was thrilling, exciting and adventurous. If you are someone who likes extreme sport you need to try it, the last section is the best.
The pictures purchased were bit expensive but then you don't these things everyday so we end up buying all of them.
Make sure you check the combos when you purchase the tickets. We only had, entrance, zip line and cheetah interaction and more than half of the day was gone, so very important PLAN, else you might end buying the ticket where you are not able to complete all actitvities and end up paying for nothing.
And above all enjoy!

Large garden to enter at a cheap price, but there are activities at home pay per activity alone and is expensive
There is a zebin at the price of 1200 Rb multi - lengths and there is outside the park longer 1300 m better
And ride the grades at 1300 rupees and wander through the deer, ostriches and zebra for an hour
Enter the black cage and shoot with it

Wildlife park extra. Correct price but it can rise quickly if you want to do a particular activity (98 for 2 adults for entry + 2 entries for interaction with lions). Varied park (turtles, birds, safaris, monkeys). It has to be done and the interaction with the lions is a great experience.

We are not allowed to take any drinks or foods into the park. If we enter the park do not allow to go out and enter the park again. All staffs are not nice. Entrace cost is very high and additional cost in every sections
Cages are in my opinion no security in big cats areas. So Please be careful!!!

An unforgettable and incredible visit in the Mauritius Islands, highly recommended ... we have spent all day, many animals, all very well cared for, you can walk with the lions, feed the giraffes and do the safari in a park where the animals They are loose ... the visit is highly recommended, and for children it is spectacular.

Segway Safarie + Interactions with Tigers and Lions

We looked at Casela park online. Unfortunately the high ropes course was closed at the time, so we booked ourselves for a Segway safari and interactions with tigers and lions.

The entrance to the park is absolutely beautiful - great feeling - after paying you can take a bus to the starting point.

We were 2 couples on the Segway plus a jeep with photo service and guide.
After a briefing on flat ground comes a round of off-road -
At first I was a bit unsure - but you quickly get the hang of it. That day, my husband and I stood for the first time on a Segway.

We were guided into the safari area and, thanks to the Segways, were able to move outside of the large routes traveled by safari buses. This of course allowed us to get a lot closer to antelopes and co.
The highlight was the 150 year old turtle and a zebra that ran about 1 meter next to us - and even blocked our way.

TOP!!!!

This was followed by the Interactions with Tigers and Lions. That means - we were really allowed to go into the tiger and lion area.
Accompanied by a photo crew and 5-6 guides, it was an indescribable experience to stroke a tiger and a lion. The animals were very relaxed and made a good impression.

An absolute experience - however point deduction - because the price including photos was really nice !!! For both experiences, including photos and a hot dog, we left around 350 euros too far.

But I have to say honestly, for the experiences - again at any time!

Stay November 2016

Great place! Second time visiting since I didn't have time to do all the activities the first time, definitely recommend the quad bike tour! Professional, friendly service from the staff. My wife's bike had issues with stalling and restarting so they had someone come out and hot-swap with another in no time at all.

They make sure you see all the animals and the views are incredible.

It's a very nice place to spend a day in Mauritius. It's not that expensive. I think the safari ride is the best part.

I see no reason why any human beings would want to walk with a lions or a tiger. Try doing that in the wild then I would be impressed.

This is a must. Walk with lions, chill with huge tortoises, ride a thrill seeking rollacoaster amongst the mountain view. Absolutely breathtaking!

Not to mention the zip lining! Make sure you go early and book your slot as they fill up quickly. We unfortunately had to leave one member of our party to enjoy his zip line in the morning while the other floor enjoyed our stay in the afternoon!

Definitely a main attraction in Mauritius!

I went to visit this park to be in contact with nature and animals ..... fantastic .... all organized to facilitate the vision of the various species included .... both as fauna and as flora.
I recommend to all those who have family with children to visit this magical place ..... they will learn to respect nature.

Rich course in aviaries, the forest and endemic plants deserve to be more highlighted and better marked. Our 8 and 5 year olds really enjoyed being in close contact with the imaux in the pet farm. My grand loved the sledge included in the ticket. We did not have time to go on safari. Allow 4 hours of visit plus the restaurant which is very correct with a beautiful view of the turret and Tamarin.

One of the best experiences. We walked through the forest with two lionesses. And petted cheetahs. The animals grow up there and are used to the guards from an early age, special conditioning or even sedation are not necessary and do not take place.

The monkey pizza in the restaurant was delicious. Without monkey meat.

The staff throughout the park was always friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful day!

The zip line is great fun. For me it was the highlight of the park, and you can actually access it without paying the park entrance.
The quad safari was also quite fun.
Otherwise the park seems quite similar to a zoo - the wildlife is constrained in cages (except for the safari part)
