Attended two seminars in the last year and also played golf there recently. Lovely facilities on both fronts. Have not yet used hotel itself.

Was ok. Not wort the hope. Pool not in great repair rust every were. Not very clean

A wonderful place for a walk, a coffee, or a meal. And of course, for golf.

Gorgeous hotel and grounds. Can be a bit manic though.

Excellent facilities and excellent staff. Very welcoming as soon as we arrived in a large group of 120 people. They were very quick in getting everyone to their rooms. The food served was very nice and plenty of it too.

Carton House is an old mansion in the style of a local palace near Maynooth (6km). The place is very nice with gardens and a large place to walk, run and pedal beyond the golf courses. The Carton House is the hotel offers great restaurants and a beautiful art gallery.

A beautiful place with great historic information. A wonderful place to walk around. No a la carte breakfast...only buffet.

I was looking forward for my get away at the carton house, I had a nice day playing golf and had a relaxing evening in the spa. But. unfortunately I came back to my room and to my surprise my bags had been rummaged through, My laptop and a few other possessions were gone. I went straight to the staff and my problem was dealt with the duty manager Steven. He was not friendly and came off obnoxious and rude he said I must of left my door unlocked which was not true I asked for a refund for the room as I did not feel safe. Don t stay

Lovely food and warm friendly staff. Service can be little slow at the weekend but overall good.

Most fabulous place to stay. Absolute quality from the second you drive in the gate. Quiet but friendly atmosphere. Fabulous staff. Great food. Worth every penny to stay here.

Really nice hotel, but I did not stay here. I was there for a business meeting for several days in their conference rooms. Staff was really kind. They really catered to our group and were really helpful.

Went for a walk around the grounds, beautiful scenery, and very relaxing.

Excellent stay. Service excellent. All the staff where so friendly. Dinner was delicious as the breakfast. Sorry to leave. Would definitely be back

Playing a golf open but could not get a drink because the "did not open till 12"

Took a stroll around the grounds, lovely features such as the tower and the boat house to be seen. Grounds are kept very well, very neat

The best spa experience that I've ever had. CJ gave me the most amazing facial, she is a true pro! A wonderful and relaxing experience, I'd highly recommend.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The view outside is gorgeous everywhere you look. The event rooms in the the older side are extremely beautiful with gorgeous details and decoration. The room was great, the food was delicious, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend for company events and weddings or simply a short visit with your partner or family.

Have been at this hotel many times and it's always great!!! The staff are great as well as the facilities like the health club with a great gym and pool. The food there is also very tasty even if your just popping in for some lunch or dinner.

A solid 4 star hotel with grounds to golf, play tennis, spa, etc

One star for gardens and Original Carton House. If you have to visit eat before you go.

The aristrocratic Lennox family brought me here to stay. The staff was warm and helpful. The rooms were clean, bright, and spacious. The grounds were stunning to behold. The restaurants within the hotel all offered delicious options. The golf club within the grounds did detract from the stay for me. I am not a golfer and feel like it takes something away from the history of the estate. However, I did enjoy my stay and would recommend this place to others.

A five star hotel in a superb estate comprising of two championship golf courses, and ancillary golf services along with tennis and football facilities. It also has facilities for Rugby and other sports. Alongside the hotel and stately house, it has spa and leisure centres. The estate also boasts a wild brown river and a fine lake which provides excellent brown trout, big pike and coarse fishing along with quality guided service. Beautiful parklands and walks compliment a most gracious estate. Finally fine food is provided in the Hotel and golf club.

Stayed here for a night with my husband for a little staycation last weekend. The recently renovated rooms are beautiful, clean and very good size. The bed & pillow are comfortable too.

Staff were all friendly from reception, room service to dining in Linden Tree (breakfast).

I really enjoyed our dinner at The Carriage House. Delicious food and really well presented. Highly recommend eating here! I had a very tasty Chicken & Mango Salad with a side of sweet potato fries for main. So good that I forgot to snap a picture first!

2 great golf courses, hotel gym etc on a huge estate, vast location.

Luxury wouldn't even cover it. Place is fab, staff couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended for people who need wheelchair accessible rooms. So much to do. New favourite spot, will be back
