Worst hospital visit of my life. They treated my wife more like livestock than a human being. I'm just glad she survived the ordeal. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to visit this dump. EDIT: We decided to give the hospital a second chance and returned for outpatient surgery. The staff truly was phenomenal with my wife and comforting with the loss of our baby. It was truly a totally different experience from our ER visit the first time. So I will upgrade to 3 stars. Never thought I'd say that.

wrinkle3- February 22nd 2012....We took my dad into the emergency room at approx. 7:50pm tonight. He is 75 years old and has been too weak to stand today, he has a fever of 101 degrees and is having shortness of breath. We waited in the regular waiting area for 2 hours and he was beginning to feel much worse so we went to the entrance nurse and ask if he could lie down somewhere. We were told there were no beds available. At approx 10 pm he was taken to another waiting area where only one family member could go with him so my sister and I came home. It is now 12:30 am, nearly 5 hours after we arrived so I called to check on him and was told he is still in the 2nd waiting area, still waiting to be seen by a doctor. I find this unacceptable and ridiculous! I asked the emergency room personal that I spoke with if someone could check on him and let me know how he is doing and she rudely told me that there were no phones in the 2nd waiting area and I should call back when he is in an emergency room with a doctor, but...they had no idea when that might be. I agree with alex202 below me, this hospital is a disgrace! The city of Gastonia should have more to offer their citizens than this. I'm wondering how much it cost them to get the 3 overall rating you see when you look them up... My rating for them is minus 10! I remember several years ago they were sued for letting a man bleed to death in the emergency waiting room. This will be our last visit there, Lincolnton has a new and perfectly good hospital just up the road.

First time here, never coming back! I m 5weeks Pregnant and I come in because I m having abdomen pain. It took them 1hour and 30 mins just to get blood work from me and now I ve been here for over 2 hours!!! Going on 3 hours!!!! And I haven t been seen. I should have went to Novant Main in Charlotte. This experience is just terrible and I will never come here again. The nurses in the ER are talking it up laughing and giggling instead of working, using the hospital phones to make personal calls. I went to ask how much longer it will be and she said she doesn t know. I regret coming here. I know ER s get busy but I ve never in any hospital I ve been too wheither it s Novant, CMC, or Presbyterian EVER waited this long to be seen. Can t even imagine how they treat other pregnant women in my situation. It s sad.

The Birth Place was a very pleasant experience and I love the TLC that they provide. The ER department is the worst that I've seen period! It's as if they only employ the reject doctors/NP. I do not know why I waste my time and energy going there, when it's the same bad customer service. Like how do you call yourself diagnosing someone for a condition which clearly calls for a Ct scan and then discharge them, without any tests and in the same pain in which they came. Why do I as a patient have to tell you how you should treat my condition as a doctor...that's your job! But I'm supposed to pay the bill, when you send it.. Hahaha..A big joke! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS ER IF YOU CAN! Save yourself some pain and time..Its not worth it!!

I was admitted on Dec 16th thru Dec 21st. My room that I stayed in was 6260 . My stay there was not so quite and I did not rest from hearing music and talking of people during my stay the whole time. The music and loudness of talking and being very loud was coming from the room over the head of my bed.I just thought the room had company at the times during the day.The noise was so bad at night especially if my floor was not busy,So I would tell the nurses every morning that I did not sleep well from the noise beside me.I even ask several times if they had company and several nurses said they would check it out.So it never stopped during my whole stay,So I decided to take a walk outside my room and check that room .Well behold it is the nurses station and they go in that room every chance that they got and sit in there talking loud and playing music every chance that they got banging chairs or whatever around. On the night of the 19th was the worse the night that the floor was slow and I complained to the nurse and nothing was done .There is one Nurse that stood out to me and she was the best .She is a traveling nurse and her name was Gerunda. Also had a male traveling nurse for one night with no personality.I found that most techs were not happy .So if you are ever admitted to the Hospital for a stay make sure you are not beside a nurse station .

Nope after being frustrated and my son being sick we went to gaston memorial they immediately took him back and did alot of testing and turned out he had a bad bladder infection and had to stay for 3 days. There was one nurse specifically his name was David he is in the pediatric department I wanna thank you sir for everything. Thank you all for taking care of my son!

