place where you can see rare animals found in other countries and animals that you always dream of seeing there
Great landscaped zoo, nice family experience even without additional bookings
Lack of signage and lack of guide.on is fast in the middle of nowhere
Casela is a very pleasant place. We also appreciated his restaurant Le Mirador. Concerns: The safari is now included in the visit:
1) we would have preferred to have the choice and that the safari remains an option, the price viste + safari was lower in 2012!
2) the safari has lost a lot in quality since the zebras and ostriches were in their pens .... the safari of 2012 crossed a natural area where the animals were not so penned! Besides, we had to take 2 buses and wait a long time!
Happy for the other better presented but very disappointed parks of the 2020 safari! It is no longer worth it!
We spent a good day in addition to visit the super guepard
I used a quad bike, but there was not much animal than I thought.
Awesome place to spend the whole day with your family
A refreshing wild life experience. The safari ride, lion interactions, landscaping of the park are magnificent
Great place... Must do walk with nature activities and adventure activities!!!
Excellent park ,The grand safari and Walking with lions and interaction with lion is extraordinary and outstanding. Many more activities are there in the park.Photos are too costly than the ticket price of 2 persons.Rolar Caster looks great but after the ride you will say it's OK not that much good.
its a big place so better to keep atleast 4-5 for the visit. Basic entry gives 'view only' access to most of animals and if one wants to have a personal visit, it needs additional tickets. There are plenty of activities here, interaction with big cats is one of the highlight, then there are rhinos, ostrich, Giant tortoises etc etc. Very helpful staff. Had a great time there. They have cafe for fastfood and they accept credit cards.
An amazing place to enjoy a real experience with all the animals. I went there with my wife, she is really fond of animals. This place really made her ecstatic. We had a walk with the lions and could get clicks sitting next to it. The zoo safari is amazing. You could see zebra, emu, rhino, elephant, tortoise and plenty other. The staff is really friendly and gives you details of the the animals as well. Although, the price is a little high if you go for a complete package but it is worth a experience.
It's a wonderful park to visit, you can spend the whole day there with a lot of things to do and see. Pity the rhino was sleeping so we couldn't see it as there's only one at the moment. The entry fee of 850 Rupees includes a whole lot of activities and a safari drive. They have so many animals to see and a beautiful bird sentuary
Good experience but very expensive for mauritian people one 0.5 coke 100 rupees
I was so close to where I stayed in the Black River area. The lions and the tigers were always tame, zebras and giraffes were very friendly and I caught beautiful squares. Of course the park is a zipline. I enjoyed it tremendously. I would not necessarily recommend who will go from Turkey. You'll never regret ...
Nice place to visit. Deserve a better organization at some points, but the park is interesting. Count 4 h to 5 h for a no rush visit. Lots of small food areas within the park, and shops as well.
Very more improved then before more verities of animals
Very expensive for what it is, the map they give you is useless and needs to be designed a lot better. Lots of things closed and they don t tell you until you ve paid your money. The only positive thing I took from today were the lions, they are such beautiful creatures.
Very nice place to go. My last visit was some years ago and I'm glad to see the improvement! Avoid school holidays though, and mainly the last day before school starts!!
I wanted to take a photo with the lions but their day off
This an outstanding zoo where animals are well looked after. We loved in particular the birds section. The staff is very helpful with showing the way as it is easy to get lost in this sprawling animal empire. The entry price seems high but is worthwhile.
Great place for animal lovers and nice thrilling outdoor activities
A fantastic place. You must not miss this place while on a holiday in Mauritius. Different kinds of animals, numbers of activities & love of nature - this is what is called Casella park.
Nice park but activities too expensive for mauritian
Awesome place to be with kids & spent fun full day..
It is very expensive to do its activities but it is very nice to visit it.
The walk with the lions ... Great, a great moment of emotion. Then a little visit to the lion cubs..Tt just brilliant. Thanks to Angel guide and breeders.
