The Big Cat area is the most fun. You can also play with lions and caracals. Caracal is the size of a slightly larger cat, so it looks like a cat. The lion is also a lion, and playing with Karakal was the most fun.

Great place
A great and friendly team especially those who make us touch the lions I will come back with pleasure

Beautiful park for the majority, but the space "Big Cats" (felines) frankly disgusted us. They are very numerous in cages with space unsuitable for animals of this kind. A serval is even cloistered in a cage where it does not even have the space to take 3 steps. But otherwise we enjoyed the safari in the middle of zebras and ostriches, which they have the necessary place

Really nothing exceptional in the park with a staff organization more than pitiful, endless expectations concerning safaris that it was those camels that I had to be reimbursed for lack of staff of course, those in the shuttle or even those for quads where I was made to wait an hour for the final announced to all my family that this service was complete ..
To add also a crucial lack of hospitality, what is the point of paying the entrance if only to feel uncomfortable with each look exchanged with a salesgirl or even a simple agent circulating in the park.

Good

Amazing place to visit when you are going to Mauritius to spend the day or even two. Very nice park, great staff. Had an amazing time, we will definitely visit this park in the future when we will be visiting Mauritius again!!

One of the best experiences in Mauritius, Casela wildlife adventure park is something one should not miss out during one's visit to Mauritius. There are safari rides, zoological parks, and the best of all the big cats interaction (checkout the Lion interaction photos shared by me). There are a number of different interactions like Lion, Caracal and Cheetah which are charged separately. There are tons of peacocks roaming around in the public area and are fun to play with. One needs to reserve at least half of the day to have a good experience.

Absolutely phenomenal. Loved every minute of it. Only Rs 700 for entrance which includes most of the attractions on offer. We did however pay a very reasonable Rs 1000 pp for an interaction which 3 lion and 1 tiger cubs - needless to say this was an unbelievably amazing experience - all the Cubs were very playful, showing absolutely no signs of sedation. They were in superb condition and the trainers were all very polite and it was clear to see they cared for the animals and had formed a bond. They were also very informative. The larger cats were also very active and their surroundings were excellent. The giant tortoises were also amazing - even managed to gently touch their shells! The drive through safari was definitely worth a visit also. The petting zoo was also very enjoyable, again the animals were in excellent condition with very comfortable and spacious surroundings. All round fantastic experience, more than worth the money. Just a small piece of advice, take sensible shoes simply because when getting so close to the animals, understandably it can be pretty muddy. Even then, I was in my element!

A fun day out though you need more than one day to do everything. If you want to do the canyon swing (1hr), zip line (2hrs) plus all other attractions such was safari tour, you need to get there as early as possible.

The big negative point of this zoo is the lack of respect for animals. It is incomprehensible, in our time and with the money generated by such a place, that vehicles are not electric on the entire surface of the park. The animals live with the noise of quads, trucks and are subjected all day to petrol fumes. the height is when a 150 year old turtle loaded the quad our guide, who laughed but I understood the message of the turtle: clear with your pollution and your noise!
Already that I had a problem with animal parks!
It would be better to transform this park into an amusement park altogether and leave the animals alone.
Mauritius has nothing to gain with this genre in showing this image of it.
People came for the natural side but in Casela, we are on the edge, too bad.
It is high time, gentlemen shareholders of Casela, to put in money for the welfare of animals, less people, stress, noise and gasoline fumes.
A little humanity and empathy with animals, please.
This is a message from the turtle

Great place to spend a day, although arrive early to avoid missing out, as the activities are quite structured and you need to book the best ones in advance. Would highly recommend the quad biking; Ari was a fantastic guide and showed us so much, really was a highlight of our time in Mauritius.

They charge separately for all good activities even after charging a high entrance fee.
They should remove entrance fee if they want to continue charging separately for activities like animal interaction ,quad biking ,bus safari etc.

Amazing experience. Sign boards for direction to Tulawaka missing. Explanation and detail about animal and bird species missing in several spots. Guides should know more about origins, species/sub species (e.g. there are two sub species of Giraffe in the park, where they come from, their age etc) and other specificities of animals. Only half of the birds in the aviary are on the explanation boards. Details about the packs, fast track etc are not so clear.

Beautiful parc in the centre of Mauritius. Unfortunately like many other touristic attractions not reachable with public transport. Many animal and vegetal species and a lot of attention on the conservation of the real environment.
Nice the rollercoaster and the restaurant.
Negative point the "big cats" area. Cages are really tiny inadequate to lions and ghepards. Visitors should take the risk not to be able to see them, at the benefit of a larger area dedicated to animals. Space is not missing at the parc. Not to be advised the interactions activities with lions and other felins. Stressful for them and dangerous for tourists.

A visit to Casela is a must if one is traveling to mauritius. It's a very well maintained zoo, national park and bird sanctuary. Try out lion interaction, walk with lion, feeding giraffe and many other activities which the park offers. You will need an entire day to see the park fully. The staff are good and friendly, the animals are well fed and maintained. Best place to take kids who will like the petting zoo and the 7d cinema.

Beautiful park, clean, and people really very friendly and nice.
Bug up for the interaction with the felines (lion + guepard), very impressive, beautiful moment, and a team at the top, Bob marley, the other person with dread who also safari lion and others. Really a nice team.

Beautiful park, to do, count a day with the activities.

Photo received quickly.

Small flat, waiting for buses for the safari, they should indicate the weather.

Otherwise I really recommend.

Beyond my expectation, had interaction with baby lions & other stuffs, but my favorite of all is the full day zip lines.. Can't wait to experience the rest. The 5 stars is not for the photographer...Was quite disappointed with the photos - As a photographer I honestly think that our photographer for the full day zip lines could have made much better photos. (But he is a nice guy)

Another great day out for the kids, we spent the whole day there and the kids didn't get bored at all. So many animals, great interaction and the rides are fun. The safari was a bit bumpy due to the rain but we got to see a good selection of animals. Definitely worth a visit.

Many caged animals it hurts the heart

Many caged animals it hurts the heart
Not as many animals to see if the site shows
The beautiful quad ride except that no tans his animals to see in this trip

A basic amusement park/ zoo. For families with kids a great visit but otherwise not so much interesting. Thrill mountain on the other hand is fun to do! For couples I would advise to skip the park and Safari and just go to thrill mountain.

Just wow