Told me all different kinds of times for when I'd get my Covid test results back. Tried to call and get some answers and the lady in the line told me to just come back in for another appointment. I know plenty of people who have gotten tests results back in less than 24 hours and it's been THREE days. They will smile and act nice in front of your face but then once you're gone it's like you dont matter anymore because they dont have to treat you. I've called multiple times and constantly recieve different feedback. Step up your game Caromont. Sad to think a hospital, a place we should find comfort and hope in is a less than 3 star facility.

Visited today or attempted to for asthma problems, and severe chest pains since my doctor wouldn t see me. This quack of a hospital put me in the waiting room despite my chest pains and told me the chest pain protocol depended on my age. I didn t know the protocol was leaving someone in the waiting room for 6 hours with the beginning of an asthma attack. The staff here is also rude and snappy so I snapped back when I finally decided to throw my bracelet at them and walked out. Will be visiting Kings Mountain for now on where they actually take an asthma problem seriously.

Came to ER with spouse during early evening. Vitals checked multiple times....thank god the last time the nurse doing vitals was concerned over his high BP reading to get him back to a room. Attending physician that saw him made no comment about the high readings and seemed more concerned with whether or not spouse could raise his shoulders. (This was AFTER spouse discussed his heart attack 18 months prior). And also....had to love watching nurses, aides, and attending physicians discuss the proper way to do a squat....with the front waiting area filled with people waiting several hours. SMH.

Went in for depression and wow... Heartless staff and they put you in a place called "The suite" wich is a cruel joke at best...You wait for 9 or so hours in a dark dim room with 3 chairs with a staff that do nothing but talk about how much they hate their jobs and talk about other patients like dirt... No compassion. They also treat you like a criminal. You would be better off anywhere else.

My mother died there on Dec. 20, 2015. I'm not (yet) blaming her death on the hospital, but tell me this: What kind of hospital doesn't allow a doctor that works on, loses a patient, and calls the time of death to SIGN THE DEATH CERTIFICATE?? Seems shady to me, at the least.

I really wish you could do a negative rating. so, my dad has surgery last night to remove his little toe due to diabetes. he goes into surgery around 5:20 p.m., my family and i go to surgery waiting and check in and sit down. Lady at desk lets us know that she is covering breaks and leaves at 6:30 but that she would give recovery the number to where we are sitting. A little after 8, my sister-in -law finds a number to call because we have not heard a word how it is going. Someone finally calls us back and informs us that my dad has been back in his room since 6:30. At this point i am furious. Get to my dad's room and he tells us that he had inquired where his family was. i immediately asked for a patient Rep. to come and speak with me. Once the Rep got there, her belittling attitude set me off even more. Gastonia would be better off without a hospital like this. Service at this facility has definitely gone down the tube over the years. Very dissatisfied with how they relay information to family of patients.

I was having severe chest pains that lasted all day. Went to ER last yesterday at 4:15pm. Was there for 7 hours, finally leaving at 11:15pm. I was NEVER seen by a doctor, along with several other patients who were waiting just as long. We all ended up leaving. None of the nurses gave a damn. Worst possible service. I will be going out of my way to avoid this hospital on the future. HORRIBLE!

All of the doctors, nurses and hospital staff were fantastic during my visit last week. When you don t expect to be hospitalized for a week, they find a way to make you feel right at home. The meal staff was also fantastic and the food was delicious. This hospital has definitely turned a new leaf over the years.

If I could give this place a zero I so would! My m...

If I could give this place a zero I so would! My mom went in this hospital in May 2018 for stomache ulcers. Almost two weeks of being in there without much communication between one set of doctors and her and her family! She threw a blood clot which it went down instead of up! Blocked the main artery in her leg which she laid for almost 10 or more hours before a nurse on the sixth floor of this lovely establishment noticed!! And here is a hint she was in an adult diaper so did they not change her all night long????? Because if they did they should have noticed like the morning nurse did that her leg was cold cause after 4 hours with no blood flow it starts to die! So after that before they had to amputate her leg they put her into critical care two critical care nurses hung the wrong medications! So now we have neglect and giving the wrong ( very serious) bags of medication ! So to recap my mom walked into this hospital but was not able to walk out! Was living on her own now she has to live with my sister! I would not trust this place with my dog!

Worst ER I have ever been to. Uncaring staff, long waits (I have so far waited 6 hrs) if you're in pain, make sure you take something b4 you come. They just took my blood pressure again and it was 174/143, asked if my pain level was still 10 and told me to go back out and wait.