To start of, your bags are searched for food, which is then taken from you, even as you enter with kids. Then you pay a horrendous entry price. At every point, they then try to make more money, by selling extra stuff and food for the animals for horrendous prices. The ways between the attractions are very long and it is not clear how to get there, and how the busses work. The big cat interaction is simply dangerous and off-putting, can't believe such a thing is actually offered. Apart from that the areal is beautiful and offers great views, the playground is fun for kids, and the bus ride "safari" is nice, too, once you figure out how to get there. Not exactly an experience for nature lovers (at all) or anyone who wants to learn about animals or nature, rather for people looking for entertainment.
Great place to spend the day with the family. Not stroller friendly though.
Pro: generous facility; easy to understand explanatory signs
Cons: Online ticket booking did not work; expensive; no half day ticket; confusing orientation; hardly original animals; own food prohibited; many food stalls; hardly any free-roaming animals, mostly cages and enclosures; Queues at rollercoaster and "SafariBus"; over-punctual closure of roller coaster and lion enclosure
Very nice place....lion interaction is good...too costly
Did the zip line pa packages. Lots to do on a lot of options. Nice staff who really help you.
Must see! Book in advance through website. Takes a whole day. Their safari bus ride is unnecessarily broken into two so be prepared to stand in bus line two times.
Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I came to casela yesterday. And frankly it will be necessary to review the prices of your activities. Too too expensive .. Especially since you charge children under 4! While the child sits on the parents ... I arrived at 9:30 am and left at 11:30 am If I had stayed until 3:00 pm, bein ti pou broke net sa! Really overpriced!
A great place to spend your day with your loved ones, you can see birds and animals in their natural habitat, they do have restaurants in the park which have amazing food options, i visited with my family and enjoyed for the whole day 6 star to it, I would love to visit Casela every time i come to Mauritius
Only operational Zoo/Bird park in Mauritius. Number of birds are declining but new animals like Rhino and Hippo are compensating.. Activities like Tulawaka, Quad Bike are all interesting but costly. At time of my visit Quad bike were not available... Personnel attitude was not the best except for a few who were ready to help.
Got to pet tortoises and feed giraffes. You can even touch lions. Amazing fun.
On of the best places you should visit in the island. Nice restaurant and activities for all Family. Kids friendly and a path for strollers makes this place great to spend the day .
One of the best parc to spend your day with animals and do different activities.
Best place to do zip lining and ride quad bikes in Mauritius
Can still improve, some of the anomal looks in bad shapes
Great Park. But needs some improvement in walkways. Not very much stroller friendly. Also, some more sign boards will help. Otherwise all is great. A must visit for Mauritius trip.
A magic place ... I recommend you close your eyes ... family safari ride and many other activities offered on the site.
Excellent place to spend with the family. Definitely a whole day is needed to enjoy at least half of the activities that is on offer there. Really enjoyed the camel ride, to the quad biking and zip lining. Action packed and recommended to all ages. Will definitely be back!!
We only visited the zoo. The facility looks ok, but the animals don't seem to be doing as well as in Le Vanille Park. Visiting just for the park is not worth the view, 850 MRU per person. Feeding giraffes and ostriches up close is nice, but costs an extra 300 MUR per person. Everything else costs just as much, sometimes terrifying as much.
Fun fun fun!
Waiting for activities could be long during weekend and school holidays.
Absolutely amazing. Tobogan and Tulawaka was great. Had an amazing time
Hello animal park with attractions for young and old a restaurant, for entry to the park for me the basic formula at 800 rupees these good especially if you have children
This what we call nature park and animal savers.(mauritian nou)
Well maintained and perfect for nature lovers. Excellent 4D cinema experience.
Walk in the company of the lion, the cheetah, the tiger, the zebra and many other wild animals
I really liked the zoo, I would go again. We must go in the morning for the whole day. Then you just have time to see everything. There are places for a snack, as well as a restaurant. Everyone will like this place
have a very good day beating against the activates very expensive so that he wants adrenaline made the tirolienne from mountain to mountain these flows especially upside down and very very cool animator
Great interaction with wildlife! Better than most zoos!