Well went to ER there a month ago. Nurses in ER very rude and in my mind acted criminally by ignoring my needs for treatment. ALSO JUST GOT A LETTER FROM MY INSURANCE company and CAROMONT conducted and BILLED me nearly $6,000 in non approved testing. INSURANCE instructed me not to pay those charges as ER DOCTORS ordered them not for medical reasons but apparently because I had insurance. I told nurse I had to pee, which I couldnt leave far from the bed because of being hooked up to equipment, and was brought a vomit pan which I filled and then some. I asked fro another container able to hold urine and the nurse brought it to me and tossed it at me on the bed and asked me did that meet my high standards. I said its a pee jug not a birthday cake. The dr was unprofessional to the point I told him I would take out my own IV so we could talk man to man face to face and he left and sent in another dr who was reasonable and fair. If you have MEDICARE or MEDICAID you need to check your bill closely I was billed with insurance about $6,000 for unusual tests that were not required or acceptable. They have been sued several times with jury verdicts of over 6 and 7 figures. I can only imagine how they are not taken over by the state. OVER BILLING to reduce profits on paper in order to produce lower profits on FINANCIAL statements seems criminal to me.EDIT: the criminal part in my mind in addition to other behavior is the fact nurses ignored cleaning and bandaging clear and obvious wounds I had. Im still hoping I dont get an infection or corona virus from this malpractice by trained, certified and so called professional NURSES and DOCTORS

Came here from work due to a soreness in my chest (8:30 a.m.) and still haven't been seen by a doctor yet (12:15 p.m.). Almost 4 hours here and only EKG and vitals taken. Do they only have 3 doctors working here? Why do we, as patients, have to wait hours before actually being seen by someone? Rediculous service and terrible respect to patients!

Would have really liked if I could leave a better score and comment but I can't. The only reason I give 2 stars is because of the ER and overall cleanliness. The ER was efficient and got us in a room in adequate time. It was after arriving in the room that all communication stopped. Even after being told no food or water, no one knows when the doctor will be here to discuss the issue and it is going on 19 hours. I understand that some stuff is out of the floor nurse's control but the overall communication between patient and doctor needs to be addressed .

My son went into the ER tonight for mental health issues! He was just discharged from a behavior center, and they were uncaring. The nurse called him a quality inn patient. Made him feel worse then he did when he walked in. They discharged him, and as he was leaving, the doctor said, call 911 if You become suicidal. Very inappropriate thing to say, the er needs to be retrained on how to treat people!!!

I am only giving one star here because I'm forced ...

I am only giving one star here because I'm forced to in order to write a review. Several months ago, I was in the ER with one of my (minor) children. This has been one of the worst experiences in my whole life. In addition to dealing with being scared and concerned for my child, I was treated horribly! I was asked to wait in the waiting area (but given no reason why) during my child's treatment, leaving my child all alone. I tried several times over the course of the 10 hours I was in the waiting area to see my child. I was denied access to my child each time. I also repeatedly asked for updates on my child's condition and lab results, as well as to have a doctor come out to speak with me, my husband, or my mother. I was only told that my child was "fine" very rudely. No doctor ever came out to talk to me, even though I asked multiple times and the ER was not particularly busy that night (I was one of two people in the waiting area). At some point my child was moved to pediatrics, but I was not notified even though I had spent the night in the waiting room and repeatedly asked to be updated about said child's condition, so they were well aware I was there. Was finally called on my cell phone by a nurse in pediatrics 10 hours after we brought my child in to let me know they had admitted my child. She seemed surprised to find out I was sitting in the ER waiting area and had been there all night! it took me over 2 days of speaking to various doctors and nurses to get any information at all on tests performed in the ER amd the results of those tests. I received no paperwork informing me about any of those tests or the results, and signed no release forms for those tests to be performed. I also had multiple other issues during my child's stay in the hospital... too many to list here. Upon my child's release we were given a discharge sheet listing diagnoses that were never discussed with my husband or myself during my child's stay or prior to discharge. Following discharge, I contacted a patient advocate at the hospital to make a complaint. He took down my information and I was told he'd write a report and someone from the director's office would be in contact with me in 1-3 days. That was on 8/3/2017. It's now October and I haven't heard from anyone. The whole experience here from ER, to hospital stay, to discharge, to "patient advocate" has been a nightmare. This hospital obviously doesn't care about the patient or their family. If we have a choice, we will not return.

I've been here a few times and let me just speak about the ER. It's disgusting every time. The nurses are hit or miss. The doctors are either there for a pay check or actually do care (9/10 it's the prior). This is just a hospital where you're seen as a paycheck, plain and simple. They don't care about what happens after, just how fast they can get you out and get the bed ready for the next bag of mone...I mean patient. I waited 10 hours to be seen by a doctor at the ER the other day and I never saw the place get cleaned, nurses were more into their conversations than people, and honestly what felt like a smidge of racism towards black people at the way they were talked to. Honestly, can't recommend them, but you can't be picky about an ER during an emergency, and they know that, which is why they haven't and will never improve for the better.

I mean, they got the job done but my god. They sure took their sweet time. I understand that a broken ankle probably isn't the top priority for doctors at the ER but come on, 2 hours to actually attend us was way too long! They didn't give us any follow up papers and we literally had to do everything ourselves to schedule an appointment for a surgery. Christ.

Waited in the emergency room for 12 hours.. I asked why they did not have common sense and display a sign notifying patients how long the wait would be? I was told it was against the law. Well that law needs to be changed. The doctor asked me if I had been drinking because I fell and broke my face, I don't drink. I realize it is standard procedure to find out if someone is intoxicated but he kept pushing the issue," Well most normal people don't just fall down" I felt like I was at a police station being grilled not at a hospital. I realize the staff have an over whelming stressful jobs but this does not entitle them to be rude and complain. One staff member told me she was wrote up because of poor job performance and would I write and tell management what a good job she was doing. How pathetic and unprofessional. One staff member told me my face was not broke and just go home and take Tylenol. My face was x rayed and one broke bone penetrated my nasal cavity. I was diagnosed with low blood pressure issues that is why I fell not due to alcohol. I would not take my dog to this place.

if i could give negative 5 stars i would this is the worst hospital ever. not only do they provide sub par service but they are just a greedy bunch of rude, lazy jerks. they charge out the nose for services. i have been going around in circles with these rude greedy people for months now trying to resolve an insurance billing issue that THEY screwed up and waited too long to bill my insurance on and when my insurance told them they were outside the time frame to file and that insurance was not liable and neither was I, they tried to tell my insurance that I did not provide my insurance info in a timely manner! I provided my insurance card at the time my pediatrician drew my daughter's blood, its not my fault the insurance info never made it to the hospital lab where it was processed. it's funny that I didn't provide my insurance info in a timely manner because the pediatrician who drew the blood and sent it to the hospital lab was paid by insurance and insurance has the claim for that day. I was later told my insurance info didn't make it to hospital due to an update in the computer system....so I have to pay for the mistakes of these lazy incompetent fools. they made a mistake but still want their money. so glad we have moved from Gaston county and no longer have to use this excuse for a medical system. CAROMONT IS TERRIBLE. i wish they would get shut down

First of all I have been a nurse for 20 years and I wouldn t even give them one star. My mother was her at this facility for 6 weeks. She had colon surgery and they let her get a stage 3 pressure ulcer. We requested no briefs be they kept putting them on her. You push call bell and no one shows up and you have to go looking for them. They leave nasty wash cloths in bathroom and do not clean floors or toilet. The toilet had stool left on it for days on end. Nusrses changing IV bags not using gloves and not foaming in and out. This is by far the nasties place I ve ever seen. They need foam police at this hospital. If you want MRSA or Cdiff come to this hospital. They never check on patients unless you go hunt them. Where they are suppose to be someone check every hour. This place needs trackers for nursing staff. The nurses would come in and see patient had used the bathroom and go hunt CNA to clean them. Wow no team work. Don t go here if you get sick!

A patient ( a woman of color) was admitted to CaroMont Regional Medical Center on 8/15/2020,underwent a surgical procedure at the aforementioned facility on 8/20/2020. The patient's PCP gave orders for specific pain medication to be administered due to an allergic reaction to another. The medication that was removed by her PCP is being offered by the on call doctor who refuses to see the patient face to face. The last administered dose of pain medication was at 4PM on 8/21/2020. The patient's BP was repeatedly within stroke range(212/128). The floor nurses checked the machinery before sending in another person of color to check the patient's BP. The patient at this point was offered the medication she is allergic to, being cognizant the patient refused. The patient asked for patient representative to speak to. She was given two phone numbers and told noone would be available until 8AM of 8/22/2020. The patient then asked to speak to the on call doctor. The patient was told they couldn't speak to her. The patient then felt unsafe receiving medical treatment from the facility and asked for a waiver to leave. The on call doctor immediately agreed, but continued to refuse to see the patient. The patient requested the doctor's name, the facility refused the request. Staff present throughout the stated incident were two nurses Angelica and Nicole, one medical tech Marcus. The on call doctor and charge nurse currently refuse to interact with the patient and the other staff will not identify them by name. Staff also refuses to identify the director and chief of staff upon patient requests

Our week long experience in May 2016 was the best over all from other hospitals in our experience. The personnel; housekeeping, techs, food service, nurses, hospitalists, transport team were all friendly, caring, and helpful. The campus is beautifully kept and landscaped, buildings clean and aesthetically appealing, parking more than adequate.
The only negative was our experience in ED. Personnel that checked us in were disrespectful and less than caring. The only bright spot there was one female nurse.

Absolute WORST past month of my family's lives with my mother being there. went in for a simple surgery (stints) was only a 2 chance of it going wrong, and what are the odds. He tore a vessel. And it has been down hill since. She had a heart attack 2weeks later. Went back there and they told us she wasn't going to make it to take her off life support. Yet we moved her to CMC MAIN and she is improving even more everyday. I wouldn't take my dog to this hospital!

Rude staff! I was calling this facility from another physician office about a patient that may have COVID and needing testing. The receptionist did not let me finish speaking before she transferred me to the wrong department and the lady that answered in that department was rude as well and unprofessional . I did not send our patient there, instead I advised patient to go to another facility where they will get better service.

I have low blood pressure. Always have, always will. Doctor wanted to keep me overnight & pump MORE fluids in me (already had THREE bags) to make my blood pressure go up, which it WON'T & to "monitor my blood pressure". NOW, I'm being REFUSED pain medication bc I won't stay for ANOTHER $5000 hospital bill which won't change my BLOOD PRESSURE! Way to CARE about YOUR patients Caromont Regional Medical Center!

Worst hospital I've ever been to. I had a cut that was only the top layer of skin, no muscle or tendon damage, the doctor proceeded to put in staples l. She had staples in the wound beside the wound and twisted up a few trying to redo them, no after care instructions were given. Ended up being infected and getting removed finally at Lincolnton. They don't care about the patient or the treatment. DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE!!
You're better off at a veterinarian.

The ambulance took my husband here due to a severe slash in his arm. He was treated with such disrespect as well as I . The IV kept coming out and a nurse told the other nurse to get my husband a mop so he could clean up his mess! They supplied him with no instructions on care for the wound and no supplys to take care of it at home. So dissatisfying

Hated my experience at this hospital, I came in with chronic chest pain and hard coughing wheezing, been going on for more than 5days. They tell me something so simple that was the reason! Didn t really listen to me, then after being brought by ambulance and needed to get back to my car, the nurse tells me oh it s not a far walk! You-can walk to your car ! Really after getting 3 breathing treatment and etc.. terrible customer service. So sad!!

Had a really great visit. Post lumbar spinal headache. Saw an Oteopath who was very thorough. Staff was great. Not too outrageous of a wait. Only major complaint is that hospital could not do procedure due to no Neurosugeon not being available to do post spinal tap blood patch- pretty routine procedure. Wish I had gone to a larger hospital. Otherwise, no complaints.

My daughter would be in hospital for several days; I had 4 choices. Despite having read the negative reviews, I chose this one as it was closer to home and I had a positive, trusted personal recommendation. This was absolutely the right place! From the admissions staff, to the nurses and Doctors who would care for her, my daughter and our family were treated with respect by smiling and caring professionals. I met NOT ONE person on staff who projected anything but a positive , caring and competent attitude. I would like to mention them all, but thank you Kevin, Fred, Debbie, Sharon and all of the other exceptional people who take on extraordinary challenges each day to see to it that a tough job is done well without forgetting that this is not our normal. Hospital is scary anyway; each of you and all of you made a difference for us this week... Thank you.

On Jan of last year I attended the ER with an abdominal pain, they admitted me and two days later I had an open exploratory surgery that fixed a hernia but did not fixed the actual symptoms I was having. I received 28 stitches(staples) in my abdomen, and they have me on pain killers, but the next morning after the surgery a doctor that was on duty came to ask me if I was ready to go home. The bad thing about this, is that he came to ask in a tone as if I was there just occupying a bed with nothing wrong with me, disregarding entirely my pain. I told him no, besides, is not up to you to discharge me, the surgeon have to come and see me and then decide if I am to go home, in the afternoon the surgeon came, and told me that I was to stay until I was able to eat and go to the bathroom, however, later in the evening when I did manage to pass some gas, a nurse came and say that the doctor had said that I could go home, I thought she meant the surgeon, well I agreed, and when i had signed the release, I notice that they were sending me home with no pain medication, supposedly because I had to get my pain med from the pain clinic, that was closed already as it was night time, and would not open again till Monday, as it was Friday... so they expected to go home, in pain for the entire weekend, that is when I found out that the doctor releasing me, was the same doctor from the morning, not the surgeon, and after I refused to leave without pain med, they had to call the surgeon office to get me a prescription because this other doctor, was not even qualified to write a pain medication script. It was frustrating, at first they told me to just go back to the er to be readmitted because I had already signed the release... it was a very ugly and difficult situation, I called patients relations and they came and fix the whole mess with a hundred apologies, they even called home the next day to see how I was doing, but no matter how many apologies, what they did, was wrong, and it wont change how I felt. You dont go cutting open a dog and much less a person, to just want to send home without some sort of help for the pain.

I m only giving a two star because the nurses are nice. However this hospital has went down hill. Used to be the best. I am very disappointed. I never give a bad review, however by doing so I hope they can get their act together here. My uncle who is handicap was neglected here. Has a huge sore on his face in which I am still waiting on them to put something on it. We are discharged today! I am thankful for that! Definitely a ton of balls dropped here and sadly the patient pays for it. This hospital can do better. Whomever is in charge here over all, needs to read these reviews and get this hospital together. Highly disappointed and disgusted!

If there were a zero rating, I would rate it that. The only thing that deserves this star is the nice waiting room where you can live out the rest of your life in. You have to wait 5-7 hours for the staff to take you back to diagnose your illness. They don t even have enough rooms to put you in either. I would rather go to a Chinese backlot Doctor to diagnose my problems than this place. At least that s faster and waiting in emergency room limbo.

This hospital is horrible. The wait time is horrible and the staff are just non chalant about everything. I promise to never go back here if I didn t have too. I was discharged and ask for a wheel chair because I could barely walk and one of the nurses said it will be a while because I have to go draw some blood as of there isn t anyone else who can go to the front and get a wheel chair.. horrible service just horrible

Only reason I gave a star was because I had to. I wouldn t bring my dead dog to this place. My mom went in better than she left. She had bronchitis and went to a rehab on her death bed. The doctor, Dr Ambati, took her off of Paxil without weaning her off. When I questioned her about it, she said the dosage was too low to give her withdrawal symptoms. It almost killed her and she s still suffering. They take 20-30 min to respond to your bell. If your elderly and go there, think twice; it s Heavens Waiting Room!

My husband and I were on a vacation to my mother in laws for our daughters fifth birthday when he starts having severe trouble breathing. They get him to the hospital and he's delirious. He was having severe lack of oxygen and too much co2 so he barely knew who he was. Due to covid I or his mother couldn't be there. I didn't hear from him for a few hours and started to panic. I only managed to get through to hospital staff the next day when they told me he'd been put on life support for acute respiratory failure. Double pneumonia in both lungs and later we found out colitis. There was little to no communication and the nurses sounded mad and plain done when you called for information. He was on a ventilator for 11 days. I managed to go see him when they finally got the visiting hours straightened out for ICU patients. His bed for too small for his 6"2 frame and his feet were hanging off the bed. Waking up from the ventilator he couldn't move his head, arms, hands and legs and nobody could give him an explanation as to why. I got blatantly shouted at by his discharge nurse who discharged him even though he couldn't feel his feet, stand up or put any weight on his feet. They rang me asking if I'd pick him up and I said of course! No transportation was offered to which she screamed it was. Absolute joke. Worst hospital in existence. Anyway they then begrudgingly provided transport were the nurses threw his o2 onto his lap and later that day we found it hadn't even been turned on. Anyway 12 days home and home healthcare advised he go back to the doctor as he was experience low o2 levels again, low bp and the pain in his feet were immense. He had a rash covering his entire body from the meds they'd prescribed so we took him to CMC Atrium health (whole new world there). Were he was put on 5 liters of oxygen. Please avoid this hospital at all costs. There's a handful of really lovely staff there that I'd suggest look at getting a job at Atrium, because there's no way caramont can be open much longer.

Then they called with the audacity to tell me to come back and get my prescription and papers . i tell them i left i had priorities. i ll have to shred and tell the doctor. tell them then .
